too much talking text to o through, would be better to read whole pages than have to click through hundreds of messages of game story text, good easy start 1st loss is important as part of storyline.

@dralos: Yes you can - it's just completly ignored storywise. You do get an achievement for it, though. [It becomes rather manageable if you stack some New Game +. The enemies' strength doesn't increase as fast as yours, especially if you invest in Intelligence and/or Luck]

I know it is cheating, but i could never get neferiti to talk to me, so i used youtube for that ending and the secret one. The saddest ending has to be ginny's, love the reference to us. But I reckon the secret ending should definitely be canon if ever there was a sequel. it is the happiest of the lot

Quote from Deuce: i know but as a kid thats how i was. after that i shouted something dumb like" i wish there was no such thing as wishes". Nice birthday wish, huh?

I really enjoy this game but a couple of times I have accidentally pressed skip on the dialogue could you add a repeat dialogue button.

I remember back when I took the time to search for all of my older kongregate accounts passwords that were written on index cards scattered throughout the huge, crap-filled garage that I have just to rate this game five-stars from all of them. That six hour search was worth it. Also, I'd like you to know that the lowest rated comment (-67, now a -68 rating) says "TOO MUCH DIALOGUE!" So next time you think that the dialogues too long, think again, xdanond. This story is epic! You have no right to shorten it!

this is the first time ever in my whole life, that I would cry over the characters, the story, the wish of billions of people out there... Thank you

psycholemon: It is - those stats have a maximum at 10% which you reach if the respective skill is at 100% (= has a green number). Since the maximal skill rises faster then the automatical skill increase (duh^^), Crit% etc. will sink if you don't invest into luck etc.

Crit %, Evade %, and Reduction % appear to be decreasing as I gain levels. Is that normal? Otherwise, I loved the game.

A very good plot, jus wish there less dialog and more action, and sometimes even the dialog didnt make any sense whatsoever...i get lost when long consersations come up. so i jus skip it. thank god we have that.

Amazing game, but i have to rage when i get sucked into the walls...
More interaction, different endings for different choices, this game could be a good seller if expanded.

Wow, kinda funny about the timing but here it is a year later and I just found this game. Personally I despise story, most games, if not all, I completely skip it. I don't know what it was about this game but the story caught me up right from the start. I think I started playing this, with low expectations, sometime last night. I didn't realize it until just now that it's 12:15 in the afternoon and I'm still playing. I have to agree with the statement made a year ago, "I've found that a good game gives me a feeling that I've just finished a good book when I beat it. This is one such game. " -OseronPhaer

Awesome game! I love the upgrades systems, the characters, and the gameplay! None of them detracted from the others. The story kept the game going, and the fun gameplay made it worthwhile to keep going. 5/5, excellent job!

Great game. But I have a problem with it. My problem is the dialogue. My problem is not that the dialogue is bad, or even that there is too much of it. My problem is that I have no input on what my character says after the first 10 or so questions from the mysterious white mist. I don't want to just sit there and read what the characters say about each other. I want to interact with them. Otherwise I'm just sitting back and listening to a couple people talking about how they like their eggs cooked. At least let me say I like them scrambled. It feels more real to me if I have a say in it.

good enough to not stop playing till the end. The narrative was great and i'd be willing to see the other endings. Great Game!!!!

This is the single best Flash game on this (or any site). For that matter its equal to (or better than) about 95% of commercial games on any platform of much larger profile. This game succeeds on every level: enjoyable and challenging core gameplay, great level design, solid production values, and a simply fantastic story. On occasion when i reach the end of a particularly good book I have a sense of sadness that the story is wrapping up and wish for it to never end. I have felt that feeling over a video game on extremely rare occasions (Dragon quest V, FFVI, and maybe phantasy star 4), and this game brought those feelings up inside me as well. From the bottom of my hear thank you for making this game and letting me play it.
