This game is just absolutely amazing. This story and idea quality is better than 90% of the RPGs out on todays consoles. If this game was redone by Square Enix,had voice acting and console graphics it would be one of the best games out there. Truly a great job. You harnessed everything a great game is meant to be. I will be waiting for a sequel

the story is awesome, best story in a game ever (which i keep forgetting its a game) You get so involved in the game...10 minutes later...oh yeah...theres a game tied in to this... the actual shooting flying game part isnt all that good, but the story makes up for it 200%! i just go through the missions for the story!

I was entranced by the story, for the first time in years i shed tears for a game, i sobbed like an orphaned child, i felt sad and that is something that i missed from games. The fact that i cant hate anyone, yes the story line was cheesy but i loved it, and loved the efreeti ending, just to see djinni(sob*)... it's been three days, i missed school and life, but it was worth it.
The gameplay itself did't get old that quick, and the music kept it all alive, i would like an sequal but only if its able to flow with the storyline, the thing that most provoked me to keep playing, to see what was going to happen next, or in hopes to see her* again.. i wasn't exaggerating about crying though, it did get that reaction from me and i thank you for that. Also the word choice was nice, it made me have to think, and did like the amusing banter.

This game = imagination, sci-fi, fantasy, complex characters and story-line, and perfection.
In my unprofessional opinion, this is one of the few "Perfect" games. 5\5

I love this game and everything in it. I always managed to play shooter games and some of them are quite good, but none goes anywhere closer to this. I love the story, I love the characters, I really cannot see what I don't like here... well except maybe dieing. XD
I just want to say: Good job. You made me a happy gamer, I hope this game can teach many other game-makers, that story and evolution of a character can change the whole perspective of any game. I don't plan on making games but who knows, maybe some day. I don't have any knowledge on game-making, but I love to make stories and I hope someday I can build my own games with these stories.

Even though the levels themselves were extremely repetitive and of no challenge until the End of Time, I found myself playing hour after hour just to see the next bit of storyline and cafe discussions. The storyline is brilliant even though the characters are stereotyped, and that's the only aspect that makes this game good. 3/5

Oh gosh, the fact that you can vote for an ending that you unlocked to become canon for the sequel is just brilliant. I just hope people vote for Tessa :o

This game was something special, truly well done.. And the story line and concept were just great. The only thing I do mind is the fact that you can not have an ending with all of the girls, I kind of got attached to the one who had herself sacrifised

If you want to call a game an RPG shooter, I would have expected far more choices in the story arc than there are in this game. It would be better to call this a shooter with experience system. As a shooter, the game is pretty easy. As an RPG, it features too much small-talk and too little decision-making. As a whole, it works though, mainly because of the selectable ending. I would never pick a canon one!
Having to beat the final boss over and over to unlock all endings is a bit annoying, but that is just a minor gripe. I enjoyed playing through this game and I was happy to see my personal wish was also available :-)
Definitely a thumbs up for this game, but by reducing superfluous dialogue, you could reduce the amount of work that has to be done for a sequel a great deal, no doubt!

great game, amazing story, addicting gameplay, could use a bit more backstory to the universe. It would also be cool if there were some parts where you could play as duece out of his cockpit fighting Fed soldiers.

I really like this game, like everyone else here. Now I'm wondering if you'll improve the graphics for higher-res art in a sequel or something. Having to zoom in a small screen at 1920x1080 is kind of a pain.

To be honest, I originally launched this game just looking to grab another badge and what I found was a gem among games. I played this game pretty much non-stop simply for the story and the ship battles werent too bad either. Great job, excellent story, some parts made me laugh and others made me sad. I wont forget this game, 5 stars.

a suggestion would be adding a password system for levels so you dont have to start at level 1 again for the game...as in i beat world (put world here) so if i would have a password that would unlock to that level, so we dont repeat the story

To be honest, if this game had been developed for PS1 a few years earlier, this would've been easily been my most favorite game ever - even before Grandia and Legends of Dragoon.

Really a fantastic game. At the start it gave me the feeling of watching the show Firefly and at the end it gave me the satisfaction that I believe continued seasons of Firefly would have. Thank you for your effort

This is... the best story i ever read... this game is just to... It was impossible to me to stop playing this game... Man it's so a good story... The thing i most like in video games is the story. I played many games in my life man and this is the best story i read... It was like a book. Really, I have one thing to say to the RPG Shooter Starwish team: Best game i ever played! It was like reading a book. I lend some tears sometimes... Thank you guys! Thank you!

5/5 but why are enemies immune to damage from asteroids? If they can pass through, I should be able to shoot through walls.

Good job on the improvement patches. I played this the day it came out, beat it, then took a break till today. First thing that happened...Me: "Holy cow, there's an autofire? SWEET now I don't have to use the scientific method to know what the stats I throw hard earned points at actually do! Omg, double click OD..." Kid in a candy store. Not only can you make a kickass game, the best of it's genre; you know how to listen to your fan base and how to choose the correct suggestions. Big thumbs up, all over again...excuse me while I go find extreme mode. Thumbs up to let 'em know they're continuing to dish out the epic factor, guys

This is seriously the most entertaining game I played for a while... And I don't mean free games on the internet, just games in general. It reminds me of bioware stuff a lot, the same fun the dialogs and following the plot, just in casual version. :)

This game is horrible. Screw the dialogue, it sounds like one of those science fiction novels that sells about 6 copies. Gameplay is repetitive, good God this game is just so unbelievably bad. One of the worst games on Kongregate. This game should not be under the shooter section, it should be under the "Garbage" section.

FOR ONCE someone has made an rpg shooter that IS epic, though i found it abit disappointing that the bosses repeat, but this is a damn good rpg...an rpg that actually has a *STORY* (gasp...i though those went extinct) you deserve a prize or sth for making this game because its that good

Too much talking right off the bat. It's also rather cliche anime stuff. I know you want a compelling story, but I don't need it all forced down my throat in the first few seconds.
