this was truly a great game, fun gameplay, great story, beautiful music (5/5). The only negative glitch i found was beeing stuck in a wall and dying cus i got dragged offscreen once. it was on the map with sprial mushrooms.

I love the part where enemies pass straight through scenery and I don't. Oh, and the bit where I get "mission failed" when I have full health and half shield because of 'invisible' scenery. Green damaging scenery on a green midground and a green background + colorblindness = impossible game.

the gameplay is fairly subpar, beyond the characters the art could have used a bit of work, overall, things can be improved on greatly. but i begrudgingly played through every damn level just to find out what happened next. the story alone had me playing from start to finish. change the game, but please please PLEASE continue the story!

Dont you think the bosses just running you over is kinda lame. Its basicly just a damage race since you can dodge thier entire body.

Amazing little game with a very cool storyline, i love it ! Characters are nice, and the musics are quite relaxing, specially Ginny/Serenity ones.
Gave it a 5 stars rate !

I appreciate the energy and time that went into writing the dialogues. Everything else, however, is based on a really tired formula. Boring waves of enemies and recycled bosses become so repetitive that even the characters note the tedium with a "Another area cleared". The game would have been great had it been half or even a quarter of its length. Only played it through for the badge. The story is not innovative but it's O.K. The gameplay, however, is enough to bore you stiff. Is Iblis cannibalized from QFG 2? The final sequence also reminded me of the Avoozl vs. Erana deal.

My single issue is this; you reused all the bosses TWICE. My greatest glee in this game was to play each level and face a new boss...until suddenly there were no new bosses. And then there were no new bosses AGAIN. I mean, I guess I can kinda understand; it's difficult to make an entirely new boss every level. But I think it'd have been better to release the game in three parts, each with their own ACTUAL INDIVIDUAL LEVELS then pull the kind of Korean MMO bullshit that you did.

A very funny game with nice gameplay, but i gotta say, the story arent that great. But thats no big deal, i dont think flash games on kongregate need a great story. A lot of games have a better story than this, so stop talking about the story is the best story ever, because its not.

One of the few games that has a deep meaning to it. At first, I found all the dialogue to be a bother, but as it progressed, I urged for it. The bonds one can feel for virtual representations are astounding. Even at the start, it has you beginning to look within yourself, and it continues that throughout the game. Enough to make you come to realizations, but not enough for you to get bored of it. A masterpiece, and in my humble opinion, the story line should be considered the most heartfelt and purest form of art. The use and style of music is astounding, and has emotion, changing the player's feelings, and paired with the game... simply amazing.

i was slightly interested but some of the charecter backgrounds seem almost stripped from mass effect (star exploding without warning and far larger than it shoulda been first to come to mind) and no explanation of what the stats do -.-

@Aveira I was thinking the same thing. While I gave the game 5/5 there was a bit too much dialogue but that is a personal view and one not held by most people here. I voted up a comment that was getting voted down purely because it detailed why that person did not enjoy the game. I think any good game creator (xdanond) is probably as interested in constructive criticism as they are the positive. It is subjective what makes a game good/bad so respect for either feedback aught to be respected.

I think the game would have been a lot more enjoyable if I could set it where Snail could follow my mouse cursor.. I found it hard to dodge multiple bullets because I couldn't tell Deuce to move a tad to the left instead of a hundred miles THAT WAY. I think dodging is going between two bullets, not dodging a bullet, pointing at it yelling out 'HAH! I HAVE CONQUERED ZED PLASMA PROJECTILE!' only to crash into another ship which happened to fly straight over you. I still thought it was a superb game however. 5/5 -^^- I await your sequel!

I'm not sure why everyone always rates down people who happen to dislike the game. Yes, it is a lot of dialogue. No, it isn't perfect. It's okay to say you don't like the game, as long as your respectful about it. So why does everyone get their panties in a twist whenever someone points out why they dislike the game? It makes it impossible to get a balanced opinion rating.

The only bad thing about the game is the controls. It doesn't really become noticeable until world 3, every time you move the ship jerks a little bit and it always moves a certain amount making it near impossible to make dodging become more than anything than luck. The stage where the controls become a real issue is The Remains of Lucerna, not only do you have waves and wavers of bullets you have to dodge but you have to make sharp turns and you have to maneuver through asteroids that you have to hit because your gun can't angle that way.

so long has it been that a game was made that its story and morals has moved in such ways... the game... this game i can say is if at all possible... a perfect game.

gameplay isn't new, as said by many but so quickly downgraded, dialogues are really long, and can be very boring.. The game itself is just like blue/redshift with less possibilities.
All you have to do is read those mindless characters' thoughts, then click "skip" at each cutscene,
hoping for a little bit more action, which never occurs. Now, click the minus icon. As always.

excuse me, but i dont think that when people play flash or other supported browser junk with not really clean images, except for the chars.
oh, 1 more thing, this is like reading a novel....
