Tip on defeating the Iblis: Locate yourself near the center of the screen and shoot sawmines at him. The sawmines are the deadliest weapon for bosses, because before they reverb back, they pause in one spot for a full second, causing massive damage. Once he shoots the big laser, switch to the spread, and stay at the top. Then switch to sawmines until you see the laser again. Repeat this process.

I was almost finished with the game on easy, right at the boss level then i said "Screw this i want the special ending!!!" So i clicked on confirm hard and started redoing EVERYTHING. WHICH IS GREAT!!! I LOVE IT!!! MAKE A SEQUEL!!!!

I never wrote a comment to a game i was playing on kongregate and this comment might be the first and only....I love this game. I just destroyed the Earthwall but I still love this game. When...*SPOILER INCOMING*...when Oracle died I was about to cry. The characters are so wonderful. Please, make a sequel. And another one. And another one. You're too awesome.

Finaly beated. xD The game is nice, balanced, challange, fun and have a nice history. But...the graphics see strange for my, our ship is medium-detailhed and the background look like a quality photo. And some times when we hit a wall, we can´t move anymore and loose lots hp to death, without can do anythink. After some levels I get bored, playng more to the history, the game have a continuous challange, but the enemys and bosses is aways the same. Whait for a sequel debugued and with more enemys xD Sorry my bad english.

Wow, its games like these that keep me coming back to Kongregate. I was almost shocked that a flash game could reach this kind of potential in story, characters, combat, its soundtrack and every other aspect of the game. I was surprised how much I got into the game and its characters. Kind of like OseronPhaer's comment, it was like reading a really good book and after I beat it I had trouble getting away from it. I could even say that it beat out some legit console games. Starwish is five out of five for me and I could just keep writing about it all day. Good work! :D

Some Iblis tips for the guys who get lost there… Have a good shield. There is absolutely NO WAY you're going to make it WITHOUT being hit, and when you're hit, it's gonna be hard. Second, when you have a shield value of 1k, and have a good shield regeneration rate, Feel free to take laser hits more often. Your shield will absorb, and your overdrive will go up faster, which brings me to the last point… When you can use overdrive, USE IT! The large amount of damage and the few seconds of invulnerability is priceless. :D

tune, The secret ending involves getting the optimal relationship with everyone. So, if I missed a day with deadeye, I probably won't be getting it. >.<

Jed: Deadeye's isn't the secret ending; you have to play through on hard mode to unlock Neferiti's. Note: talk to her every chance you get in order to unlock it.

??? I was trying to get the Secret ending, but on the 15th day, Deadeye was missing, even though she was supposed to be there.. So, I prepared myself for the grindfest, and got all my weapons to level 30… And she STILL WASN'T THERE!!!! O.o Did I do something wrong? Glitch? A curse of Fate? D:

I MUST HAZ GINNY ENDING! Seriously bro! I gotta have that one and now i gotta start the whole dang game over again. -sighs- Here we go agian. One last time. I know what I'll be doing for the rremainder of the month probably. Im gonna do it on hard and I wish there was a legendary mode. Or atleast a mode harder than hard. I mean playing it on a challenging difficulty is pretty fun.

Always talk to Ginny on the first day. 2. Always talk to Ginny and Mare when you get the chance, but don't talk to both of them in the same day. This will result in one day without anyone to talk to. 3. When Ginny dies, talk to Neferiti every day.

Having just beaten the game twice, and the first time having to redo from start. I craved the game so much, To see the endings, To see all the wonderful dialog. All the surprises. It even hurt me sometimes to see someone insult the game. This for me is THE BEST FLASH GAME i have ever played. I would find it difficult to make a sequel, but it is certainly what i want. To any new persons, Beat the game, its worth it to see everything. Every ending was good. Brought tears, brought smiles to me. Im not happy that all of em were happy, but i knew it was coming. All in all, if i could change the game in any way, id just make iblis lil easier, JEEZ>.... Well.. on hard mose :P . Kidding . IT needs no improvisations. And i cant wait to see what ending you finish on. Took me 34 times to beat iblis, then i said screw it and went and killed till i got to level 72. Then it was still so hard...
But bearable...

Even though i haven't beat the game, i think this games deserves a great chance to be made in to a console game. It has a great story to it, awesome characters, and is also gives you the feeling of finishing a great book because of the great dialogue it has in it. Even though its just a side scrolling shooter i think it's great. PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!!!!!!!!!!!

Jako, I agree with you. Anyways, Having finished the game, I discovered just how glitchy New Game + Is. After starting a new game, (Not +), I tried to get Ginny's ending. After having died, I refreshed, and tried to do it with +. Surprisingly… the amount of cycles was 69. O.O

There should be more games like this focusing on storyline than graphics or action. Because all people mostly play anymore is shooters like Battlefield, CoD, etc. that have a story mode that is short or doesn't make sense. And then the main meat of the game is multiplayer.

I got to the final boss only to realize I hadn't used ANY skill points yet. 335 points later I beat the game haha. Other than my fail (win?) this was an ingenious game. The characters were not cliche nor was the overused RPG storyline used (a mysterious girl washes up on shore with no memory ect.ect.). BIG kudos, this really deserves some form of sequel, either following the same characters or another group. All in all, great job! :)

Yup, it is possible to beat the Firebolt at the beginning, I did it, but it's hard even with a New game +. It doesn't really change anything in the story itslef, but I think it's fundamental to beat it, if you're aiming to get the Ginny and special endings. You also get a game achievement.

SirDurant, I think MAYBE possible… If you are lucky, and an epic dodger… If you do, I know you get the Time Paradox achievement. :D But… Since I haven't done it myself, I'm not sure.

i hate when it ends, it's like a good book that ends it's like you have nothing for 2-3 seconds when returning to the real world, and you are still in heaven :3, but i want to keep going in the history lol.
but there one thing we can hope for to follow the history: WAIT FOR A SEQUEL. hope it's comming soon.
