lol fake gods are really strong...once i finally reached 500 points, first thing i did was fight one, got him down to 20 and he used miracle, got him down to 30 and he used miracle again, then got him down to about 50 when I died :(

Oh, and the Heal skill in my opinion is also far too overpowered when it can increase a creature's hp past its starting point. I've seen 25-30hp creatures used by the AI. Good thing that Firebolt/Icebolt works great when you've had quantum stored up.

It's a petty nice game, just needs some balancing. Poison is far too overpowered considering its cumulative/stacking effects. Poison needs instead to wear off in power by 1 or 2 per turn. Also, penalizing the player as loss for a disconnect is harsh.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1. PVPs are almost always disconnected and you have to play against CPU instead, probably from server lag or some such.
2. Since this game gets about 2 new pages of comments each day, I think it should get some badges for it!

too hard to build a deck... i mean as economic... each lose takes away gold makes it so hard <.<
btw i never had chance to find opponent on pvp duel... its like no one plays this game... maybe its because the timezone =/

The challenge to building a good deck in tcg's/ccg's is to build a deck that works well and minimizes the effect of luck on how your deck plays, if you're getting a lot of bad draws then you probably need to modify your deck. Besides, I'm sure being able to choose your starting hand would just unbalance the game further, it would be too easy to exploit.

there is about 95% chance that the computer will end up finishing a duel due to getting desynchronized. extremely frustrating. :( any chance of fixing this?

seeems like u hvaent play enough card game. a deck with prefect synergy would almost never get a bad draw. It is very possible in magic the gathering where the max per card is 4 card and min 60. What more on a game that have 6 max per card and only 30 min
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
shiny, that's the point of a card game
it's luck, but also based on skill. sort of like poker...similar pro poker players are always at the final table even though what cards you get in your hand are highly based on luck. in this game, a better deck will lower your chance of losing due to "bad luck." if you take a new beginner deck w/out any changed cards and fight someone in the top 50 500 times, i'll be willing to bet the top 50 deck would win 499 or all 500 of the games.

BTW< not sure if you read these often but Zan, the connection in PvP has been getting worse and worse. Its at the point were 90% of my games get cut off.

It'd be the same with any hand, wise. I could set up a Forest Spirit with blessing and a few freezes to counter attackers (and the pillars to supply this) but often I can't. Being able to set up the strategy from the first turn would make the game a bit more fair.
What I'm saying is that, like most card games, this games relies mainly on luck. With a bad draw (and poor draws on consecutive turns) even a level one has a chance of beating you. You could put together the most incredible deck ever, with perfect synergy and balance, but poor draws could cause you to lose. It's a common flaw of most card games that I just wanted to point out.

Shiny, that would be impossible to balance. With my deck (lava golems) if is et upt he right hand i could destroy people really fast. No card game in the history of cardgames let you pick your starter hand so why should this? Sometiems you get bad draws, you gota accept and move on.

Re: burningwings136...upgraded cards not being that great...you mean like upgrading a 5|5 abomination into a 2|3 microabomination or whatever?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What would be fantastic would be the ability to save and load decks. Maybe import them from other players. Not the cards themselves, but the outline. And Dream, it isn't his fault. You're rating the game. Not the playerbase.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only thing this game is missing is the ability to choose the hand you start with. Too many times my opening draw has left me with all pillars or no pillars, and I'm forced to wait three or more turns while the CPU sets up their deck with seemingly unfair ease. Being able to choose the hand you start with would give you a head start with strategy, leaving only the draw of a card to chance.

Honestly, the card upgrades could be a little better. Well, in some cases, they could be a lot better. Example: miracle. Upgrading miracle lowers its casting cost by 3. ... But it still consumes ALL of your Light when you use it. That sound like something worth a 1,500 investment?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Argh. Hackers finally found out about this game, my last seven matches have been against someone who magically gains seventy quantums in every area at the beginning of the turn, then blasts me with firebolts.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok thats ridiculous, take away miracle from the fake gods, they already have 200 hp and fully upgraded health, thats not fair to make it almsot 400 hp, you are stupid if you keep it.

RE zphantom13:
if upgrades were that cheap all the new people when trying to pvp would get beaten so badly they will just give up.
