This game seems too easy at the beginning and to difficult at the end... The story's cool but the gameplay seems like it could be enhanced a bit.

This isn't just a flash video game, it's art. This game is just pure genius. The battles were surely intense, every character had their own aspects. It's games like this I would actually by and forever cherish. Now enough with this text, THERE ARE MORE FEDS TO FRY.

Well, I feel that a game should not just tell a story. I could read a book if I wanted a story. What a game should be is simply a game, no deep plot and not "press b not to die." but acctually include more than an hour of actual game play not screen play. still I do like this game. the levels get significantly harder as the game progresses. Lv1 _ lv8-- last boss= GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH.

Got all endings except Neferit's one, does that only appear on hard mode? Because I didn't even meet her at the cafe not even once

man, the fact that even after defeating a boss, you dont have to go back to the same mission to fight it again made me so happy! just, i wish they were harder

I wish you could refresh the weapons lab...or scroll. the fact that you put the same weapon in there 3 times is kind of annoying.

Ugh, someone combined the tedium of side-scrolling shooters with long-winded RPGs, huh? ~hours later~ WOW! I stopped skipping over the cutscenes halfway through, just before the game got good & challenging... this was a FANTASTIC story, thank you! 5/5 for a truly epic story with some fun lil' gamplay in it. :)

Game was amazing for about 2 hours. After that, i stopped caring about the story line, and everything became so repetitive. Great game, just not for me.

i find the last monolith much harder than iblis :( had to retry monolith 4 times to win, won iblis 4 times in a row xD

When is finished this game i got only 3 endings. I couldn't admite that the game has finished so i started playing again to get all the endings (including the special ending) and when i got all the endings...here without knowing what to do. Im really looking forward for starwish 2.

btw anyone know if enemies give more exp and money with each new game+? cause i'm finding the exp is slowing down and if NG+ makes enemies give more exp and money then ill go and do some NG+ playthroughs

this is, by far, the best flash game ive ever played. call me a fan of epic stories, but this one is really great. if this had been an anime instead, i would probably have watched it a hundred times. at some point, the shooter-stuff becomes the obstacle to unlock the next part of the story ^^ so if you ever make something this epic again, consider giving it a "story mode" where you can skip out the unnecessary battles late.

one time i beat the first firebolt on my first try but i ended up dieing at the same time so it activated the defeated cut scene.

Cool game and all, but is there anyway you could break up the story just a BIT? I've been playing for like 15 minutes and done about 1 minute of actual gameplay...I'm fine with a lot of story, and it's actually cool to have so much on a Kong game, but when it's just a huge infodump up front, it's a little tedious.

I started this game at 3 in the afternoon.......it's 1:30 in the morning just finishing it. I played this non stop. Brilliant game. Loved it, loved everything about it

This game was amazing. I could probably rant for a while, but to make a long story short ... most games on kong nowadays i play for ~5 minutes before getting bored. This was very well made, gameplay was enjoyable and the upgrade system was what kept my attention for hours. You, sir, have restored my faith in flash games. Keep 'em coming!

This game is just absolutely amazing. This story and idea quality is better than 90% of the RPGs out on todays consoles. If this game was redone by Square Enix, had voice acting and console graphics it would be one of the best games out there. Truly a great job. You harnessed everything a great game is meant to be. I will be waiting for a sequel

the story is awesome, best story in a game ever (which i keep forgetting its a game) You get so involved in the game...10 minutes later...oh yeah...theres a game tied in to this... the actual shooting flying game part isnt all that good, but the story makes up for it 200%! i just go through the missions for the story!

I was entranced by the story, for the first time in years i shed tears for a game, i sobbed like an orphaned child, i felt sad and that is something that i missed from games. The fact that i cant hate anyone, yes the story line was cheesy but i loved it, and loved the efreeti ending, just to see djinni(sob*)... it's been three days, i missed school and life, but it was worth it.
The gameplay itself did't get old that quick, and the music kept it all alive, i would like an sequal but only if its able to flow with the storyline, the thing that most provoked me to keep playing, to see what was going to happen next, or in hopes to see her* again.. i wasn't exaggerating about crying though, it did get that reaction from me and i thank you for that. Also the word choice was nice, it made me have to think, and did like the amusing banter.

This game = imagination, sci-fi, fantasy, complex characters and story-line, and perfection.
In my unprofessional opinion, this is one of the few "Perfect" games. 5\5

I love this game and everything in it. I always managed to play shooter games and some of them are quite good, but none goes anywhere closer to this. I love the story, I love the characters, I really cannot see what I don't like here... well except maybe dieing. XD
I just want to say: Good job. You made me a happy gamer, I hope this game can teach many other game-makers, that story and evolution of a character can change the whole perspective of any game. I don't plan on making games but who knows, maybe some day. I don't have any knowledge on game-making, but I love to make stories and I hope someday I can build my own games with these stories.

Even though the levels themselves were extremely repetitive and of no challenge until the End of Time, I found myself playing hour after hour just to see the next bit of storyline and cafe discussions. The storyline is brilliant even though the characters are stereotyped, and that's the only aspect that makes this game good. 3/5

Oh gosh, the fact that you can vote for an ending that you unlocked to become canon for the sequel is just brilliant. I just hope people vote for Tessa :o

I fear if I play this game again I will, well what everyone else did when this game ended :'(
but all I wanted to say,can you have an option to have all the endings after getting one or 2?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game was something special, truly well done.. And the story line and concept were just great. The only thing I do mind is the fact that you can not have an ending with all of the girls, I kind of got attached to the one who had herself sacrifised

If you want to call a game an RPG shooter, I would have expected far more choices in the story arc than there are in this game. It would be better to call this a shooter with experience system. As a shooter, the game is pretty easy. As an RPG, it features too much small-talk and too little decision-making. As a whole, it works though, mainly because of the selectable ending. I would never pick a canon one!
Having to beat the final boss over and over to unlock all endings is a bit annoying, but that is just a minor gripe. I enjoyed playing through this game and I was happy to see my personal wish was also available :-)
Definitely a thumbs up for this game, but by reducing superfluous dialogue, you could reduce the amount of work that has to be done for a sequel a great deal, no doubt!
