Great game, overall 5/5 i think you should make it a bit easier to get shards/rares. maybe if you make it a 10/15 win streak on ai3/4 you should get a special spin similar to the arena rules. but overall 5/5

You just gotta grind a bit till u get ur first upped deck, then snowball it from their on.
One thing i love about this game is that no matter how much time you spend on this game, theirs always new decks to make and more cards to up grade

@phodonn: Yes, the game is hard to start. Which is why I encourage people to ask for help in the chat at least. Most of the time you will get a response, and if i'm in, I will almost always post that same link.

@omegareaper7: Thanks for the comments (@edcedcedc and @anony mouse too) and apparently I guess it is easy to get 500 score using the links you provided. However, please bear in mind too that I'm speaking as average Joe gamer who pops into this game to get the achievement on Kongregate. I didn't know that you could buy a deck or that there were external forums, etc. until I made my post. Let's be honest, is the first thing you do when you load a new flash game is go look for forums on how to get the achievement the quickest? Probably not, I'd think most people would just try to play the game and win it. And if you just try to play Elements straight up like that, I think that achievement is very hard to obtain. I'm not ragging on you or the game, but that achievement really should have been something like win 10 AI3 games or something like that.

I think the best way to gain score as a beginner is to grind pvp1. You can gain 100score a match, this deck works for bronze ai3 and pvp1 http://elementscommunity.org/tools/deck/?deck=z44saz14vhz54vjz155qz5590z15c1z15f65lmz15ogz161q8pm

And as for 40 games to 50, all that takes is averaging 13 score per win, which is very easy with the decks i previously linked to.

@phodonn: Its very possible to make an ai3 grinder before playing ANY games whatsoever. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,49513.0.html make one of these. - And ask for help in chat before complaining next time.

If I won 40 matches in a row on AI3, I'd get 600 score roughly (granted I really don't know how it's calculating score). That would be at AI3 which gives much more score than AI1 or 2, but of course, it's not like you can start out playing and winning at that difficulty. In addition, you certainly can't win at that pace so you'll forgive me if I don't believe that you can obtain 500 score in 40 matches. Now maybe if you're really good at card cames, you can figure out strats quickly and get the cards you need to hit AI4 for some super big scores, but you can hardly expect an average player to do that.

@omegareaper7: I might be complaining, but I can tell you that I'm not having fun at the moment. Please note that as I indicated before, I am not bashing the game, I have an issue with the achievement that was chosen as part of the Best of quest. I'm not thumbing my nose at help, but generally I do like to complete games/quests/puzzles on my own if possible. I'm now at W91 and L41 for 420 points, a win gets me something like 15 score on AI3 which I can now win on decently. I'm not sure how your math is calculating 40 matches from that though.

@phodonn: You know, instead of complaining, asking for help is several times more efficient. And no, it doesn't take 300 games to get 500, it takes maybe 40.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@phodonn, if you buy a very simple deck such as a graboid rush or monodark and farm ai3 you can finish the 500 score quest easily. look on the forum and such for help if you need it.

You know, this is probably the worst achievement for a quest ever. This isn't to say that the game is bad, although I'm not a fan of CCG games. The "Only the Beginning Badge" (part of the Best of 2009 quest) requires that you complete all seven quests in the game. Which is fine for the first 6 quests, but the last one is to get a score of 500... 500! It's not like you be good or get lucky and obtain the badge, you need to play like crazy and take it seriously. Like someone else commented, you're really looking at about a 2:1 ratio of wins to losses in general. Playing level 2 opponents gives 5 or 6 score in general, so that's like 100 matches to make a score of 500. But you lose score when you lose a match, so it'll take close to 300 matches to get the achievement. I've been playing this for days now (obviously not like 8-9 hours a day) and i'm only halfway to a score of 500...

60sec timer on pvp is really reatarded and frustrating, it seems that some players just wait on purpose to few last seconds to end turn

I started playing in 2010, stopped, came back 3 years later and I'm definitely hooked again. This game is simply amazing and definitely the most fun and addicting CCG I've played.

That feeling when you are searching for a PV2 match and click "Back to Menu" because its taking too long... and just as you click it you are paired with somebody and it counts as a loss -_-

Can you use a supernova AND 2 nova's in the same turn. Yes. in fact u can use 6 supernovas in the same turn! 1sn and 2n u get no singularity.

friggin amazing, am loving the whole MTG feel, the system is great, allowing players to jump right in and not be totally outclassed by opponents, yet not so slow paced that it would be hard to improve.
5/5

This must be one of my absolute FAVORITE games. You can play it infinitely without having to wait ages to play again (Dream/Time World), it's absolutely FREE to play with a VERY GOOD deck (9/10 multiplayer games), it has awesome graphics and a simple game system where you don't lose out on much just to get a halfway decent reward, all there is the the Oracle, which doesn't give too terribly much. This game is perfect in my eyes. The matches require some luck to be good, which is normal in card games, so it can't be counted as a flaw. Lastly, the card levels don't go on infinitely to the point where one card can beat level one players, so you always have some form of challenge in every sort of level :-) 5/5.

If the game allows you to connect to someone and you automatically lose, not a desynch, the problem isn't the PvP servers. It's you. Well, rather, your internet connection. I know this from sad experience.
