This game is indeed awesome, but the stores feel kinda empty. This game is meant for combos but I feel there is not much love towards mono's, if you look at the store you can see all that empty space...

hmmm... I swear my creatures that deal no damage, instead poison counters, dont actually do what they say.... that is obnoxious...

Foxfax: Um... donating to the game might net you a shard at best, and those cards are incredibly situational, and really not any better than what's found in the bazaar. If you play around a little longer, and figure out a decent strategy, it's really not that hard of a game. The only things that really pose a challenge to the average player are half-bloods, false gods, and other players.

"Elements is a free game and will always be: we didnt ask for money to open a new account and, unlike most other online games you have access to all the features, again free of charge" Then what is this "redeem code" button. Let me do some research . . . oh it seems you BUY cards and are given a code to claim it. Call it "donation" if you want, but that is not how a donation works. With that logic I "donate" to a grocery store every other week and they give me groceries as a reward for doing so. Rather shallow. 1 star

I love this game. I'm not even very good at it but when the card combinations work together really well it is so satisfying. Inspirational, really.

@Putako: There are really only three status effects. Heal, from the Purify (Water element) card, Poison, from multiple different cards, and Neurotoxin, from Dune Scorpion (Time element). Each of these is shown as a number in a coloured circle just above your health. Purify is a blue +2, Poison is a purple -1, and Neurotoxin is a gold -1. There is one other status, from the rare Shard of Death spell (replaces damage with healing at the cost of fourty health), that is represented by inverting the colour of your health bar. All other statuses can only be applied to creatures.

What are the chances of getting a nymph? I've been spinning oracle pretty much every day for around 1/2 year now and still haven't gotten one. Is this normal, or is there something I'm doing wrong?

(reeeeeeeeeet) the only way to attack other monster is by using spell on them or by gravity pull or other effect from the differnt nymph

Nice game. Very MTG. Unfortunately the amount that is on the screen is too much for my eyes to take with the smallness of the screen. But I can see that the fullsize version is available, so I will no doubt continue exploring this game over there :) 5/5

@brian_james - yea, that was just one more game. The speed of this thing is glacial, and thats just one of the problems.

I'd say that this game is difficult, not in the normal sense, but it is very grindy at the start, making it difficult for beginners to test different strategies. I might be doing this wrong, but after 140 battles I still have trouble beating half of the level 2 opponents. The good things about the game are that there's no actual luck-based grinding in the form of opening different tiers of packs or anything like that, and that there's no excessive focus on PvP. There's no strict sequence of "leveling up", just a gradual feeling of improvement. The emphasis on luck, while being a core aspect of the game, is also a minor issue - there might have been some extra depth in the game if the player could build decks to test against specific typed enemies, and the full-health bonus mechanism sometimes conflicts with the player's main goal of winning.

This piece of shit had to be the last game of the week. There were 2 that reeked so I passed them over for this and now I can't even log in with my Kong ID that I've had for HOW many years?
Worthless. Also the reason I'm gonna have another non-shiny.
DIIIIIIIIIIIIIISGUSTING.

To all the people that may potentially stick with this game due to badge of the day: Yes, this game is luck heavy. A bit more than a real card game, as you cannot re-draw your hand for a sort of penalty like a real card game. It is also, until you get past a low-level grinding hurdle to have some room for deck building, slow paced and limited feeling. Obtaining more and better cards is faster the longer you play though. If you don't feel like sticking with it but do feel like messing about in the game, try going to http://elementsthegame.com/trainer.html

@daexion. Not attacking would only be a bad thing 95% of the time. The only time, and it would also kill cards like antimatter making them useless without even more mechanic changes. ----- @Balbanes: The game is fairly popular as far as flash games go. Pvp was broken for a while though, which resulted in most random people leaving. So they aren't there for pvp anymore. A lot of people also don't like the lag of pvp, so they don't play.

Overall, I don't like the game. I play creatures, but I cannot block. The board position dictates that attacking would be a horrible idea, but I have no choice but to attack regardless. Trying to build a deck with more than one resource type just feels like a really bad idea since every card only wants to use X of a single type unless the off-type is only for activated abilities or you only use low cost cards of the off-type. I don't even want to get into the issues of not getting any resource cards in the opening draw with no option of a mulligan: even decks with a balanced ratio can have bad draws.
The player should be allowed to decide if they are going to attack or not attack
