Under rating threshold (show) @juani_95, PvP isn't broken as you just have to click either pvp1/2 and wait for an opponent to pop up. You may have to exit and enter back in at times also at times there wouldn't be much opponents online. About PvP Duel, Make sure you both inserted the correct in game names and re-connect if needed.

Under rating threshold (show) @Nthrax, It saddens me when there's a term in-game as a mode to play which players don't understand. PvP means Player vs Player not Player vs bot, Within Pvp 1/2 (You're surely not talking about PvP duel since you would have to get the ign of the opponent) you face real players unless this player leaves which a Ai plays their deck for them.

Under rating threshold (show) I think I should've pointed out that I meant flooding would be capable of flooding BOTH full fields of Malignant Cells, and an extra up to 10 more each turn, without the draw cost of using Plague or Thunderstorm to kill them.

Under rating threshold (show) @DriveForeignCars, You sir haven't visited the official forums as all as their are events for players to be creative to make interesting decks. Take a look at the Events and Competitions board (http://elementscommunity.com/forum/index.php/board,76.0.html). There are events which occurs every week, month and even couple of months which rewards are given like rare cards (Shards, Nymphs, Marked Cards, Foil Artwork and so on) along with coins.

Under rating threshold (show) yeah if i like a game thats when im the hardest on it for things it does wrong, the more i like it the more criticism it'll get from me. and yeah i expected that the big leagues would be a little stale but that happens in every card game, drive to win suffocates creativity, which is why mtg has casual and competitive players, maybe this game should have a casual area where people are encouraged to make creative and interesting decks.

Under rating threshold (show) oh you know i completely forgot that since this is an electronic game you can still change cards, i was talking about all this thinking that these cards were set in stone like already printed mtg cards. i admit that on the whole this game is extrodinarily balanced, (one of the things i love about it)

Under rating threshold (show) I believe neutral was included in the list of immune creatures, to Flooding, because to fieldwipe Malignant Cells when you have Vultures on the field would end game, especially if each of your Boneyards spawned a full field of Skeletons, who would also get flooded... That's like, what, +65 to each Vulture's attack and hp? Not to mention if you had a Bonewall...

Mar. 02, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) i know it doesn't effect water and i guess its fine that it doesn't effect flying weapons and cells (after all why should it) and i definitely get what your saying about not nerfing an already combo-necessary card since there's only a few ways you can use it as is. but suppose this game actually gets big (which i would absolutely love to happen) and more neutral creatures are added possibly along with a mark of quantum (2-3 random quanta per turn) for colourless decks and rainbow decks) than they would be afforded the same protection from flooding possibly undeserved, and flooding will nerf itself in the face to the point of complete uselessness and flavorlessness. plus the airborne mechanic really needs more utility instead of only doing anything in tandem with literally 2 cards (one of which your opponent has to play) and 1 keyword ability (which is only on a few airborne creatures). not that i would dream of looking to flooding to fix that

Under rating threshold (show) i personally think that flooding should not effect flying or water creatures, theres no reason neutral creatures should be immune, this card is seriously lacking in flavor. flying creatures can always land on a tree or mountain somewhere. certainly an airborne virus doesnt need to land...

+ - !

qazzaq123

Mar. 01, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) @Dm1321, You're not understand my comment, Flooding needed to have a purpose that wasn't heavily limited to what it can't kill as it can't kill water creatures or neutral creatures but kill all other creatures. It can only kill on the edge of the creature slots on the opponents side and if you take account of ArusDaryl idea, It will only make Flooding underpowered. I know Flooding came before SoP, Who wouldn't know that? but now with SoP it gives Flooding a bit more usage as a combo and Flooding shouldn't change to be weaken to accommodate airborne creatures.

+ - !

Dm1321

Mar. 01, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) Dear qazzy, Flooding came before SoP. While SoP is intended to be used with Flooding on most times, flooding is NOT intended to be used with SoP.

+ - !

(-2)

qazzaq123

Mar. 01, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) @ArusDaryl, You say airborne creatures should be immune to flooding right but at some point in time they must land as they can't keep on flying forever. :P However I think they should have a small amount of damage done to them per turn so maybe 1 damage per turn (un-upped) and 2 per turn (upped). This balances the card towards airborne creatures but makes the card itself weak as I think zanzarino wanted it to be used more together with SoP (Shard of Patience). :D

Under rating threshold (show) @qazzaq123: Thank you, good post! @Barragor: If I dont even know exactly what a skill does, like the crusader only being able to target weapons it is a bit harsh to lose the quants without being able to effectively use the skill. Same aplies to mutated creatures with skills that are new to me (if they dont get explained ingame) for example. And I do not really see the difference between cancelling a card and a skill...as explained in the link from qazzaq's post it is not intended to punish the player for klicking a skill in error.

Under rating threshold (show) @JFF_Gh0st, Okey so you want to know why you can't gain back your quanta after canceling the skills of creatures? If so please read (http://elementscommunity.com/forum/index.php/topic,13695.msg184470.html#msg184470) as it's to much text to be written as a comment. @AtomDragon, Barragor is 100% right about it being related to strategy so you may also want to read the information on the link. :D

+ - !

Barragor

Feb. 29, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) @JFF Ghost, no it shouldnt... it gives back quanta when you cancel a card, but abilities shouldn't give back quanta or re-able themselves after cancel. It is a strategy game, after all.

Under rating threshold (show) A helpful tip to the noob out there: When you first start, get rid of all the non-main elemental cards in your deck (besides the dagger). I mean... c'mon... there's things like a Death/Aether deck that you start with... to grind Ai3s, just get rid of the Aether part to downsize it to 30 cards. That greatly improves your grinding ability.
