Enjoyed game immensely. I could rant on about the game but it appears that 95% of the commenters share my thoughts so I won blabber on about how great the story-line was. But instead of making a sequel for the game. Can you make a prequel instead? I think it'd be pretty cool. Starwish makes a comment on how naughty Deuce was in childhood during the special ending. It'd be pretty cool if we could see a part of his naughtiness. Also the dating sim aspect could be incorporated into the prequel as well. Vote of you agree?

This is a beautiful game. The Swig ending it literaly made me tear up a bit... I can't wait to see the others. It was absolutely beautiful. An incredible game all throughout. Thank you for making this. In my opinion it's truly worthy of being made into a real game to be sold.

this game was one fo the best games ive played for a while, im not gonna go all in depth coz there are a lot but i reckon that there should be a health power up in game, health is the only thing you cant restore but other than that, everything was good 5/5

Overall, quite good. Very ambitious for a flash game. Some of the dialogues dragged on. The occasional libertarian political diatribe was a little jarring.
Some obnoxious gameplay mechanics. Background isn't always distinct from obstacles. Enemies that shoot at you from behind and the narrow screen feel more like challenges created by the limitations of game control than clever game design.Boss battles highlight some major annoyances. The laser beams that regularly intersect each other, leaving you unable to run are frustrating. Flooding the screen with spawns in the middle of the boss battle seems like a less than inspired method of ratcheting up difficulty.
But, besides all that, it's very, very good for a flash game not being sold for profit. Excellent and well-presented.

A flash game that can suck me away for a whole day... that's amazing. It struck home that not all games have to have super polished game play if the story is a great caliber. IMHO this game is on par with some of the middle budget games for consoles, go look at Disgaea Infinite for psp. That game is 100% story with less game play than this game.

ah... who ever created this game... if only everyone else would think like you. what a great game/ learning experience in different ways.

I played O so many games
Many were fun and has much not so,
This game was not like any others:
Story was the thing I searched most
And it is story I found in this.
O so many choices for an ending
And there hasn't been any that I disliked.
The gameplay was refreshing
Without being entirely new
And was neither boring
Nor was it repetitive.
Has I played this times and times again,
I have grown to a simple wish:
To give something to the creators,
Something I do not possess
Or know about it,
Because money alone is not enough
To express my joy and happiness
That I found in playing this masterpiece.
I hope for the creaters to have will,
So that they may imagine and create
More games like this
And hope that they will always
Find fulfillment in what they build,
For they deserve the best comments
We, has players, can come up with.
To xdanond,
auriplane,
Wohali,
NOR and
sfxr
I thank you for making me fall in love with video games all over again.

I'm not writing a massive wall of praise for this game (although it truly deserves it), so I'll just leave a suggestion: A special ending triggered by losing to the final boss, how things would've gone and all. It's just really weird being able to return to base after being defeated, given the circumstances...

Wow is all I have to say, the story is engaging, the characters are likable, the battle is...well, I am going to be brutally honest with you here; The combat is exactly like a old GBA game I used to have, called um.. Galactica or something, and...I LOVED IT, I would always play that old game whenever I was bored and THIS, this game is so..Wonderful! It was a joy to experience. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of story based gameplay, like flying to the earthwall to try to prevent it's escape, needing to dodge lasers while fleeing... well I suppose it's best to leave that to just words to tell what happened. I guess I loved this game so much I just wanted more and more from it ^^ Good Job, you deserve a long break for making such an addicting game but I DO Hope you continue to write stories and make games for us, you're so good at it. d of course. Thank you for this wonderful piece of art and explosions.

