Alright, a 5/5 game, but there ARE a few glitches. After overdrive, if you are still inside a wall (phasing through), can it be made so I just get out and lose a bit of shield instead of just being stuck there? Also, in the stage "absolute zero", for some reason, the walls just don't react to me.
Additionally, as said before, the bosses were kind of....ehh. The only time I ever died was at Iblis. Either way, great storyline, okay gameplay, and a good start. Just...work on the bosses next time ._. it gets boring the third time when you know a surefire way to beat it.

I'd love to see a sequel, but some improvements need to be made! The game was pretty easy, even on hard mode. Also, the enemy and boss design seemed kinda lazy (e.g. the crystal dragon), everything was completely static too. Some animations from enemies and bosses would have worked wonders for the game's presentation. Don't get me wrong, this was a good game. The narrative and story telling was great and really fun to read; it's rare that a flash game is so well-written, let alone a shmup, so kudos for that. The upgrade system was addictive even if it was just mindless stat building, but it kept me going throughout. I also liked the Contra-styled weapons like the crush gun.
In closing: Good game and a great start. Just a little rough around the edges. 4/5

Anyone know the best setup? I am currently using lasers/missiles but I am thinking of switching from lasers to chargers.

I went and watched the rest of the endings after finishing the game once.
I don't regret "cheating" to see what happens. The game itself is tedious, but the storyline is brilliant. Just... finish the game first.

This game is pulling at my heart. Quite possibly the best story-driven RPG I've ever played. And I've played a LOT of RPGs.

1.30 a.m. Couldn't stop playing it. I HAD to see it right through the end.
Man. That WAS a true RPG. Yeah, maybe not conventional, and maybe a space shooter of all things. But it has a story the new Final Fantasy would want to... Thank you... for all.

You need to work at Bioware or Bethseda or .... anywhere really. I'm sure Japan is drooling over your storytelling games and I'm sure they want you. You should throw your game out to major developers try to get a job if you don't already.

The only thing i didn't like was having to fight all bosses again. This reminds me of old Super Nes games like Mickey in Circus and Donald Duck and lots of other games where that happens.
5/5 though. You did a great job.

TIP: When you activate overdrive, you become invulnerable for a short period of time meaning you can take hits that would normaly damage you and pass through walls or enimies. + so other people can know this!

This game is great, but my sole complaint is the level "Absolute Zero". I keep on getting stuck inside the wall, and despite me moving the arrow keys to get out, I'm stuck there until I float to the back of the screen and blow up. I've gone through this level about 15 times now, and this always happens. Frustrating.

not to sure what all the fuss is about. this game is pretty standard and boring at that. took me a good 15 minutes until i was bored out of my mind. better luck next time.

Needs difficulty curve adjusted. I didn't try hard, but normal is tediously easy. Basically you only die if you completely drop your combat modules for exp/money or you get stuck behind something.
Still, not a bad game.

wait a moment, now i figure out, the "i dont wish anithing" has no posibilitie to vote.. and that would be the perfect cannon!

if they added a bit more fighters even thought they dont make a paper just as soldiers on each side or maybee not this could be made to an anime series or manga

It does read like fanfic though, as well as awkwardly translated Japanese at many points too. I still like it, it's not literary genius but it's a nice break from more common flash games.

i would like that for the second part you could load the file from this game to the other so you can have the final you wanted.. even if that can be a lot of programation it would be amazing, being able to play deadeye, swig and tessa ending

I got all excited when the comments said the writing was excellent, and then it wasn't. It's like a fanfic. Tired character types and plotlines, and the main character just seems to get along with /everyone/.

This is amazing. I managed to finish the first playthrough in one sitting (meaning all day lol) definitely bookmarking this to unlock all the ending at a later time! 10/5! All around excellent game. I'm not the type to get emotional during video games, but this one... I cried not only once, but TWICE! The characters are very easy to connect with, and the story is absolutely amazing. The combat is a nice break from reading, but in all honesty, if this was an anime, I would watch it all day long. Seriously, have you considered getting into professional storywriting?

I am not even done with this game yet but it is BY FAR the best free webgame ive played in my life. Easily earned my 5/5.

I don't get it. Why stats % go down when I level up? I had Critical Damage 100%, after some levels I added points to ther stats and now it is 93%. Someone knows and could tell me the reason? Thanks.

"The rice ball was gone, forever lost in the panda's belly."
Tessa: "See? I told you I could cook."
Deuce: "I don't think that counts. Swig would eat bricks if so inclined."

I think that in the beginning, in the very first conversation, you should be able to see who is talking, something like ????1 and ????2 since people can tell if they speak or not.

After finishing the game i took Ginnys ending.I watched it and after it i just sat down and started thinking about my life.I find no words to describe all the emotions i felt after it.Great job

Amazingly enough, the game itself is f'd up. It looks like each frame of the entire game shows up on one window, seriously check out your developing skills.

I can see this game actually being either a movie or a Anime Mini-series.
It has an amazing story, with a plot and a twist, a colorful cast of characters, multiple weapons. Mods and the Leveling up system. All in All, a really good game.

I'm either nowhere close to the middle of the game (just defeated earthwall) or, the "dating sim" aspect of the game isn't fleshed out as I've had no choices to make when it has come to the ladies. Also I enjoy good story telling, and 70% of what you wrote is great... It's that 30% that I feel is just filler of stuff you've already been told ect, so you want to skip but you don't want to miss the good parts.

a hint from me about getting the hard badge is that its not really hard at all it just takes alot of time and pacience but otherwords this game was awsome loved the story loved the pictures, carachters, and even the music. great game. cant wait for a sequal. 5/5
p.s. yes i do have really bad spelling
