I left the screen minimized and when i came back my stats were reset and I had one prestige, i didn't even get a confirm prompt or anything.

Suggestion 3: As others have noted, a static background image and/or an animated road that you're travelling that shrinks as you "grow" would give a good visual feedback to the end user, and give even more of a sense of progression.
I also wonder about a "stamina" system, allowing you to run instead of walking as a more active play style than the current idle.
...Of course, with all these suggestions, we're talking quite a few hours of development.
Thank you so much for all these suggestions. All very helpful and many have been incorporated! Still need to re-evaluate the distance currency, but will probably tackle that after my vacation. Thank you again!

Suggestion 2: The automatic prestige takes away part of the magic of an incremental game. It's a different user experience between the two scenarios: currently, you come back after idling to find a popup, and that you've already been reset. In the alternative, you come back after idling to find out you have enough to purchase the reset, and perform it manually. You could also extend the prestige reward benefits across more prestige levels, enabling players to earn more prestige rewards the longer they wait before having a child and continuing the legacy.

Suggestion 1: I would recommend reworking "distance" as a currency. If you have all items cost "money," it allows the user to decide their build between two branches of the tree. Regardless, while it makes sense to spend "money" to buy something, it doesn't make sense to spend "distance you've travelled," as that isn't tangible.
If you're against "single currency," you could instead have the various tiers cost a number of the previous tier as a secondary currency.

Maybe rethink the way Support works, or how you gain Distance. I am at millions of $ right now and didnt even get 10k spendable Feet yet

We need a save feature, offline progress, smaller window (Nothing drastic, it's only a little too tall without resizing the browser window) Otherwise, as far as Idle games go, I think it's pretty good. Most of the stuff that needs attention has already been mentioned. For now, it's a good 3.

The game breaks too fast, I think I got only to prestige 7 or 8 and the game just auto prestige without even buying things
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who played an idle walking game
because i am so terribly bored

The final height before it reaches infinity at prestige 1023 is 1.12355209288947e+308ft tall making you 39,777,920,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times larger than the observable universe. After that point, it just goes to infinity. Just something I thought was neat.
Fun game, if a bit short (no pun intended)
Something that could improve it is some more graphics, put something next to the person so that you can get a sense of scale, like how big they would be next to another person or a house or an office building. Also I would recommend not having the forced prestige, it's more fun for us to get to silly big numbers.

Somewhere around 5th or 6th prestige the game breaks and auto-wins you, and at 1023 I have a starting height of infinity, preventing me from continuous prestige.
Your code has scaling issues, or something funky happens at random that causes auto wins, on Firefox and clicked the prevent additional popups. Also using a pop up in that nature isn't as good as if you made it happen within the designated window, seems lazy.
Although the baseline concept has been done before, with expansion and visual overhaul could be a good idle game. Currently good as a quick 30 minute.

I'm trying some different things, and I'd like to get the pop up back please. I reloaded, and it deleted my game, but not my settings for pop up somehow. If your only answer is delete my cookies forget about it.

By the fourth prestige, you can prestige within 1500 ish steps by buying one third tier height upgrade, waiting, then buying one fourth tier height upgrade when you can.

Your distance calculations are off. I spent no distance, and when I hit one mile, I had 2k feet. That clearly isn't right.

So i went afk and reached Prestige. I was afk for a while and when i got back i saw my prestige just keep going up without me having to do anything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Unless I'm super oblivious, would be nice to know when a Prestige was coming instead of it just randomly telling me I'm prestiging. (apparently prestiging isn't a word? who knew?)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not bad, but overall it's a very static game. If possible, you might provide a backdrop or some other indicator of the character's scale as he grows. Secondarily, you might consider some indicator of wealth, but that's obviously a bit more abstract.

Please do post any feedback you have about this game. It is a pretty old project I built when initially learning JS, but I'm definitely open to improving/remaking it if there is interest!
