if you finish this game within 30 mins. it's either your a fast reader or a skiper. and hey how come after defeating the 2nd firebolt the ordinary enemy are stronger than firebolt. i thought firebolt could destroy a planet. this little dude can destroy a solar system

Zacharious, they distribute your beginning stats. Reading books would give you intellect, playing sports would give either offence or agility (I forgot), and so on. Skipping it lets you distribute your stat points however you wish after defeating firebolt though.

Without getting into this game's pros and cons, I can say it's the only game of it's length I've ever played through 3 times. I know it's been a couple of years, but please, please make another.

For this game first of all i highly enjoy it. It's witty, thought-provoking and fun. Only thing i'm curious about is what purpose do the questions at the beginning serve. Do they change the story or affect stats or something else? Just curious

This game is truly a masterpiece. I have enjoyed it in just 2 days it has become my most favorite game. I must say that this game is thought out well in every aspect and simply brilliant.

This is without a doubt one of the best Flash games out there. It plays and it written beautifully. My two concerns when I started out were that I wouldn't be engaged enough to play to the end and that I wouldn't enjoy the gameplay (simply not a genre I like).
They were both smashed, I couldn't stop playing.

You've made a very amazing game. When I get my hands on some money, I'll pass some along to you. I'd love to see more great stuff like this =)

This is the only flash game I find myself coming back to play after long periods of time. I've earned every ending and yet I still keep coming back for more.

When you talk to Johnny in the cafe, he gives you hints on the requirements for other people. (after his first talk at least) A few examples: In the second conversation you have with him he says that deadeye enjoys it when people test out her weapons. In the one where he talks about Ginny he states that she enjoys seeing you come back alive from your missions, and for Neferiti he says that she feels safer around you when you prove yourself on the battlefield. It's kind of obvious if you look at it.

lol i love how the guy says he wont go out, then, not twenty secs later, he's like "All right, I got a plane with a gun. Let's do this army ppl!" then he blows up because he's kinda retarded, not to be rude

@silencian, to avoid this just downgrade your engine. This only happens to me when my engine is upgraded past level 10. Also, if your going for a no deaths run and this happens, pause and escape, it doesn't count as dying.

... Okay one thing annoys me CONSTANTLY: getting caught on the scenery and dragged along until it eats your shields/health or pulls you off the screen. >.<

I just noticed something, I'd bet more people would vote for Ginny's ending to be the starter of the second Starwish if it had easier requirements, but some people either can't do it or won't bother. Besides that, what place was she in anyways?

Conspiracy! Everyone vote for Mare's ending! Personally, I liked Ginny's character the best, and I preferred Tessa's ending, but I voted for Mare's ending anyway. Why? Because it sets you up perfectly for a sequel. You get two kids, probably a boy and a girl, with special abilities, a strong will, and a natural talent for flying. Throw in a tragic death scene where both parents die fighting the game's new antagonist, and you have an already compelling plot.

I absolutely loved this game. The reason it's part of best of 2011 is not because of gameplay, but because of plot. That's easily forgotten. It's gameplay is just a bullet hell with some small differences, but in my opinion, what made this worth it was the story. I loved the humor and the seriousness of it. 5/5, definitely.

Original brewmaster was from warcraft 3, it's probably based off that. brew from dota wasn't a very popular hero as far as I know

God, that tour of the ship with Ginny took forever! I would rather if you had took us directly to the menu, then for each location (tavern, weapons, etc.) you go to for the first time, Ginny happens to be along and you do the introduction bit in that zone. Wayy too long of a tour. Otherwise, great game!

Deuce: If you hate me just tell me you hate me and I'll leave you alone!
Ginny: I hate you
Deuce: Okay I meant that rhetorically...
ROFL :D