5/5 but not because its perfect (it's not).
Pros:
- Interesting Story
- Surprisingly good dialogue
- in some cases the dialogue was thought provoking leaving me going "...damn"
- Some great characters
- Enjoyable progression system (it was linear, the leveling up, though it gave the illusion of not being so)
Cons:
- The gameplay itself felt disjointed from the narrative at times
- Repeated level graphics quickly made the 'playing' the game quite dull especially given its length
- Poor level designs and collision detection (that one level towards the end of the game with the blue bars that enemies can fly through and you cannot was TERRIBLE)
Misc
- Specifically the dialogue towards the end got too technical but that is forgiven (esp. since you managed to add humour in just the right places)
- Sequel?
- Loved the Arabian Lore!
- Hilarious.

this could easily be a $30 game, it has all the gameplay and plot, hell it even has more then some of the games out now.

Great game- it's similar to Sigma Star Saga (old GBA game that won a quite a few outstanding awards) except yours is a lot more in depth with traits, and I would even say more depth in character development (comparatively speaking, yours has a lack of non-ship combat and exploration, but yours still somehow is the better contender in my eyes!). Keep up the good work!~ oh, and the storyline was simple, and borderline cliche, but regardless you get a clever point for presentation!

By and far one of the best flash games I've played in a while. The story had me playing mission after mission long after I should have gone to bed just so I could read more of it. I would love to see a sequel but I'm so torn on which ending I like more I don't know which one to vote for yet!

I love the music, the dialogue is engaging and humorous, and the game play is a good blend of classic space shooter and original ideas. The story is compelling; like a good book, the further into the story I progressed, the less I wanted to do anything but finish the story. I am very impressed, and the fact that this is basically a one man project makes it all the more impressive. Well done! 5/5

I wouldn't mind working on something like this, Right now I don't even know how to get making games on here, there is nothing to download or I don't know how to or if they provide anyhting, but I have and RPG that I am working on right now, that is starting paper base.

You need to make a squel and get to indy, and fight to get yourself full blood RPG version of this on a consol or something I only played 10 minutes of it and it would be awsome RPG Concept, I don't remember anything like this on consol and if there is, it out dated and need a waking.

To be honest, the gaming part isn't all that exciting. I completely loved the story however, the characters were complex and interesting and I am really glad you didn't do the "choose one of three answers" thing found in most games like this (Where I usually choose the first two wrong answers and then have to choose the one I didn't want to choose anyways) and instead just let the story run it's course. The gaming part was challenging even on medium (I'm working on the hard one now) but I was able to beat every level so far with small changes in strategy. 5/5 Stars, great job!

@Junkmike
WTF ! are you doing asking for MORE story. this is a game not a damn book. still if it were book(or somthing along the lines) it would be a pretty darn good one.

this game is the best. this game has a focus of each character differance. in a different way of each ending each oe is meaning full then the next... each ending shows a new life of existance of a way that is scarce in more time then one. the sound track of this game shows the right moments. Deadeye's and johnnys end was the two most meaning full however deunce ands tessa's ending was the most thought out and sespectedother than that swigs ending was the least expected.you most find it most promicing to keep clicking continue and deafiting lblis. deafeating lbis is easy but you might wantto use your wave vortex cannon (keypad no.7). this game as meaning full and if you are full of hatred and dislike you best to play this game to better yourself inaa new meaning. - by Christopher Elijah Sunde.....

A truely marvelous game. The time and work you must have put in is overwhelming. I was sucked in the moment I started to play and still can't leave the game after I've beaten it twice, absolutely amazing. Great job, but I fear something. This sets the bar extremely high for future games from you. It's going to be very hard to impress people now. Just keep up the good work and you'll be fine.

This game is a true masterpiece. The user actually becomes involved in the story, and is drawn into the lives of the characters. I kept finding myself wanting to know more, wanting to jump in and yell at the characters what I wanted them to do that they weren't seeing. xdanond, you have done a marvelous job.

Very fascinating game. A little bit difficult to follow at the beginning, because action is long to come, but the end is simply magnificent. Pretty good surprise. To play up to the end. 5/5

This is literally the most epic online game I've ever played. I thought about picking up a new game for the weekend but found this instead, and this was totally better. Kudos to you, sir, for creating a wonderful experience. I can't wait for your next game.
