De lo mejorcito de Kongragate en cuanto a CCG, y desde que Card Hunter nos abandonó, este pasaría a ser el CCG con mejor puntuación, felicidades.

If your score goes into the negative before the "reach 150 score" quest, simply reset to retain your "quests completed" with none of the bad juju.

Has anyone here tried a vampire deck they're super fun if the heart of the cards is on your side and with a well balanced deck it often is. You're practically unkillable.

Hey Selyob! It isn't that fun to play against AI3 / AI4, true. Try playing against human another player and you'll see the strength of this cute little game. Hint: there are no invincible decks, there is always a solution to beat that pesky deck played by your opponent! Of course, there are powerhouse decks, but the rock-paper-scissors nature of the game provides solutions. Also there are less powerful, but oh-so-satisfying-to-play combo decks as well. Ask around in chat, play with other players, read forum/wiki, try different decks against different players, and you'll love it!

Here I am, having obtained the easy badge on february 13th 2010 (yeah, 2010, you read correctly), and finally getting to kill a god ten years later, March 19th 2020! This game sits amongst the top of all CGG games I've played on Kongregate or other, with very few others like Spectromancer and Card Hunter. All true masterpieces in their own way. I've been on Kong for more than 11 years now and this may, MAY, be my fifth comment, this simple facts attests to the very high quality of this game, in depth, balance and longevity. I know the creator of this gem has surely moved on to new and exciting games, but I simply wanted to leave a token of my appreciation. Bravo!

I think there should be some way to facilitate PvP matching, like allowing players to play against the AI while in the PvP queue and pausing the match when the PvP is ready.

OK, at the end of the day this is nothing more than a random generator. A horrid grinder. There is little strategy involved, and the little there is is supremely overridden by the complete randomness of the circumstances, such as your stategic abilities amount to absolutely jack.
I have spent 3 hours on this game and it is pointless. EVENTUALLY, you will randomly accumulate enough coins to stack your deck to the point where you can win something regardless of what the randomness tosses your way... but I refuse to waste my life on such randomness. 1 star.

This is my favorite card game on Kongregate. It's really similar to Magic but simplified, and there are a lot of ways to build decks. Plus the upgrade your cards mechanic makes it more interesting for me.

Nah, no learning system, although it might be pulling specifically to counter your decks. Check the wiki, the decks aren't random, but actually pre-set! In the case of level 4, it's semi-random from each deck having two 'halves' that the combination name determines.

This has always been on my mind: Does anyone suspect there is a learning system behind this game? I mean, for example, when you create a new deck much too often you first beat a few AIs and then it keeps putting you against opponents that your deck is weak against or persistently deny you of some cards in each game as if it is studying your deck. o_o

Certain permanents disappear, because they have only a limited usage. Wings - 5 turns, Dimensional Shield - 3 turns, Sundial - 1 turn, Bone Wall - limited number of bones, Dissipation Shield - quanta-based.

Outlawzz: In fact you can get all cards in like 2 hours, just find the correct strategy. Click that Arena button, and marvel how quickly you can get money even with the lousiest deck. However it isn't bad sometimes to ask nicely for advice, search the forum or the wiki for decks and learn.

@outlawzz stop your whining and use your head and build a great deck. Its not our problem you cant understand the game that much

Tip for those who are having a hard time raising their score for the quests: fight in arena. The decks all have 1 HP, so you'll be able to grind score very fast.

I've played this game for years and I can ofc only talk from my feelings about the AI fairness, but if anything the player seems to start suspiciously often. Also I've never seen any real pattern in what decks AI decides to use against you.

Might be better if the ai didn't always magically play a deck almost exclusively designed to counter yours. Takes forever to gain gold and/or get lucky and get a new card you might be able to use. The gameplay is solid and there is a huge variety of strategies, unfortunately ai "cheats" like deck counters and the fact that it "wins" the coin toss a good 80% of the time (going first is ALWAYS better, unlike some other games that balance this).

The arena 1hp thing isn't a bug. every day the hp of submitted decks decrease, and these decks have been here for years, so they have 1hp. It's a feature, to keep users active, but the game is years old. On the plus side, it's easy to get money now

I have an idea for a new element; Technology. It depicts a switch button. It is related to computers, mobile devices, etc.

@Gamerking : you can upgrade cards after doing the 7 quests. Then, you click on "Quest" and you'll have a button to upgrade your cards (1500 electrum each)

Game seems to be bugged. Creatures which when burrowed say they can't be targeted, and yet they still are able to be targeted with poison AFTER they're burrowed. @Dev: FIX THIS ISSUE PLEASE!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
How do you upgrade cards? New-ish player here and can't seem to see any way. Also the arena keeps bugging out and gives you instant wins or players with 1hp, free stuff is awesome but this is rather strange.

Love it. But I'd really recommend having in-game music. The only music I hear is the intro music--which is nice--but I'd like to have the option to turn it on during battle. Maybe even a jukebox is a good idea, and I can cycle through various tunes.

@mccool37: That might help some people, but sometimes the server is just down for some reason. I don't have any linked account(s) and last night/this morning there were issues with connectivity.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some people are saying they were having server issues. I was as well but I figured out the issue on my end so maybe it will help others. If you are making a new account and hit "Link the accounts" on the first screen, it will log you in but won't properly connect to the server and won't save data. Instead, hit "New Account" and link the accounts from there to log in and save properly.

@mogllion Some cards are played on the opponent's side of the field. Using cards on your own side enables you to destroy them. (Note, using the "cancel airborne" effect to enable your monsters to attack your opponents doesn't work. I thought it did, but I was wrong. Must've been another card effect.)

People are saying you can rig the PVP to play against yourself. How? When I went to PVP Duel to "Challenge a Friend," and entered my own screen name, and hit "Go," it just sits there and says, "Waiting for an opponent. So how can you play against yourself so you can get the PVP badge?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's not a bad game, but I do have to wonder why you can eliminate yourself with your own card effects. Like I get there are costs to using some cards, but once you pick up pace you forget some aspects of the game and click before you think some times, and a quick pop-up that closes if you click another card doesn't help since it appears just as fast as it goes away and then you've lost. Maybe make it so you HAVE to click the message to acknowledge that you might end yourself, instead of it flashing for a split second before I click a card that kills my run and momentum?

No disadvantage for the mixed deck. No summoning sickness (although they have effect/spell delay, strangely). Able to play multiple mana (or quanta, whatever) creating cards on the SAME turn. Inability to target creature w/o special ability or spells (the game's sole wizard-to-wizard approach). Over-reliance on PvP. This game is broken from the get-go. Nice art though. And I do like the simplicity of play: no select-this-card-slot, monster fusion, multi-uber-buff, attack/def start in the hundreds or thousands, etc. No nonsense approach is good.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't want to give this game a low score because it's not a genre I play. I simply am not able to figure it out. Pretty though.
