This is way Better than Dragon Age 2.Expected generic shooter with story got generic shooter with a story that could rival star ocean.

This game reminds me of a PS2 game called Ar Tonelico. Other than the fighting is a side-scrolling shooter instead of a conventional RPG, it's elements, like anime visuals, odd characters, and humorous dialog are on par with it. Great game! 5/5

A very interesting game. I must say I got bored quite quickly and skipped some dialogue on my first try. Second try, cup of coffee, reading all the dialogue got me into the story a lot better. Finished it straight that time, didn't unlock all the endings though. The game itself is a little repetetive to try it over and over for the seperate endings, and I have no clue what the achievements are yet. All in all I gave it a 5/5 for compelling story :D

Get to level 140 with maxed out int and def, put all 240 mods into shields, start final battle, place paperweight on spacebar, come back to see if you won yet.

As great as the story was, I still feel that it was overly long with not enough of the actual combat bits. Also, some of the weapon types were clearly underpowered. Once I had the wave gun and the scatter missiles I didn't use anything else. The "chain" gun didn't do enough damage to even compete at the stage in the game that you get it (not even after its upgraded to an equivalent level) or have enough range. Scatter missiles were likewise super powered because when you get the x2 missiles, its the only missile type that doesn't send half of them behind you.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. I am dead serious. The storyline was magnificent and the best I've seen of any RPG (I didn't mind the long dialogue). The difficulty curve is one of the most balanced I've seen in any flash game, and though the shooting part of the game wasn't anything new, I actually had to strategize on a few levels to achieve my goals. This is worth a 5/5. I will never regret that decision, and I hope to see a second, if the developer doesn't mind :)

This game is great. The story made me play the game from start to finish without taking even a single break, dialogs are deep and touching, and in addition to that the fighting part is really decent. I am 100% sure this game could win the monthly prize, but it simply appeared at wrong time, challenging learn to fly 2 is simply too hard, because there is still a lot of people that doesn't care about the story, just the game play.

I absolutely loved the game! I gave it a 5/5. The story is the best I've seen in a flash game and it's better than some actually video-games' storylines too. The characters are beautifully drawn and the weapon progression is great. The scenery while battling is my only gripe as it doesn't mesh very good and ruins immersion. Other than that this an absolutely perfect game and I'm sure I'm speaking for most people when I say that we would love a sequel.

This game is just amazing. I mean, this whole story. You prob really had a hard work creating it all, for sure... I'm usually a strong guy, but I'm afraid of telling you that this game made me cry. I read the whole story, since the beggining. Even restarted the game to correcly understand what happened in some parts. Thank you, xdanond.

The starting screen really put me off, but the actual story and gameplay made up for it ^^
If you make a sequel (hopefully you do!) It would be best if you put more effort into a more sophisticated start up screen.

For people who are trying to kill the final boss, you can fly through his lazers BUT if you stand still his lazers can hit you. Thumbs up so everyone can see the message!

Reasons to use the special ending as the cannon..
1) It will create no haters. Other endings, especially ones where Deuce ends up with one girl or another, would probably make many people angry. People will be saying, 'Why did he end up with HER, I wanted THIS to happen, I never liked that ending in the first place, this game is stupid, ect. ect.
2) Deuce is still single in the'special ending. I think that is a big thing, because if he is already taken in the sequel, it wont be able to have that fun little dating sim-like side that made this game so much fun.
3) OPTIONS! Oh the options! With most of the other endings, the future for Deuce is kind of planned out. But in the special ending, the only limitation is that they have to start out on Bamboo! Anything else is open for interpretation! There are so many options to how a sequel could go with the special ending!
There are many others that I just couldn't fit in 1k letters, like Ginny's life. But Thumbs Up if you agree with me!

This game was amazing, music was well placed. Storyline was very well done and definitely captured those that played. Well done and I'll look forward to anything else you create.

Some amazing quotes in the game especially at the end where it was soemthing like 'so make your life a good one. No. Make it a great one.' THE END. Wooo. Beautiful story man. I would've gladly payed money for this. I support you fully and if you make a sequel I will be forever in your debt! :) congrats on a great game!

I've never left a comment on a game before. I've played three or four hundred games in my life and feel Starwish is such a high quality story that it warrants my first time commenting on something publicly. It is a life enriching story and an actual honor to have played it without paying for it. I have never played a free game of this quality before and probably never will again. I'm the kind of person who only looks for faults in others, looking past positive characteristics and behavior and so praise isn't in my character, this is a singular exception. Thank you, Xdanond, whoever you are, sincerely.

It takes a lot to bring me close to shedding a tear. To avoid posting a spoiler, I'll just say that I hope they at least got to sample some of that "fine bottle". Beautifully written :)

Other than the one time data loss my complaints about this game are minimal. The biggest problem I had with it was when you'd push yourself against a piece of land, with plenty of time before the map crushes you, and you have almost all your shield and you just... explode. That's the only thing you really need to work on if you do a second one. Besides that, this game was amazing. Not only was it a rather large game, which I enjoy, but the story was phenomenal. And the endings were quite touching. If there were a higher rating, I would give it. As it is 5/5 Keep up the amazing work.

This is the stuff of legends... on par with the quality of Daniel Remar's Iji. The story leaves little to no plotholes and explains things that were mentioned in the beginning of the game. Plot twists at the endgame were completely unexpected and the game is the right balance of hard (i played on Hard Mode from the start.) The characters were easy to get attached to and the music is VERY well done.
My only gripe is i wish the level design was more varied..perhaps vertical stages or a mix of both Horizontal+Verticle. This is a game that has quality and effort put into it and is a shining example of what "professionals" in the industry should try to do in their work.
Great Game xdanond. ^_^
