This is excellent. Epic in length without feeling like it's dragging on; solid dialogue for a Flash game; entertaining gameplay with a surprising variance of viable builds; great visuals and soundtrack; an intuitive relationship-building interface (at least with Johnny's helpful tips); and a wonderful cast. The amount of dialogue is just fine throughout most of the game, though admittedly the very first part is overwhelmingly long.

while oracle was talking about her past, I erroneously closed the browser. Now the game reloaded with the next mission ready, but I missed the story? Is there a way to repeat the dialogues? Or some script online? Please help!

You have created one of the greatest games I have played on this site, or any such site. A great story, wonderful gameplay, addicting, and even good music.... although I must confess I substituted "The Impossible Dream" for the final battle, it just fit.

I really don't care if you rate me low. I'm not Phd for nothing. Keep sitting in front of a computer and play for the rest of your miserable lives. :)

Impressive game, upgrades and mods got expensive at a managable rate, enemy difficulty progression was exponential at a moderate rate, storyline kept me glued to the screen for the most part, loved that drunk panda, and story outcome was very well thought. Overall, 10/5, you earned it after such a massive upload.

Who says the game has too much dialogue in incult. People who doesn't know how to enjoy a good reading. Life is not just games duh!
This just makes a game greater than it should be. If you don't like it, just go play Toss the Turtle or Hedhog launch. Kids (mind age)... tsk, tsk...

This game is actually a book, hiding behind a game. The gameplay in this game is great, but the story is even better. The story is what gave this game such a high rating. (This is why I read books, they're even better than this game!) I love the characters, I love the game.

a great game is all i can say, but too much dialog. The romance part should be optionall, like triggered at the cafe or something.

if anything should replace Epic Battle Fantasy as top rated games. This should be it. Hands down. NO questions asked.

Way tooooooo much text. I know that good character development is important, and so is a nice story, but the truth is there is just too much text. I started the game yesterday I stopped playing after the 1st level/tutorial. I started again today and after one level again you give me 2039120 lines of speech again. Don't get me wrong, I played a couple of FF until the end and I don't mind my game having a huge story, because it is well intertwined with the game. Here you have huge sections of text followed by a level.
The story didn't catch me, and so didn't the gameplay.
2/5

Great game I think...just played 3 levels or so... I'll play it again when I'm in the mood for blocks and blocks of dialogue... I really want to get to know these characters... Just not in the mood right now...

ATTENTION IF YOU LOST SAVE DATA!!
Adobe Flash's most recent update changes how saved data for flash games are stored.
DO NOT CLEAR BROWSER COOKIES, DOING SO NOW WILL DELETE SAVE DATA NOT JUST FOR THIS GAME BUT EVERY FLASH GAME YOU"VE PLAYED ON YOUR COMPUTER.
BELIEVE ME I LOST EVERYTHING FOR EVERY GAME ON THIS SITE I AM ROYALLY PISSED

nice game indeed. this is the way a flash game should be designed. beauty, some leveling, not too repetetive, not too hard yet not too easy and totally free of charge ;)
great work

By far the best game I've ever played on this site. I don't often vote on games, but felt I had to give this the five stars it deserves. It is not without flaws; the stages lacked variety, and some of the dialogue could have used revision; for one thing, there were a couple points that weren't internally consistent.
That's all I can say in criticism, though, and it's not much! The hallmark of a good story is that you become attached to the characters. When it started out, a little voice in my head said, "this is going to be just like every other dialogue-driven Flash game you've played." Ten minutes in, that voice sat down and shut up.
Standing ovation for everyone who worked on this marvel. With a little more polish, this game could easily go commercial, and I will be watching for a sequel - you WILL make one.

@hermanlou
Oh com'on, spend some time reading the dialogue. A good game needs deep character development! The dialogues and ending is like the best part of the game! You are missing out way too much.

If there wasn't a way to skip through all the dialogue, I don't think I'd be able to play this. 5/5 because there is.

skerbl the same happened to me! I don't have the tenacity to sit through the whole game all over again! Rate up so the developer can see and hopefully solve this issue for others.

I'd totally be down with this game actually becoming a console game. Amazing plot, good job man! Hopefully you get a sequel worked out, I know I'll be checking it out if you do.

I really love this game, but unfortunately my savegame keeps resetting to the first mission on Home Planet. This effectively makes the game unplayable for me since I lack the time to play through it in one sitting. But still it deserves a 5-star rating...

This game appears to be designed for only ASWD and mouse click control since I can't move diagonally up/left while pressing space...

I don't often comment on anything, but this testament to well written RPGs and fun, diverse upgrade systems really deserves recognition. Casual yet difficult, simple yet intelligent; kudos sir. Kudos.

Started to play that game at 10pm... and suddenly realized that it's 2am just after destroying Firebolt. It has been a looooong time since I had great game like this :)

This game has it all
solid gameplay, lot's of upgrades and levelling, the modules are also a good element.
the story is fantastic too, although haven't yet completed it fully
I find it's very hard to stop playing this game once you started :)

I have trouble reading some things, but I just noticed that Neferiti's name is spelled with one t, as opposed to how I read it the first several times...Was it intentional, or was it a spelling error? Just curious.

Great characters!
It's weird that enemies can fly through obstacles you can't even shoot though with most guns.
btw I was at the last mission before Iblis when my pc just restarted cos of power shortage and my saves are gone TT. Maybe it flash player update that popped up to blame too.

I know I could simply re-spout everything that's been up here because the writing and the story are all superb and engaging and I really couldn't put it down (was late for work once and I just needed to finish...one..more...level), but honestly, I never really liked comments being used like that.
The one thing that saddened me was that there seemed to be very little actual choice character wise (unless those few questions at the beginning really alter the storyline heavily, because honestly I don't even remember my answers). I was hoping that (because you call it a dating sim) I would at some point be given actual choices for dialogue or what not with the women and would be able to develop a relationship a little bit more. But meh, small gripe, its kinda like asking for a choose your own ending to a great book. One way or another, you did an excellent job.
