The name "Deuce" does not phonetically sound like a bad name, but isn't that another word for stool in english..? This game is honestly pretty beautiful with the music and art and all, and I'm just starting out right know, but if I'm right about the meaning, that's a pretty funny discourse.

To get Extreme Mode, you must be in Hard Mode, then in Cafeteria, you click on the white window, next to where Deadeye and Johny are.
Extreme Mode is really hard, so better get ready!

I finally have Special Ending. I must say was really hard to get. It is my favourite, overall because of Ginny and Johny, since their normal endings are pretty sad, this one let you do something for them.

In the Swamp of the first part i somehow got inside the ground while triying to get an Money bonus. I didnt use Overdrive, and the ground that i got inside was under me... I actually died. NOW I HAVE TO REPLAY EVERYTHING SO THAT I CAN GET GINNY SO THAT I CAN GET SPECIAL...

I absolutely loved this game. I chose to get Dedai's eyes back and that was a very good ending. This game was an absolutely wonderful game and I really would love to see a second one.

I defeated Firebolt at beggining of game. It just said Mission Lost and worked as if i got killed (Which was impossible since i had full health and shields, and firebolt had no health left)

Great! So what's this "special ending" I keep hearing about?
A couple things. First it can only be done on Kongregate. So play it there. Second, it can only be done on Hard Mode (don't worry, it's not THAT hard).
To qualify for the special ending, you must qualify for all 7 character endings in a single run.
Sounds insane, and it is, with all these requirements. But here are a few easy-to-remember tips to help you out in order of importance.
1. Always to to Mare.
2. Never talk to Mare and Ginny on the same day, or you'll end up with a day with no one to talk to.
3. Always talk to Ginny.
4. Always talk to Neferiti.

Requirements for last dialogues and time beetween each chat:
Deadeye: 3 days. Requires that you increase your weapon levels.
Ginny: 2 days. To get her last chat, you must not have died prior to viewing it. After that, you can die as much as you want. Losing in the tutorial battle does not count against you.
Johnny: 3 days. Requires an increasing amount of unspent moola.
Mare: 4 days. No requirements, but because she comes back every 4 days, you must talk to her within the first 2 days.
Neferiti: 1 day. Requires an increasing amount of kills. For the most part you'll satisfy those kills by the time you reach her last one.
Swig: 3 days. No requirements. Swig is pretty much guaranteed.
Tessa: 3 days. Requires you to buy an increasing number of Mods.

oh my gawd i just realiced why i recognised some elements of this game you guys the entire story and some charathers remind me of Gurren Laggan Deuce (simone adult) Ginny (nia) oracle (the clam conterpart of kamina) and iblis itself remind me of the anti-spirals o.O...that just makes this game even more awsome

If you make a sequel can you please make the shields better. In my opinion, they suck. Even with mods and such its like one hit and I am losing health. Even when by some miracle I get a shield to drop (I have the item mod maxed) it seems like it is insignificant versus Iblis. Love the game, don't love the shields.

To earn an end, you must speak whit person you wanna end whit 8 times.
There is a Neferiti end in Hard Mode.
There is a super secret end whit (CENSORED BY SOPA) by obtaining all the endings!

This is the best game I've ever played. Better than any real console game, or computer game. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this game, it's just too perfect.

Great game and soundtrack. Could use a button to mute only the sound effects. Pew pew gets tiring and covers the chill music.

Outstanding game... simply outstanding. An excellent storyline, with good character development and a great plot. The musical score was also a cut above the rest (which makes a huge difference in overall game experience). I must say that the game play is good, but could use improvement (splitting hairs I know, but from your production quality I feel you are capable of even more). Overall, one of the best flash games I've played. Bravo!!!

Forgot to add props for the soundtrack. I had Starwish's title screen for hours just because I wanted to keep listening to the opening theme. x')

WOW. Just... wow. I can't imagine what kind of game you could have come up had you been given bigger, more experienced and professional team. I can tell you played a lot of classic RPG; your writing, character design, world building, they are all console-standard. I'm definitely looking forward for the sequel of Starwish and please continue making other games as well. 8D

Interface graphics need a serious overhaul, they're kind of scary bad. I'd say ripped straight from a snes emulator. Mouse controls should be on by default - its pretty impossible otherwise. And bigger more badass weapons ^^

You weren't kidding when you said epic, were you? That was such n awesome, addictive and well made game. The story was great and the method of the story (in its many layers) and the actual game play was great! :) You should make more! If you did, I'd definitely be a buyer! :)

Possibly the greatest game I have played in a very long time, i would love to see a sequal. The characters were so well created and the story is so rich. if i could i would give it a far higher rating than 5 stars. If this game was to become available on xbox/ps3 i would most certainly purchase it. Please bring out a sequel so i may once again relish in the art of what a true game is! GREAT JOB!

Great Game!! I love it and it has a great story line which is very important. I love retro games and I also love rpg's. This game is perfect and if it was available on the xbox/PS marketplace it would do very well. Just an idea developer..
