An ambitious game you have here. The dialogues sure were cute. The screen size was too small for me so I have to zoom out firefox before I get the "feel" of the game. I would like the ability to change key bindings. I want to change zxcv and ~ because I have big hands so in order to press them, I have to take my fingers off from wasd sacrificing ship movement.

tips for final boss: use a high lv chain or wave to get through his 'shields'; don't pay too much attention to dodging the large lasers, just focus on the blue ones; use overdrive every chance you get; use a secondary that you can hit the center of the screen while you're on the top or bottom of the screen (missiles work best).

Wow, it's not often I bother commenting, but this definitely deserves it. Brilliant, 5/5. Such story, such length! And most of all, such characters! Wonderful. And it was always you Deadeye, I just cannot resist insane redheads with heavy weaponry...

ok the storyline, the textures, the upgrade system...but everything is so repetitive and easy that everything else vanishes i just did my 17th level and i can't stand this game anymore...i give up

Best written game for a very long long time. Just brilliant story, characters and a decent action game make this an awesome piece of work, just awesome. Thank you.
Personally I won't vote for the ending, I liked all the endings, and loved the free option of them all, they add a lot to the already complex characterisations. Great work.

The first time I've played a game that I've enjoyed so much I completely ignored the badges. This was incredible and the characters and story was amazing. 5/5.

This is such an amazing game, it has all the elements needed for a beyond 5 star RPG. The dialogue is great, and keeps the player in tuned, and the whole story line behind the entire game is very moving. Amazing game, keep up the good work! Definitely 5/5

Whenever Ginny says, "Mister Deuce always has me taking off my clothes for him." You gotta sorta feel good for Deuce whenever it comes to his relationship with Ginny.

I knew there was something strange about Johnny when he first told me one of his distant relatives died while we were in the middle of the end of time.

I disagree with the guy that said good games are made by having good story lines. They are mostly made from good programming. Even the most simple and overused game genres can be awesome as long as it is made right.

By far one of the best games on the site I've played. The gameplay is nice, and I'll admit I've always been a sucker for shooters of this time, whether top-down or side scrollers. The fact that it's got solid shooter mechanics and a pretty good RPG leveling/upgrade system were real pluses. However, it's the story, characters, and backgrounds that make it great. It's rare to see this much effort go into making a flash game's story, and it really shows. I really connected with several of the characters, and you did a great job of developing several of them throughout the game. Without spoiling anything, several moments were honestly quite moving, something rare in a flash game. The soundtrack was also a real plus, though nothing approached the sheer epicness of the "final battle" music. One of the few I'm still playing after I got all the badges, and will probably still be playing for quite a while. I can't stop. T_T All in all, an easy 5/5. Oh, and Deadeye FTW.

As games go these days, things like strong characters and a crackling good plot are very rare. This one has it all...polished graphics unexpected for an online game (let alone a flash!) of it's kind, a great soundtrack that leaves you, for once, wanting to leave your speakers on as you play a game, gameplay itself that is fun and exciting yet not mindless, characters that you can relate to, witty and deep and purely loaded dialogue, a plot that grabs you and doesn't let go; hell, it even has philosophy. I've seen bits and pieces of my own life story in your game, and I've had more than one "aha!" moment as I've read through the story line. It even has a save feature...there is truly nothing to dislike about this game. It's been well thought out and made even better. From all us fans, kudos on the massive success and keep up the great work. Thank you for creating something more than just a game. Thumbs up so they can see this and be encouraged to keep doin what they doin

@ themightycaribou, Sure. L2F2 came out today but I would hardly call it competition. Most of it's gags run out early on and it's more of last game...a really grindy launcher game that owes most of it's success to using a crazy penguin (incapable of believing penguins are flightless birds) as the protagonist.
