Really love the game. As countless other people have said, great story, incredible characterization. The combat system is pretty good too. I like that all the weapons are useful in different situations, and that switching between them and using all of them often increases your chances of success. Most shooters I find myself just picking a weapon and sticking with it. I hope you decide to make a sequel. If you do, could I make a few suggestions? Perhaps Q and E could be used to switch to next/previous weapons? I often find myself hunting for the number buttons too much. Overall tho, great game, 5/5

Really a brilliant game! Ive often caught myself just skipping through the boring dialog of some games but this one is different, the story telling the extensive character building, its really caught me and im reading everything for once! The music really goes well with the game, some moments where the music got dramatic really gripped me, i loved it. And ofc the RPG system is pretty solid for a shooter, more elaborate then most ive seen, simply adding dex str or vit is out of the question cus each stat gives several bonuses so ive had to really decide this time where to put my points in. A job well done! 5/5, loving it.

FOR EVERYONE!!! always check the levels of the weapons before buying. i bought a lvl 10 machine gun. then i saw the lvl 11. i was pissed.

i started off playing it just for shooting stuff and getting upgrades, but i actually kept playing it just for the story. surprisingly great. 5/5

This game can't be rated 6/5 unless it gets a download version so people can USB transfer it to a notepad computer/Ipad and play offline.

Amazing game; really, what an intuitive mix of many elements done so well. A successful adventure to say the least, this is great in every way - from Gameplay to Characters to Music as well as art. Well done, indeed.
Pity that there was no Cafe / Relationship guide, however, as I found it difficult to do so, other than Deadeye, who always seemed to be there as I blasted things into space. Hmm...
in any case, I utilized a Max Int and High Luck build, with Explosive Crit., Rapid Reload, Demolitions, Power Crit., and Defensive Shielding. It worked pretty well; even on hard.

I'm about five 'days' in, and I feel deep connections with most of the characters already. The gameplay itself is really fun, but I wouldn't care if it wasn't simply because of the story and characters. Gosh, I love them...
6/5. This is more than an excellent game. It uses an excellent game as the vehicle to deliver something so much more than that.

Oh my god, a dating sim that can keep my attention! Awesome! :3 5/5, good story, good game, Combats not incredibly original, but well produced, enjoyable variety in weapons. Keep up the good work!

sometimes if you crash into a vertical surface you just suddenly die for no reason...and no, i'm not talking about when the screen catches up, nor is my health anywhere near low.

Could we have Shift activate overdrive instead of O? "O" is so small and out of the way that I have to take my hand off of the WASD/Arrow Keys just to use it. Or, have Shift be fire and Space be Overdrive.

This game is beyond amazing. I love it more than any game I've played. It has great depth and character development the storyline is simply fantastic and I would LOVE to have another of these. if I could go above 5 stars, there is no number high enough to how many stars I would give this game.

3 effing mins. thats how long it took me to be utterly addicted to this game. On the other hand though i do have a complaint but not towards the developer of said epic game, but towards the site. you see 9/10 times i visit here to kill time i always find a epic game that after finishing and lean back in chair to nurse my sore hands, i muse over how many games this epic in all ways, have made it at least one console, if DLC even. But sadly i count the ones that stood out on one hand. So in retrospect games like this one as are most of the games on this site require more than a 5/5. I believe at least a 10/10 would do games like this more justice than 5/5.

One thing i didnt really like, although its never a very big thing, is that boss ships can start firing and harm you before they are all the way on the screen, and you cant harm them before they get all the way on the screen and their health bar appears, but everything else was gre, 5/5

When a flash game prompts me to say "I want to see this as an one season animated show, or at the very least as a movie!" Then the game is good. Props to ya, this is amazing stuff and has had me enthralled since the beginning, and it makes me wish I had some spare cash to tip with! Also... I WANT to see this as an one season animated show, or at the very least as a movie!!

I very rarely give games a rating of 5. When I am impressed by the gameplay alone, I give a 4, but this, this is impressive in so many ways. A flash game with a story like this is very rare. Great job. 5/5

This was all round an amazing game. Well done. And what's strange is, this is the only game i have played on kongregate that while i was playing it i felt wrong for playing it for free. I feel like i owe you money lol.

Wonderful. A game that combines the great gameplay of R-Type or Gradius, with the additional depth of a development system. Most importantly, though, it had a storyline in which I was actually drawn to care about the characters. This is something that almost every game lacks these days, which makes them pale in comparison to the great RPG's of a decade or two ago. This game rekindles the element that makes RPG's their best - the element that makes video games worth playing - an unforgettable dialog with characters that are interesting and which have depth. The story is professional-grade. Thanks for the experience! 5/5
