a lots of games today will blow your mind away with their gameplay but they will also bore you out super fast with repetitive aspects but this one ...I wont lie Im love this game sure gameplay isnt all that inovative...but holy GEEZUS the story of it just is so devouring it will make you sit through the cutscenes and read it all I feel like reading a good book and Im not much of a reader. Regardless props to xdanond you've managed to create something only few creators managed so far (namely dead frontier series) and thats to make person enjoy the story of the game not just the gameplay and frankly speaking not even commercial games have managed that all that well. Im definitely waiting for the sequel if you are up to it. 5/5 for story alone...game alone cant be measured in rating

What an amazing game! This brought an old school favorite of mine as a kid called Gradius and mixed it with a great story-line and interesting characters. I'd love to see a sequel this one, this has been by far to me at least, one of the best flash games I've played on Kong. This is definitely beyond shadow of doubt a 5/5 star game.

There are many games with good gameplay, but most of them just offer fun until you get bored.. But this game is full of message, you can learn many things from the story that you can apply in real life. Maybe the gameplay isn't very good but the story itself already make this game worth 5/5. Note : Xdanond learn flash programming by himself through tutorial, that's why the gameplay isn't very good. Maybe you can share tips how to make it better than just make a complaint.

The dialogue, plot, etc and all that are fantastic. There's no getting around that. But all the gameplay, like Naraku said, was pointless. You fight repeated bosses in completely irrelevant areas. It's like "Yeah I'll follow the firebolt now", then I eff off to fight the monolith? What the hell?
I love the plot. Your writing skills are clearly phenomenal. But maybe you need a partner to work on the game itself? This isn't an insult, I just figure that with your skills as a writer and someone elses skill's as to how the game should play out, you'd be able to do amazing things :).
All in all, 3/5. Plot was amazing and all, but this IS still a game, and thus a lack of gameplay means a lack of rating.

I voted for "Wish for nothing." SPOILERS:
I mean I thought about it, and he could marry her all super fast like that, but since there is a sequel coming out, I can wait a bit. Also the restoration of the guy's planet is nice and all, but that is abusing the crap out of the star. Also I just liked the ending with no wish. It was simple, summed everything up, and left an open end. Plus a certain someone is introduced that makes that choice just that much more epic. Anyways, thats why I want that choice to become canon.

I honestly can't think of very many distinct words that describe this game, guess using every positive word in the dictionary is okay? Other than that I'm out of ideas. 5/5, Loved it.

Ugh!!! the 'Ginny' ending made me want to cry.... but anyway great game.
I think I already posted here but see, I just got a brainstorm of an idea. Mr game creator? What If, you didn't make a sequal...but instead, made ...different 'viewpoints' of the many many characters in this game? ^^ Ok here's what I mean, I was first very very ticked off that lady Kitsune was killed without even having a portrait, I mean i would of LOVED to play a foxkin. So here's what I am saying, revolving around these game events, past and present, have the player be able to choose not the ending, but the characters, like Kitsune, Neferiti, Swig, Mare, etc. All the characters who have good backstory info and are interesting. You could nix the upgrade path idea for pre installed upgrades aquired based on story progress, in order to save on programing space and because it works out better. So, + if you think my idea is worth looking at and reading plz ^^ I love this game.

Overall game rating
1.plot/dialogue OVERWHELMINGLY WELL DONE AND THOROUGH. Definately the core and most important part of the game
2.aestics/control simple yet gets the job done
3. gameplay, unfortuantely probably the weakest part of the game, while there was a boss at every level they do get repeated.
overall 9/10 if there is a sequel a little bit more polishing on the gameplay will make it a perfect gem of a game

14000+ ratings brotha, i think we need a sequel. I'm not actually done with the game yet but i had to pause momentarily to rate and comment. Amazing game....reminds me of chrono trigger....with space ships =P 5/5 for sure

I just have to say, this is probably the first RPG I ever got so attached to that I played it to the end. It's very well done. 5/5
All I must say is that Dedai was my favorite, although personally I liked her better before her ending. Though I'm not in the mood to try for other endings now, I'm sure I'll come back later for them. PLAY THIS GAME!!!

I love to see a simple shooter game like this turned into something so much more. This was better than most books I've ever read. Each character filled with in depth personalities and a great story as to why they're there and what they want in life, a world so vibrant and creative, and a plot that had me sitting on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. Very well done and I hope to see a sequel. Good job as always. 5/5

@dk123 It is apparently possible to defeat the Firebolt on the first level, just almost impossible.
About this game, simply marvelous. Genious storyline, loved it. This totally deserves to be among top 3 in my opinion :/

I would be interesting if this game had a TV show series to go with it, "I mean its long enough", or make a movie to go with the story line, instead of the TV show series.

So I had a great time with this game, im happy I found it. If I could make one suggestion, can you please make it where you can upgrade the overdrive move? by halfway through the game on hard, it just becomes pretty useless. I mostly ended up using it just for the 3 seconds of invulnerablility

Controlling/Fighting in the game may be easier if you 1turn on auto-fire 2 control with the arrow keys and 3 change weapons and such with the mouse.

@skill34 You know what, if you can play the whole game sticking primarily to the first weapons you get, kudos to you. Because they are meant to be replaced with pretty much anything. Since the machinegun can't really do much in most situations thrown at you. That said, you are crazy.
Also, awesome game. The story, gameplay, the leveling aspect, very close to perfection with this. No complaints.

This game has a problem with to much variety. I usually stick with just my machgun and the Bomb because those are the first weapons I get and were the ones I had been upgrading all this time. Everything else was the equivalent of an ugly sweater your grandmother would make for you that looks like a rainbow barfed on it that you'd wear once so you don't seem unappreciative before donating it.

@stales1: max shield regen & shield mods, use wave gun or other piercing ammo to get through the enemies he spawns, dodge the blue ball shots at all costs, and don't get hit by the big laser beam.
