That was absolutely beautiful! I'm giving it a 5/5 for the presentation, story, music, etc. and I have one very small request to change in the sequel, should you decide to do one. Please let the bosses take damage the moment they can damage us. As they come onto the stage, they can hit us with two salvos of their weaponry before we can do anything, and I think that's a little odd. Also, variation in the bosses would be great. There's nothing wrong with the repeats, but reaching Iblis and having to slightly change strategy was very nice considering I had fought the same 5 bosses 3 times. Congrats on such a great game!!!

This is an amazing game. I love those flash games that have the potential to be retail games. Truth be told, I would buy this game for $60. Throw in voice acting and FMV's and you have yourself an entire gaming package! Also, I used XPadder with an old arcade type controller for a total side-scrolling experience! Made the game that much more fun.

amazing game very well-written dialogue. Could use some smoother controls and more upgrades dont be afraid to explore with the sequal. :)

As a schmup fan for many years, I've always been repeatedly disappointed by attempts at the genre using flash. There is absolutely no reason why a good schmup can't be made in flash and this game ... goes a long way to prove that. The systems shown in the game are solid but it fails to understand the subtleties of the genre and also fails to challenge, resulting in some boredom. The leveling in the game doesn't quite work but is a nice addition. The story however is great, I love character driven stories (even when the overall plot is weak, like in this) and found these characters very interesting despite being often overly cliche. Overall a fantastic effort which I feel privileged to have had the good fortune to have played, I just hope for a sequel that understands the intricacies of the schmup genre.

Ah, as with any RPG, the answer is level grinding. The stats that are based on the percentage of stat points to the maximum is slightly vexing. The story heals all ills though.

I keep boosting my Item% to 10. Then I come back, and it's back at 9. Third time this has happened. My Luck is up to 100 already. WTH?

I can honestly say I have never played a flash game with such an extensive storyline. The gameplay got repetitive (especially since the bosses repeated), but it's been an enjoyable two days.

This game got my attention, which is rare. Great character development, great music and gorgeous pictures. Nice gameplay too!
Thers is some problems here and there, but nothing that handicaps the fun.

At first, I thought it was pretty easy, then all of a sudden, I'm at the end of time and they are like the previous levels, but from Hell. Awesome game.

Such a great game
I'll admit, at times the gameplay was frustrating
But the story was so good, engrossing and funny, and I actually feel affected by this game

Wonderful game, one of the best rpg flash games i've ever played. The story kept me interested and kept the surprises coming the entire time. Wish I could see something like this moved up to a larger, console scale.

That was a good game. It's been a long time since I've played one that made me feel like that. I just want to thank you for making it. The story? Brilliant. The atmosphere? Fantastic. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

special endings are based on relationships with people (relationships go up by talking to them in cafe).....You need to talk to people in a certain order. look up the guides for the order. Also, starting questions just set your starting stats... if you want to customize your own starting stats, i suggest you skip that part. the calculations for figuring out what does what is a bit tiresome.

really wish people would read updates before raging about lost saves
"Some people seem to be having trouble saving games lately, not just on this game. There was a recent Adobe update that seemed to have broken things for some people, such as saving. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon."

Alright, I am all over a 5.9/5 rating on this game, but just one question: Why are Federation ships in the End of Time? lol I thought it was supposed to be a far away place that takes a legendary black hole to reach O.O

Nice and easy... only bosses can do some trouble. Its too much lev of wepon, come on i seen even 62. I dont know what bonuses are so i choose in blind and some can have good effect if stack, first example critic on bomb and secound additional bomb shot... it would be nice if i can see it on tree or something to know with cumulate and what i want. But enyway i like this game.

The intro song has now become attached to me.
When I beat the ending, I was like "I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG, IT FITS SO WELL!".

NOW THAT'S A GAME!
This is one of the really rare five-star games on Kongregate. To show you how well you did, I somehow bought the last gun before Deadeye could do a cutscene explaining it, and now I'm combing the internet, trying to find a video of that cutscene I missed!
The weapons are really fun to play with - not just a redistribution of scattering patterns, different weapons behave differently with the landscape. I find myself switching among them to get enemies out of nooks and crannies vs. going for maximum dps. I rarely pay so close attention to weapon payload in a space shooter!
5 stars... and I don't give that rating easily. You should be very proud of yourself. This is professional quality.

@jonny0panic What are you talking about. It's your fault if you're impatient and just clickspam. Also the skills don't "immediately" appear. Its like 5 seconds after the level ends, screen goes gray and says you leveled up and AFTER that the icons appear. You are blaming the game for your own mistakes.

This game is awesome.I loved the story along with the jokes thrown in now and then.
It does have its fair share of shortcomings, though. In the ice level in world 3,It is very easy to get stuck/go through the thin walls. It is also not possible to go left and up diagonally at the same time for a strange reason. It is also possible to 'glitch' the laser past short walls as fired lasers still move up and down relative to the location of the ship.
Despite the above problems and other problems that may occur in the game,it is still deserving of my 5 stars.

Son of a... I was tired and looking forward to getting some sleep for a change. I was going to play some random game for a few minutes but nooooooooooo, I had to start playing this game. One of the better ones I've played for quite a long while. Thank you!

As it's calling itself an RPG, shouldn't I be able to decide my alignment- whether I'm good or bad, lawful, or chaotic? Starting out as space vermin doesn't give me much to work with. No "have change of heart, stop being a pirate, and surrender" button. :-/

Increasing drone spawn rate isn't originality if you're recycling the boss. I feel like I'm being forced to play through the same game three times to get the Hard badge. I just pray there's not a fourth.
