Meaning I would definitely love a sequel, and I wouldn't mind paying one or two dollars to play the sequel (if you make one), as long as the standards you have set here are at the very lest kept to, if not pushed forward due to a (possibly) larger budget. Meaning I would LOVE to see a longer game with a larger story, better level design (having enemies hiding right behind a wall is EXTREMELY annoying) and more, larger, pilotable ships. Possibly even a fleet to command would be nice.
Thank you.

My only gripe with this game is the second last map (the ice one with the thin walls) is... buggy at times with it's layout, sometimes I would get stuck in a wall, and I'd have to restart the level, rather annoying.
Otherwise, it's a great game that (explores?) a philosophy that has made me think. This philosophy conveys an excellent message making the main gripes I had about this game fade, mixed with an excellent story this is a game I wouldn't mind having to pay one or two dollars for, as long as the level-design was better (I don't mean about the background image vs foreground image, those are fine and the cheapness of it gave me a laugh, but I quickly discarded thoughts about that. what I mean is how the level is layed out, where the enemies come onto screen, oh and a larger enemy variety would be better (djinni/efreet type enemies? of course not the djinni/efreet themselves, but drones tailored to them and art styles tailored to them would be nice).

Sad it is, but I feel it is better for Ginny to die. Even if I wish she lived. I can appreciate proper tragedy too. There are plenty of happy endings to choose if you are into those. And yes, Ginny is my favourite.

Wow!
I love the story... feeling like I am right there fighting for my friends. Thanks for this game and although it took away tons of my time, I am considering the "Plus" round now :)

The only one game i rated 5/5 'till now :) i like the graphics, the story is so absorbing... i thought it was short and easy after some stages instead i soon found it's so full of of other places and difficulty grows with gameplay. Good characters, so much defined and well made music ^__^

I can truthfully say that I am at a loss for words at this game. This game does so much more than other leading games. It gives a strong and compelling story with characters to match. I believe all that I can truly say is bravo for all other words are lost at this masterpiece of a game that I briskly walked through. It gave enough challenge in what I almost considered mini-games to the truly breathtaking story. Won my heart over, won my respect over, won my time over. Thank you. (and if that doesn't sound like the corniest thing ever I don't know what would, but I can't help myself.) =p

You should be snatched up by any huge game company. Simply put, I can tell a lot went into this game for you. Easily better than many, many mainstreamed, large budget blockbuster games. The depth of the story and dialogue is simply amazing. This isn't just a game, but a story that is very well developed and could easily be made into a movie/manga. I... just too many words. Kudos.

Needs another one or two music tracks for the levels, that same repeating song is mind numbing, other than that it's fun enough.

Stylish, classy, great depth and character development. You should be given the rights to make a more in-depth game with different bosses, obstacles, and enemies, on a larger system. Games like this these days lack a lot of what you did by sheer talent.

Probably the best game Ive played on kongregate...
I dont think anything else needs saying.
Oh a strategy guide would be nice...

RPG Shooter: Starwish easily beats the other flash shooters, and is a really unique game. 5/5
I would love it if you would make a sequel, and i'm sure many other people would appreciate it.

Anyone who thinks the save isn't working just look at the updates in the description. It explains why the save sometimes doesn't work.

The ending was truly incredible, it really makes you think about life and what's worth fighting for. It has opened my mind to countless ideas. Thank you

The amount of work put into this game is phenomenal, The RPG element stays fresh because of the different ways to upgrade your ship and the story keeps the gameplay from being monotonous. There are a few things keeping me from giving this a five star rating and that is that some of the events in the story seem too convenient (everyone saying, oh by the way I'm a pirate lord or hey look at me I'm a magical genie) and Ginny's ending doesn't have the depth I was looking for and the number of songs doesn't match up to the length of the game. Despite these criticisms, Starwish is a solid game and most importantly, a fun experience.

Good game! Constructive criticism... I'd rather endure bullet hell than have to face those random vector, instant enemy lasers. Have to get lucky to pass the last boss without a grind. =u=

I had a hard time deciding which was better- Ginny's or Deadeye's endings. Ginny's was bitter-sweet but I think she deserved it after all the self-sacrifice. Dedai's ending was so sweet but I ended up voting for Ginny. I just wish Ginny's ending was... uhmm... better. Q.Q

i cannot find words to describe the level of sheer awesomeness of this game, of course maybe i am just partial to these kinds of games, but this is like an anime with shooter bits for commercials.

Man the concepts of the meaning of life you've put in here are like nothing I've ever seen before in any game, let alone a flash based one.
Kudos for making a game with such a cool story line.

Awesome game! Graphics were top notch, and the characters all had a very deep personality. If I could suggest a few things though, could you:1) Add an auto-fire button and 2) Make the obstacles a bit different from the background. That's really about it. Amazing job! Looking forward to a sequel!

this reminds me of an RPG that i used to play but i forgot the name and that makes me sad because that game was awesome

Played it, kept playing it, never stopped playing it. This game is amazing. The characters are so well developed. I FEEL LIKE I KNOW THEM.

The characters in this game are amazing; they "click" so well, something that you don't even see in a lot of console games.
