Oh geez. Such a great game, until the dialogue near the end. Somehow billions of lives are more important than trillions of lives, because the billions would have kids, and the trillions... wouldn't? That wasn't very clear. And then there was the massive nerd-off "I can has hydrogen and helium, so I winzorz!" "LOL NO ITS PLASMA!11!!11one"

Damn it. Final Fantasy lite. Best 7 hours I have ever spent (on and off). There is no need for a sequel in my opinion. But another game like this would be great.

The drone mothership got a error. It got a dead angle in betwen its laser directly under its canons, if you place the ship there it wont hit you and you can easy kill it.

Vote secret ending! My biggest reason: think Deuce should choose Ginny who sacrificed the most, but can't vote for Ginny ending which separates Deuce/Ginny from everyone. Also quite conflicted because even though support Deuce/Ginny ship (minus Ginny ending) for sentimental reasons, also think Deuce is a player and bit clueless to make definitive decision about who likes. Secret ending conveniently bypasses Deuce making romance decision (implies he doesn't) and brings back Ginny which is why it nicely resolves my (Ginny/Deuce=player) conflict. Thumbs up if ANY of the following applies to you: -like/would vote for the secret ending (which sort of combines many of the other endings) if it were a choice -at least want to see Ginny be brought back -support a Deuce/Ginny ship -think Deuce is too much of a player/clueless to make a definitive romance decision -support a Deuce/Star ship

I've been playing this game for more than half an hour and I'm still immersed in the story. the writing is slightly cheesy but well done in general. the characters are believable and the background music fits absolutely perfect. good job; I look forward to getting into the actual game aspect.

Hahahah! Captain "Neferiti".
As soon as I saw his name: "I wonder if he's the bad guy?"
Great job on the game, love it.

Wow. This is a pretty well-made game. The story is rather compelling, and it's only made better by the simple, easily worked-out gameplay.

For like the 7th time of playing through, I noticed a slight flaw. While Johnny is on planet Enigma (and indeed is not present in the cafe) he reappears in the weapons bay and introduces the weapon scatter instead of Deadeye. And I can't believe I just noticed that....

Very nice game, save for 1 little thing.
It might be a nice idea to either add a slider, type in or 'press and hold' function to add stats and mods (or substract in case of mods) in large quantities. If you do a few new game+ cycles you kill your mouse clicking everything back in the start, or switching mods around midgame to focus on other stats.

*SPOILER ALERT LOOK AWAY!*
To unlock the secret ending, you need to play on hard mode, and speak to everyone 9 times. You also must not die before day 19. Go to http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/175829-rpg-shooter-starwish?page=3 and look at MrRubix's posts for a full solution if you cannot figure out the cafe system. Thumbs up if that helped :D

very well made game, like the comedy in this as well as the storyline. Also like the game play as well. Pretty long game too i would say. If any sequels are made, i'd definitely buy it if it was a game you have to pay for.

Wow, a flash game kept me more interested then some AAA game. And I actually was deep in thought about final choice (chose restoration of Bamboo).

Wishes are not the solution to everything. They will rob you of fulfillment. When everything is suddenly in your grasp, you will find that nothing is worth grasping.

Wow. That is all I can say.
Firstly, a great gaming system. The one difference between this and other 2D shooters being the emphasis on the storyline.
And oh, what a storyline, if I could, I would play and replay this game to get all of the endings many times over. I ended up using the gaming as a tool to progress in the story, rather than appreciating the combat mechanics...
The music was spellbinding and impacting almost all the way through, and I was almost reduced to tears at some points from the effect of the music...
I have only played this once, and I received the "no wish" ending, and the others sound very promising.
I loved the interaction with the characters, and maybe in the sequel (if it gets made (fingers crossed)) there could be a dialogue action to add more of an interactive sense to the game.
This was, in all, a masterpiece. A definite 5/5 for me. :D

Love everything about this game. The interaction, the art, and the story is lengendary. Unlocked all the endings in 5 days. Wonderful game.

In the tutorial in hard mode:
Oh my god! Firebolt is almost dead and i still got half my life left! Im gonna get the Time Paradox achievement!
Suddenly lag spike, and then: Mission Failed.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!

Seriously, The story telling is awesome. The characters are so believable... This felt more like reading a book than playing a game, which I enjoyed, most game have lost that. I had the most fun just reading through dialogue and story. The plot actually makes sense and is intriguing enough to keep me playing. Well done, you sure got the writer aspect down :)
Oh and the game's good too. simplistic, but fun nonetheless. having freedom as to what to upgrade and what to explore sure is nice. Also bosses were fun, diversified and far from repetitive. 5/5 for me. Keep up the awesome work.
