Oh, as for consistent wins at higher levels. Here's a deck that will consistently beat ai3: 6shriekers 6 graboids 18 stone pillars. Set your mark to time. Also works in bronze and silver. You could replace 1 stone pillar with a short sword (many do) but it's up to you.

I disagree justjoe, I've played mtg since I was 7 or so, still do today. There are plenty of differences. One of the biggest is the limited card selection. Also the fact that the creature skills and/or passives are very different. Sure the cards have an atk and life but there are tons of ccgs like that. There are similarities but calling it a rip off is just stupid. There are plenty of unique things about this ccg and plenty of ccgs use an element based system. mtg wasn't even the first to use the element system (land cards) so by your logic mtg is a rip off. Simply not true. As far as getting 500 score, go to the silver arena with a very basic deck and you'll have it in 5 minutes. Also to have 119 wins in the game and only have 425 score.... did you even really look at the cards or did you just decide to use the starter deck.

I know what you mean Solo. This game is a crappy Magic copy. The only reason I'm playing it is because it's a part of the best of 2009 quest. Which, I'm 119 wins into the game (still don't have all the quests done, I'm 425/500 for the last quest) because you can only beat the level 1 AI consistently and that only gives you like 5 score per win. This game is just stupid. Well made? Sure, I'm not saying that, it's just a rip off.

This is my favorite card game not only on kongregate, but also compared to all new card games! I would really enjoy AND pay for an android version of elements...

This game sucks. Level 2 and the miracles the npc pulls off is amazing to watch. Turn 2 and they have 10 of each element and somehow played 15 cards.

Sesilu, that's from shard of wisdom, a very special case. It's not a bug. It's literally the only card that can target immaterial creatures. As far as dealing with shard of wisdom, I recommend the reflective shield, or the emerald shield. Or sundials. Or the upgraded fire shield. There's plenty of options.

@fenkosmo check the bazaar for cards, farm level 3s, 4s, 5s as well as the arena to get rare cards like weapons, shards, a couple creatures as well as a spell or two. To get nymphs you need to either get lucky at the oracle, or one of the many pvp events. For more information on pvp events, check the forums @ elementscommunity.org/forum/

To everyone complaining about the deck wrecking badge, you need only ask in chat and people will usually play with you. Failing that, consider joining a tournament http://elementscommunity.org/forum/pvp-tournaments/

If anyone is looking to complete the deck wrecking badge, ask in chat and see if anyone responds. If not just click pvp1 and wait about 2 minutes before exiting out and trying pvp1 again, you will get matches.

@GlowingLimes npc ability to use the cards available remains the same regardless of level, the only thing that changes are what cards are available to the npc. All this information is available on the wiki. As it is, the npc is actually really simple and wont come up with any convuled strategy, it will simply play what cards it can and use what creature abilities it can, which can be really annoying when making an Arena deck (shriekers will almost always be burrowed on the next turn as an example). The chances of losing against level 0 is quite low, the npc has to get a really good set of cards consistantly for quite a few turns and you have to either be using the starter deck (not recommended) or just a really bad deck.

NPC level scales with yours and not with the level you choose to battle. THAT needs to NOT HAPPEN. :/ It's really distasteful and doesn't help those of us to who come back after not playing this game for a while and get DESTROYED by a Chimera summoned from the enemy NPC on LEVEL 0...

PVP badge can be done by asking another person in chat, usually people are willing to play - if you ask nicely they probably would just forfeit 4 times as well.

Elements is fantastic and you will always have a handful of loyal players like me who can’t resist logging on each day to try my luck on the oracle and play a game!
Due to minimal support, I can't help notice Elements is slowly eroding away. I’ve noticed couple problems in the last few days:
After I reset my deck for Arena (Platinum league), I am rank 7 with 0 Wins- 0 Loss (strange because after a reset rank = 200). After a day, my score is 0-11 which is surprising compared to a week ago - where it is typically 7-2. My deck isn’t the best but it isn't a pushover either
Plat and Gold Arena seems to be dying out - 1st place no longer pays anything (0 gold for win)
Pls help me vote this up guys so Zanz can see this
I just feel it is such a pity for a great game like this to just disappear

Isn't it sad? I come here everyday and stare at the once lively and now deserted place. It's still one of the best CCG game ever. Does someone know if Zanzarino intends to update it someday? It could revive the game.

Awfull game. Nothing is random here, contrary to what it should be in a card game, governed by the laws of probability and of the Large Numbers. From the initial draw, where no matter how many mana sources you have in the deck you never get more than 2 or 3; to the way your opponent decks are selected specifically to neutralize your deck typology; or even to the way enemy deck card draw happens, so as to allow the AI to use it's intended strategy right from the start. No randomnes. And in a card game this is the same as 0 fun.
