Okay.. What the hell. I just finished this game on hard, just to get a special ending.. Well, guess what. I didnt get one. Instead of giving me an minus (-), could someone tell me what I did wrong, because I wasted another 4-5 hours of my day playing this.

There's another way to fix the game not saving. Right-click on the game then click settings. Change the amount of information chat.kongregate can store to at least 1mb. I say 1mb because currently the amount being stored on my computer is at 209kb and there's no option below 1mb that's above 209kb.

Woohoo! Finally got achievement 11: See all the endings. Man, I feel terrible picking Ginny's ending, but worse not picking it. Characters get screwed either way.

I was lucky and my save worked at the last battle so I can get the endings quickly! But I don't dare go through all the endings too quickly for fear of an overload of awesomeness.......but I can't wait to find out how they all go.....aaahh what to do??

The loading screen finally makes sense after playing through the game...haha! Starting round 2 through this game now, I can't tear myself away! This reminds me of the feeling I got playing Final Fantasy....

The combat got a tad repetitive by the end of the game, but I still gave it 5 stars. An amazing story with beautiful music and a tearjerker of an ending (deadeye), really got me caring for the characters as opposed to some RPG games. THIS NEEDS A SEQUEL.

I was at the Forbidden City stage before I realized that you can spend points on the status screen...this game just got a WHOLE lot easier! haha

Man, while the shooting part can get repetitive, the story line is just ... holy crap. I got the ending where Deuce wished for nothing.. and later met up with the human Star. He didn't get Tessa and Ginny died ;_; I need to find the other endings! I played this on Hard.. and boy.. it was hard. I don't know what the other endings are like.. but wouldn't it be impossible to make a sequel?

*spoiler* There's a little plot hole: if you focus on Swig in the Cafe and talk to him at every opportunity you have, Deuce casually mentions him having the last Star Fragment... before Swig actually tells him he has the Fragment in a cutscene.

holy crap! I never comment in any game, but this one.. this one really got me.
I never thought that a game could make me feel such empathy for it. I was really cheering for the characters and always curious for the next step in the story. I think the actual game became a subplot. Anyway, 5/5, although I would really appreciate a little improvement in the shooting part in the sequel. Thanks for this amazing experience xdanond.

I wasn't planning on leaving a comment, but after seeing the ending, I just had to add my view. I am sure, though, that this comment will be lost among the hordes of comments remarking on how amazing this game is. Anyway, after finishing this game, I couldn't help but feel happy. The pure beauty this story has in it's morale is just outstanding, I can't help but feel remorse for not being able to continue this story, this is why, I rate your game a 5/5 and I beg of you to write a sequel.

Ten minutes of clicking and one minute of gameplay. I appreciate that you are trying to make a visual novel, but with a name like RPG Shooter, I'm expecting more of the action side, and less of the sitting through dialog pressing one button part. If the characters and plot wasn't so cliche, I might enjoy reading the way too long and detailed dialog. The game takes five screens to tell what two could.

I wrote an extremely long comment dedicated to praising your amazing skills and thanking you.
It was too long, so I summerized it into the shortest amount of words I think are needed to express my feelings.
xdanond, I love you.

I agree with the other people, this is one of the best games on Kongregate. It's not incredibly focused on gameplay, but it has an awesome story and soundtrack to back it up. Overall, 5/5.

My only complaint- and it's minor, still a 5/5 game- is that on some of the levels the background images are a little too distracting. It's sometimes hard to see what is just wallpaper and what are obstacles that will hurt you, and sometimes- especially in the forest stage- the amount of enemies (with green health bars), projectiles plus the detailed photographic background are a little much for at one time. If you do make a sequel, I'd suggest keeping the background simpler. But other than that, honestly a phenomenal game. Glad it got made, and glad it is getting as popular as it is. It deserves it.

Its a very good game, and its backed up by a great story, although I feel like this could be a shortcoming. While the gameplay is fun, occasionally in the later areas, where you may have to repeat a stage many times, it becomes somewhat tedious. And while I found the story to be good, near the end, I found it odd that there seemed to be a plot twist after every mission, which mucks up the story. Still a good game, And i'd still of course give it a 4/5.

I loved the game, definitely worth 5 stars, but it repeats itself too often, that however, is decisively countered by the story.

I will wait for a full release on console / PC. All I can say is the story is very touching, simple yet epic. 15 stars out 5. Just great. I'm speechless.
