I'm sorry, but I have to say it - there's a difference between having a story and having *too much* story. When the between-stage dialogue is almost as long as the entire previous stage with constant clicking (not even bothering to read it), then there's something wrong. It might be a great story, but I'll never know because someone apparently wanted to write a weeaboo novel and stick it into their game.

A nice game, I've enjoyed playing it. Though I'll "rate" certain points, hoping the Developer(s) see this :
- The Characters (5/5) : Greatly forged, fun to talk with them on the Cafe, intriguing. Nothing to say about it.
- The Story (4/5) : A great story I have to say, but it has too much sudden happenings. TOO much.
- Tactic (3/5) : I'd give this a three. Battles against bosses are just, too, generic. In the last area, you just got to choose the right weapon... Not the best tactic-needing game out there.
Overall, this'll have 4/5 : Very good.
Congratulations to the Developer(s).
Greetings,

The save data note SHOULD HAVE been put IN THE GAME. I never scroll down to read these things. And worse, this is an assanine way to save your game. Please fix this. It's hugely unintuitive. I've now lost hours of play.

What makes this game great is the great elements of the story, game play, visuals, and music. It all bought it together in a nice balance. Whoever created and thought out the story must've taken a while to set the whole reality. Excellent and creative. 5/5

This game beats 219312513 3d games out there. It's EPIC. Loved the writing, the characters and the story. Actually I loved this whole game. If this would've been a 3d game it would remain known as one of the best games ever in my opinion. Classics just like Kotor.

Awesome game! My sole complaint is that we can't vote for the standard ending or the Special ending, which were my two favorites ); You can get the Special ending by unlocking all of the character endings in a single play-through (including Nef's, which means playing on hard) then choosing the "No Wish" option at the end.

Sad as f***. but awesome all the same. It seems some endings have chances for better sequels than others? Why didn't the star bring Ginny to Deuce instead of Deuce to Ginny? Anyways good game.

My ending didn't address my biggest question from the story: What's a laser chicken, and what are they doing hanging out in the cafeteria?

like if you agree so they can see!!!
they should make a cade for every level you beat so thy wont have problems with save data.

Im stunned... At first i was thinking this game has too much talking etc.. BUT!! The story is amazing. Especially the ending! I loved it so much. This is a really amazing experience to enjoy and I really must say that the atmosphere you manage to make in this game is absolutely amazing! Very good job on this game. 1000/5 from me.

What a game, I was sucked in by the gameplay and brilliant storyline and even tried to finish it in one night, staying up till half 2 a.m. and having died half a dozen times against Iblis i decided to wait to the morning... Brilliant game

Well worth the time I took out to finish this game! Personally I wouldn't have called it a dating sim, but I guess there are elements of that. An easy 5/5 for this, and you can bet I'll play a sequel if it comes. Keep up the amazing work.

Enjoyed game immensely. I could rant on about the game but it appears that 95% of the commenters share my thoughts so I won blabber on about how great the story-line was. But instead of making a sequel for the game. Can you make a prequel instead? I think it'd be pretty cool. Starwish makes a comment on how naughty Deuce was in childhood during the special ending. It'd be pretty cool if we could see a part of his naughtiness. Also the dating sim aspect could be incorporated into the prequel as well. Vote of you agree?

This is a beautiful game. The Swig ending it literaly made me tear up a bit... I can't wait to see the others. It was absolutely beautiful. An incredible game all throughout. Thank you for making this. In my opinion it's truly worthy of being made into a real game to be sold.

this game was one fo the best games ive played for a while, im not gonna go all in depth coz there are a lot but i reckon that there should be a health power up in game, health is the only thing you cant restore but other than that, everything was good 5/5

Overall, quite good. Very ambitious for a flash game. Some of the dialogues dragged on. The occasional libertarian political diatribe was a little jarring.
Some obnoxious gameplay mechanics. Background isn't always distinct from obstacles. Enemies that shoot at you from behind and the narrow screen feel more like challenges created by the limitations of game control than clever game design.Boss battles highlight some major annoyances. The laser beams that regularly intersect each other, leaving you unable to run are frustrating. Flooding the screen with spawns in the middle of the boss battle seems like a less than inspired method of ratcheting up difficulty.
But, besides all that, it's very, very good for a flash game not being sold for profit. Excellent and well-presented.

A flash game that can suck me away for a whole day... that's amazing. It struck home that not all games have to have super polished game play if the story is a great caliber. IMHO this game is on par with some of the middle budget games for consoles, go look at Disgaea Infinite for psp. That game is 100% story with less game play than this game.

ah... who ever created this game... if only everyone else would think like you. what a great game/ learning experience in different ways.

I played O so many games
Many were fun and has much not so,
This game was not like any others:
Story was the thing I searched most
And it is story I found in this.
O so many choices for an ending
And there hasn't been any that I disliked.
The gameplay was refreshing
Without being entirely new
And was neither boring
Nor was it repetitive.
Has I played this times and times again,
I have grown to a simple wish:
To give something to the creators,
Something I do not possess
Or know about it,
Because money alone is not enough
To express my joy and happiness
That I found in playing this masterpiece.
I hope for the creaters to have will,
So that they may imagine and create
More games like this
And hope that they will always
Find fulfillment in what they build,
For they deserve the best comments
We, has players, can come up with.
To xdanond,

I thank you for making me fall in love with video games all over again.

I'm not writing a massive wall of praise for this game (although it truly deserves it), so I'll just leave a suggestion: A special ending triggered by losing to the final boss, how things would've gone and all. It's just really weird being able to return to base after being defeated, given the circumstances...

Wow is all I have to say, the story is engaging, the characters are likable, the battle is...well, I am going to be brutally honest with you here; The combat is exactly like a old GBA game I used to have, called um.. Galactica or something, and...I LOVED IT, I would always play that old game whenever I was bored and THIS, this game is so..Wonderful! It was a joy to experience. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of story based gameplay, like flying to the earthwall to try to prevent it's escape, needing to dodge lasers while fleeing... well I suppose it's best to leave that to just words to tell what happened. I guess I loved this game so much I just wanted more and more from it ^^ Good Job, you deserve a long break for making such an addicting game but I DO Hope you continue to write stories and make games for us, you're so good at it. d of course. Thank you for this wonderful piece of art and explosions.

5/5 but not because its perfect (it's not).
Pros:
- Interesting Story
- Surprisingly good dialogue
- in some cases the dialogue was thought provoking leaving me going "...damn"
- Some great characters
- Enjoyable progression system (it was linear, the leveling up, though it gave the illusion of not being so)
Cons:
- The gameplay itself felt disjointed from the narrative at times
- Repeated level graphics quickly made the 'playing' the game quite dull especially given its length
- Poor level designs and collision detection (that one level towards the end of the game with the blue bars that enemies can fly through and you cannot was TERRIBLE)
Misc
- Specifically the dialogue towards the end got too technical but that is forgiven (esp. since you managed to add humour in just the right places)
- Sequel?
- Loved the Arabian Lore!
- Hilarious.

this could easily be a $30 game, it has all the gameplay and plot, hell it even has more then some of the games out now.
