5/5 A great game. While a lot of the dialogue could use polishing the amount of time you spent on Starwish is impressive and commendable. Thank you! The only differences in game play that I would like to see would be a somewhat steeper difficulty curve and auto fire (please!).

Actually... as amazing as this game is, my vote is to urge you NOT to make a sequel. Keep this gem immortalized, because the message is never as powerful the second time around.

I wouldn't mind a sequel, but let this last a little while longer; a sequel would only cheapen the value of this game if it came out so soon. I'm just waiting for the achievements!

I've been saving after every 3 battles now and I just lost about 50 battles worth somehow.

Obviously the best story on Kongregate. The game gets a 5/5 regardless, but there are a few things about the game play that would make the perfect. For one, I would like to see the ability to reorder your weapons. I found myself never using machinegun after a few levels and I don't need it to be hotkeyed to one instead of laser and wave. Also, a log of what characters say would be awesome. This game's strongest point is its story and being able to reread it (along with some of the information about stats and mods) would go a long way. Finally, the weapon upgrades could use some tweaking. I would have liked to see upgrading weapons do more than increase damage. It would also give rise to more customization as each weapon could be upgraded differently (fast weapons like the laser could get even faster and weapons specializing in aoe like spread could increase the number of shots released). Other than that, fix the funky collision mechanics and this would be a perfect game.

This game is awesome. I loved all the last lines to the endings, my favorite ending was the first one but couldn't vote for it... sad. But overall it is a good game, there isn't a lot of replay value to it but it is fun. Also if anyone is having trouble with the final boss just go into the bottom left corner and you wont get hit by the blue bullets nor the plasma cannon.

Honestly, we need more games like this, that are as much a spaceship shooting game as it is a story. Of the few games I've played like this, this is one of the best, with a perfect balance of difficulty, story, shooting, leveling options, and everything else. Simply amazing! 6/5. Keep up the good work! And thank you, for giving me something to do.

an amazing game! although... it's quite easy to win if you just add all your stats into int and luk and then just put all your mods into shields and regen xP

for everyone wondering why their save data is getting deleted, whenever a developer updates a game, the save files are deleted. If you want to keep your save, just save a copy of the .SOL file somewhere other than the default and move a copy of it back whenever your save is deleted

When I read the words "Dating Sim" my mind immediately went to doing pointless jobs for low wages to buy a $8 million box of chocolates to give to a chick who turns out hates chocolates and wanted the $7 box of roses. I was delightfully proved wrong.

This is one of the best games i've found on the web. It has it all: great music, good graphics, detailed characters, smooth balanced gameplay, clean humor, and amazing story. 5 Thumbs up.

I've been playing video games since the mid 1980s, and I must admit this one was in the top 5% I ever played. The author has undeniable talent for storytelling and a good balance in action. This was one of the few games where I didn't skip any cut scenes. I'm not necessarily looking for a sequel, but the author should seriously consider designing other story-driven games professionally.

really great game. after having played through it more, I retract my first rating of 4 stars and now give it 5 stars. interesting dialogue, story, and characters, plus decent gameplay and the ability to upgrade and grind/power level... freaking AWESOME!

hey i have a question if anyone can pm me. Is it possible not to have some conversations in the game in the cafe. Like you can miss some of that interesting developing side story dialogue if you pick some of the people, but not others?

Love this game! A wonderful plot that draws you in, loveable characters, and amazing music! The only thing that I want is to be able to replay the endings that you unlock without having to fight all over again.5/5

Amazing... Simply gorgeous! I just beat it first time (hard difficulty of course!) and the story absolutely beautiful. The challenge in combat was perfectly paced all the way through without being overly frustrating owed mainly to the level design. I would have like to see more enemy types per world rather than reusing them (especially bosses) but still overall 1000/5 for being amazing!

Undoubtfully the BEST flashgame ive played so far. Also, the only one that kept me coming back for the story. This universe you opened up by far excells the universe of a lot of hollywood-sci-fi-movies and the style you used is pretty awesome. even if the story is mostly told from dialog, its a truely loveable universe im playing in.
if wonder, if my questions at the start wouldve been differently answered, if the story wouldve turned out else way?
