I'm not certain since it doesn't show who made the deck, but I'm pretty sure I end up facing my own deck when I automatically win. I guess there are not nearly as many people on anymore setting up pvp decks so I end up against mine very often, and the game decides I automatically win in that case?

PVP seems partially broken... start game leads to instant win and elemental master because I didn't take damage. I mean, cool it's been a few years since I played the game and I guess I missed out on several hundred electrum from the oracle in that time period, but pvp used to be interesting. On the fourth match I actually got into a duel I didn't automatically win.

WTF?! 1st place in every league belons to multi account of one guy (nfl toros) he must leave this game or has a ultimate method to always win :/

I advise you to experiment more. AI1-3 easily beatable with basic decks. Check your quanta: if you produce too much then remove some and add more creatures. Starting decks aren't good gotta adjust them. Give a bit more time to the game it does worth it.

I thought this game would be a nice, fun experience.
It was not.
The entire game is 'Get lucky or lose'
Strategy doesn't matter, your deck doesn't matter, and your coins don't matter because the game can choose to keep giving you pillars while the enemy who won the coinflip has 20 dragons destroying your healthbar. Overrated.

the game is mostly "underrated" because the arena system. The arena system takes one hp from your deck every day, if you don't renew it. Howewer, the weakened decks are still in the play, thus players can encounter them, and win. A new version is in the making (called open ETG), with unfinished graphics, design, and code.

I found this bug that almost always when I play in the silver league I automatically win, so I get the bonus spin. Although it will usually just say I won the spin but not give me anything. I jumped from 20 gold to 5000 in just a few minutes. Rarely I actually find an opponent that doesn't give me the auto win, but when I do, I sometimes get opponents with 1HP

This is one of the few games on here that I have came back to year after year and enjoyed every time. Does anyone know whether this will be available after the Flash purge at the end of the year?
And why isn't this an app yet for my phone? I would give the monies.

The game is so buggy, if you choose a wrong deck you're stuck. You can't sell your cards because you need 30 in your deck at all times. You can't earn gold because even level 1 beats you, which only gives 5 gold..

Neat little deck for you guys to try:
time mark
4 bone pillars
4 gravity pillars
6 time factories
5 mummies
5 reverse time
6 scarabs
1 procrastination
2 chimeras
Multiply indefinitely with mummies, reverse time and scarabs. Stall a little with procrastination. When you have a horde, combine into a chimera and get rid of the strategies two weaknesses: shields and taking damage.

Quest 6 is just painful for a person who doesn't enjoy CCG. I'm getting about 2 points a match on average, need to get to 150. That's a long friggin medium badge.

Wth is wrong with you guys, giving negatives to a comment which only points out that EVERY deck has a COUNTER... this is what makes this game fun.

De lo mejorcito de Kongragate en cuanto a CCG, y desde que Card Hunter nos abandonó, este pasaría a ser el CCG con mejor puntuación, felicidades.

If your score goes into the negative before the "reach 150 score" quest, simply reset to retain your "quests completed" with none of the bad juju.

Has anyone here tried a vampire deck they're super fun if the heart of the cards is on your side and with a well balanced deck it often is. You're practically unkillable.

Hey Selyob! It isn't that fun to play against AI3 / AI4, true. Try playing against human another player and you'll see the strength of this cute little game. Hint: there are no invincible decks, there is always a solution to beat that pesky deck played by your opponent! Of course, there are powerhouse decks, but the rock-paper-scissors nature of the game provides solutions. Also there are less powerful, but oh-so-satisfying-to-play combo decks as well. Ask around in chat, play with other players, read forum/wiki, try different decks against different players, and you'll love it!

Here I am, having obtained the easy badge on february 13th 2010 (yeah, 2010, you read correctly), and finally getting to kill a god ten years later, March 19th 2020! This game sits amongst the top of all CGG games I've played on Kongregate or other, with very few others like Spectromancer and Card Hunter. All true masterpieces in their own way. I've been on Kong for more than 11 years now and this may, MAY, be my fifth comment, this simple facts attests to the very high quality of this game, in depth, balance and longevity. I know the creator of this gem has surely moved on to new and exciting games, but I simply wanted to leave a token of my appreciation. Bravo!

I think there should be some way to facilitate PvP matching, like allowing players to play against the AI while in the PvP queue and pausing the match when the PvP is ready.

OK, at the end of the day this is nothing more than a random generator. A horrid grinder. There is little strategy involved, and the little there is is supremely overridden by the complete randomness of the circumstances, such as your stategic abilities amount to absolutely jack.
I have spent 3 hours on this game and it is pointless. EVENTUALLY, you will randomly accumulate enough coins to stack your deck to the point where you can win something regardless of what the randomness tosses your way... but I refuse to waste my life on such randomness. 1 star.

This is my favorite card game on Kongregate. It's really similar to Magic but simplified, and there are a lot of ways to build decks. Plus the upgrade your cards mechanic makes it more interesting for me.

Nah, no learning system, although it might be pulling specifically to counter your decks. Check the wiki, the decks aren't random, but actually pre-set! In the case of level 4, it's semi-random from each deck having two 'halves' that the combination name determines.
