Under rating threshold (show) @Balbanes: Maybe your deck is just bad. Starter decks are terrible. I have never had a problem with the AI getting good draws.

Under rating threshold (show) @glitchiness You not liking stuff about the game doesn't make it a bad game. There are PLENTY of decks that interact with the opponent. A whole lot who are hampered by control decks, which FYI, are running rampant for the most part. As for music and sounds, yes, they could use work. However more cards and balance issues are a much higher priority. Upgrading doesn't have to be a choir if you don't want it to. Hell, you don't even need to upgrade cards. It is ENTIRELY unnecessary. Most events are unupped to boot. As for its comparison to other ccg. Most are either crap, or pay to win, or have even more grind then this. If you don't like the game, don't play it.

Under rating threshold (show) @balbanes: Poison is not an element. Also, if you think only death is useful, then you seriously need to actually experiment. Every element has at least one good mono it can make, and several good duos. And lifes healing isn't as good as lights. The top 3 elements would be something like aether, fire, darkness. Assuming I had to label them. But there is no strict best.

Under rating threshold (show) Balbanes: While poison, death, and dark tend to stand out as far as mono decks are concerned in utility and ease of use, other elements do work too in a single element deck. I've been beaten several times, despite good draws for me, by them. I've been beaten even more by mixtures of all of them (and there's a lot of those, including rainbow).

Under rating threshold (show) If you do have complaints about AI level 3 and are just starting out, try a mono deck. Death or aether are solid options. Sell all your cards unrelated to the deck if you don't quite have enough. For death, fill it with poison, mummies, dragons, and pillars. For aether, fill it with dimension shields, dragons, some other aether creature, and pillars. 14-15 pillars, 6 of poison/shield, 9-10 creatures. You'll win roughly 9 out of 10 of your games versus AI 3 from what I remember.

Jul. 17, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) @baltbanes, ai doesn't cheat, unless you happen to mean the double draw/higher hp/triple mark higher ai's have. You having bad draws all the time means your deck is unbalanced; try to tune it down to 30 cards if it isn't already. Not drawing any 0-cost cards often means that this probably isn't the case. ai3, fg (and arena) are the only ai's with an actual decent to good deck; ai4 solely is hard because of the higher stats. If you cannot defeat ai3 properly, you will have a hard time in pvp, as most players can make decks that defeat ai3.

Under rating threshold (show) @elitegardist: You can have everything in under a year actually. Also, you don't need to grind, only if you want to get places fast. You can easily just play pvp, events, and get money from the oracle and arena.

Under rating threshold (show) Elitegardist: I won't deny this game is rather grind heavy, especially in the beginning. However, with proper farming decks (AI levels 3, 4, and False God), it's really not too bad after you get through the initial low level grinding hurdle. At least despite the grind, there's nothing stopping you from actually grinding. Plus, if you really want to just mess around with everything, trying going to elementsthegame.com/trainer.html

Under rating threshold (show) It is an incredible process. You pick out your starter deck, battle the level 0,1,2,3, modify your deck to your liking, grind like crazy to get 500 score, pick the weapon that could change your life, upgrade some cards. Soon you're able to effectively kill fake gods, then continuely upgrade/modify your deck. Then you look back at everything you accomplished and feel good about how easy it is to get 500 score compared to when you thought it was a terribly hard thing.

Under rating threshold (show) to add to what rock said: flash games autmatically use up less computing power when they are not on top (a different tab). However, the remaining computing power is not enough for elements, causing it to skip some steps. An AI would just play it's card next step, but in pvp, things can get messed up, causing a desync.

Under rating threshold (show) PvP negotiating works better if you do not switch tabs during said negotiating. Similarly, a desync is much more likely if you switch tabs during the actual game.

Under rating threshold (show) I never understood the hate against people who just take decks off forums and play them. Maybe you don't have fun doing that, it doesn't mean other people don't, and it sure as hell doesn't mean you should come and tell exactly how to play the game, because there's only one right way to do so and that's yours. It's a game. sheesh. (I probably sound too harsh here, it's because it's not just ibeporkinu's comment I'm referring to. There are people who do this on chat too, and they're extremely in your face about it. pls. stop.)

Under rating threshold (show) ugh thats whats wrong with this game now days every one uses the premade decks. please dont get stuck on the premade decks yes they work but it takes 90% of the enjoyment out of this game. wheres the creativity? when u use these premade decks u dont learn the cards and strategies behind the cards, and after awhile u get bored with the same ole sht over an over.
