So I just defeated the Earthwall and the Firebolt just started attacking... and I just read Gen say "Make it so." ...Really? A Federation captain that leads one of the most powerful ships in its organization and he says "Make it so"? Coincidence, I think not! <3 Hurray for Star Trek references.

im sorry but the amount of detail that has gone into this game is incredible. ive now played it twice with different endings. the gameplay is quite fun but the story is brilliantly set out. just hoping you make a sequel! 5/5

So, I'm not the best gamer when it comes to reaction times, but this was still playable. I love RPGs, and thus, loved the story behind this. It was easy to follow, a tad bit manipulat-able (I just made up a word, yay) through who you chose to talk to, and it's all in all a good game. I gave it 5 stars which I don't do all that often... good work!

This is a game sort of reminiscent of something like Final Fantasy; the gameplay is pretty fun, but the story is just amazing.

This is awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story unfolds at just the right speed, with each character's development not too rushed. Good game!

"What gives life meaning, if anything?" Umm... should of been a option for "The small things in life makes it worth living."

It seems like I would have noticed this if it was a short time ago and not far from here. Maybe these are relative terms.

The game is pretty good but it gets repetitive. Reusing the same bosses and the same enemies becomes dull very quickly.

Well, that's one helluva flash game!
Took me longer to finish then Metro 2033 or RAGE...
Altough I've got the feeling it's most about the story and less about the fighting, eh? :P Anyway, 5/5!
Aaaaaaaand...
Laser Chicken!!!

Even though the game is a little too long for my taste, the story and especially the end make up for all of it. Will now start a second run :)

Games that leave you with both a smile and a sense of accomplishment at the end.
Just the right degree of difficulty for me in normal mode.
Kudos to all who completed it in hard.

Strangely, it seems that the art used in the game is better than that used in the endings. And Deadeye seems to look better without normal eyes. XD

Why do so many games lately have to start off with you playing an impossible to win fight? Yes, alright already, I get it... your starting guy sucks failure... they're suppose to! Let's skip enforcing that well known fact and get to the actual game itself already, or just make that part a cinematic.

I love the game, but after a while it became just a bit too monotonous. I felt like I had to just force myself to play through the end game because all of the levels were basically the same over and over again.

Whenever I start a new game, the first battle is super glitchy, and if I die the enemies stay on the screen for the next battle and it skips quite a bit into the story. :(

@Jsilvis. Maybe people downvoted you because they disagree with you. Also, it's ironic how much you ramble in a too-long comment about how the game has too much text. On a side note, there's also too much text for my taste.

@JSilvis, Dude, this is a public site, not a private community, that allows votes on comments. Stop whining when people vote you down. Some people enjoy Story over Gameplay. Sorry you're slow (at reading).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@JSilvis The reason you may have been downvoted was because you didn't like the huge amounst of text. That's fine and all, but you do know that this is not a mere shooter, but a RPG-Shooter? A RPG usually has a lot of conversation and text in general. Can't have a good RPG without enough Conversation, just need to deal with it.

Before everyone votes this down; this is a very good game, and a fun shooter. It's a 4/5 game for me. That being said; there is just far...far...FAR too much text. I have no problem at all with story and text. Story is a good thing and I don't mind reading. But..it's just taken so insanely overboard. It's more like reading a book than playing a game. I started at least 20 minutes ago I have spent 99.8% of the time reading text, and .2% actually playing a game. The gameplay is fluid and fun, and yes, the story is good, but there is just too much of it. I mean...this is a GAME site, not a novel corner. Like I said, I enjoy reading and story..but this, has just taken it way, way, WAY too far. I have seriously done nothing but read for the last 20 minutes. Enough already, jesus. 4/5 for the gameplay, 4/5 for the story, 0/5 for being a novel with a bit of gameplay thrown in.

This game is not so easy that I get bored, and not so hard that I get fustrated. You've done a great job while "calibrating" this game. Also, as OseronPhaer said, it's like reading a book, and you get interested in the story. It's not like some games in which the only thing you do is: Next level>Play>Buy Upgrades>Next level. You've made a brilliant game. ;)

Easily one of the best games I've played in a while, even considering that I'm not a fan of the shooter genre, the story was so riveting that it made me wanting more. The characters were lovable, and I really felt like i began to care for them. The music was catchy and cool, and the art style was well done and nice to watch. I just wish that when Mare was training you, you could have watched a cool battle scene or at least an unwinnable battle with Mare. The story kept me on my toes and was unique and intuitive. Good Job! 5/5!

I love how everyone always says this or that was their favorite part. But for me if I can't say any one part was my favorite. The whole games was my favorite. From loading screen to credits I loved it.

Never played a shmup with a story, let alone romance. Well, other than Jamestown. I like this game a whole lot; it's a shame I can't download it.
