Needs another one or two music tracks for the levels, that same repeating song is mind numbing, other than that it's fun enough.

Stylish, classy, great depth and character development. You should be given the rights to make a more in-depth game with different bosses, obstacles, and enemies, on a larger system. Games like this these days lack a lot of what you did by sheer talent.

Probably the best game Ive played on kongregate...
I dont think anything else needs saying.
Oh a strategy guide would be nice...

RPG Shooter: Starwish easily beats the other flash shooters, and is a really unique game. 5/5
I would love it if you would make a sequel, and i'm sure many other people would appreciate it.

Anyone who thinks the save isn't working just look at the updates in the description. It explains why the save sometimes doesn't work.

The ending was truly incredible, it really makes you think about life and what's worth fighting for. It has opened my mind to countless ideas. Thank you

The amount of work put into this game is phenomenal, The RPG element stays fresh because of the different ways to upgrade your ship and the story keeps the gameplay from being monotonous. There are a few things keeping me from giving this a five star rating and that is that some of the events in the story seem too convenient (everyone saying, oh by the way I'm a pirate lord or hey look at me I'm a magical genie) and Ginny's ending doesn't have the depth I was looking for and the number of songs doesn't match up to the length of the game. Despite these criticisms, Starwish is a solid game and most importantly, a fun experience.

Good game! Constructive criticism... I'd rather endure bullet hell than have to face those random vector, instant enemy lasers. Have to get lucky to pass the last boss without a grind. =u=

I had a hard time deciding which was better- Ginny's or Deadeye's endings. Ginny's was bitter-sweet but I think she deserved it after all the self-sacrifice. Dedai's ending was so sweet but I ended up voting for Ginny. I just wish Ginny's ending was... uhmm... better. Q.Q

i cannot find words to describe the level of sheer awesomeness of this game, of course maybe i am just partial to these kinds of games, but this is like an anime with shooter bits for commercials.

Man the concepts of the meaning of life you've put in here are like nothing I've ever seen before in any game, let alone a flash based one.
Kudos for making a game with such a cool story line.

Awesome game! Graphics were top notch, and the characters all had a very deep personality. If I could suggest a few things though, could you:1) Add an auto-fire button and 2) Make the obstacles a bit different from the background. That's really about it. Amazing job! Looking forward to a sequel!

this reminds me of an RPG that i used to play but i forgot the name and that makes me sad because that game was awesome

Played it, kept playing it, never stopped playing it. This game is amazing. The characters are so well developed. I FEEL LIKE I KNOW THEM.

The characters in this game are amazing; they "click" so well, something that you don't even see in a lot of console games.

"Regenerative Swamp Gumbo" -- Deuce: "I tried it. If anything, that nasty stuff would make you wish you could rip your tongue off and regenerate a new one."

I'm at a loss of words. Everything about this work of art is brilliant although quite depressing. I implore you to please make a sequel I would shit a brick. Pardon my language.

You should send this game to Sony or EA or Blizzard, or at the very least, make it a paid app in the apple platform! This is undoubtedly the very best flash game I played, the music, storyline, gameplay, graphics, even the new game plus option - it's an EPIC project.

Johnny: "It's like a tree. First you plant the seed and then it will grow into a powerful economic force to be reckoned with!"
Deuce: "Good. I'll be the one with the chainsaw."
LOL!! The time and effort put into this masterpiece shines through! I adore the character interactions.

The only thing I didn't like about this game was there was no wish to bring Ginny back :'( so her and deuce could be together. Other than that this game was awesome!!

being busy as usual, i haven't completed the game yet, but i have to say everyone is right, this game is amazing, most of the games i play that are supposedly good have butchered english, and inconsistant characters. In this i haven't found that, i've found a game that is as amazing as the Shin Megami Tensei series...
Great work, i hope you continue to make amazing games like this, i'll definantly be a fan!

I give it a 4.9 out of 5 Though it is well done it almost every sense, and I would love a sequel, there is glitch. If you use overdrive it turns you intangable (This makes sense so you don't hurt yourself because you can't see your ship. But this allows you to going inside walls without being hurt at all. In the Maze level of the enigma planet you can complete most of it without touching anything because you can protect your self in the middle wall.

codysaidhi- I think it was supposed to be resemble. I can't remember that dialog, but I think it was meant to be a joke.
kratoyd- I'm sorry if I sound mean right now... but you're to only person I've ever noticed who has complained about how the loading screen looks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, I haven't even played the game yet, and I have mixed feelings about it. Everybody is saying it's amazing, but you REALLY need a better loading screen for this! I almost closed the game before I decided to give it a second choice and read the comments. If this is as amazing as people say, would you pretty-please make a better loading screen for your sequel?

My god, I just realized I've plugged 10+ hours into this game this week. Never before have I encountered a flash game that has affected me this deeply, and I can only think of a handful of retail games that have provoked such an emotional response from myself! All aspects of the game are simply amazing. The core gameplay is solid, and has enough variety to keep things interesting in terms of weapon types and upgrades. The characters aren't the most original, but they're extraordinarily well-written and compelling. I loved the dialogue, and the overall story arc was amazing. I can't believe this game has so many endings. I've played through the game four times already just trying to get them all. I have my sights set on the secret ending, but it's going to wait awhile.
Instant 5/5 and fave. In fact, I saved it to my hard drive, so that I will have this game years down the road. This game is the epitome of what flash can do when put in the right hands. Bravo, a thousand times bravo.

I don't think I've ever spent so much time on a game so obviously I loved it. Great game. Wish I had spoken to more of the characters in the cafe :(
