@dorestes It can be stolen destroyed and you should have a shield or 2 of your own. that's why I run shadow, have something powerful that I want and you can take it.

@Agilpeed, No i think 60 seconds is great for the pvp timer and not 30 seconds as you suggested because let's say your connection is bad it means you connection will need time to keep up with the game in order to play your pvp duels if the time was shorten you will be losing.

At last, I won 10 pvp games... and I wonder how, as each of my opponents had better deck and strategy... well, luck also plays a part in this game... and I am not a competitive type, this game really IS addictive, to make me participate in PvP matches...

@Dutys_Fist, Dusk mantle blocks 50% as it says so on the card if it wasn't then am sure zanzarino would of change the %. @DeviousDragon99, This is so true so what new players should do is make their starter deck into a mono deck like the examples on here (http://elementscommunity.com/forum/index.php/topic,1190.0.html).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The majority of new players are poor at deck building, and they just cram there decks with too many elements alot of the time. Heres a tip for you people, try use only one element for now. When you become a better player you can try more complex strategies. If your using 5 or more elements in your deck, its classified as a rainbow and it is recommended you use quantum pillars to generate quanta for those decks
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Ladyzilla It consumes your quanta, it's a controversial feature of the game, but it there so you need to think what you do instead of ruching into it. When you play an instant and cancel it doesn't use the quanta it only happens when you activate a creature or weapon skill.

@Happymush11, If this game was "complete and utter mirroring of magic" Then this game should of been a money grab but no it's FREE. @99page, My favorite elements are Life,Darkness and Light basically healing type decks :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just a thought: Someone fixing it so that Cancelling your selection doesn't still use your quanta would be really nice.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont mean to be a bummer, but, this is a total magic the gathering clone.....this game is something to laugh at because of its complete and utter mirroring of magic.
sorry to all you vtran players, but i find this game pointless
play the real deal, you could actually make money from playing it.

@Gatts13, I would like to point out that if your opponent has more cards out it doesn't mean you will lose. rice2555 said he had 100hp and lost meaning his oppoonent didn't have better/more card so the only option left is that he decked out. @ogewo, If your not getting a card to keep at the oracle try your luck on elements mainsite (www.elementsthegame.com). @alboboy4444, The key for playing elements when you have projects to do is to play in moderation. :P @jonydeprules, Totally agree with you 100%.

i been playing elaments for almost a year and a half and this game just gets bette and better thers never anything bad with this game as long as you can use common sence you can beat this game hopefully with the deck im running now ill finish the fake god badge in 1 week

this game is probably the most addicting game on KONG. much much better than KONGAI. i have a science project and i don't think that I'll ever finish it. If any of you guys has a project, DONT start playing this game or you won't even start it. :) 10/5

Good game, but if the game loses connection during PVP you lose.
This happened to me 4 times...pretty annoying and frustrating.
For this it gets 3/5

@rice2555 When you are out of cards, and the the enemy has better or more cards out, (or still has cards on the hand) he wins... sorry, I am too lazy to read through the manuals... I also learn "on the fly" , but I lost like this three or four times... I had regeneration and enemy had poison and enemy would lose...but he had out more creatures and still had cards on the hand in each time I lost like this :D that's why I abandonned "regeneration" tactics and moved towards more aggressive one (Fire?)

Today marks the 2nd birthday for elements so if you would like to write something nice about the game you can at (http://www.kongregate.com/forums/22-elements/topics/166927-happy-2nd-birthday-elements). @rice2555, If your losing when you have 100hp it means your decking out outself which is a lost when there are no more cards in your deck.

I love how you can save this game. So many other minigames don't have save and you have to start over every time you play. All minigames need saves.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OK, so on the forums are really good decks, but here is mine (in general, not specific in cards): Gravity (I first tried to combine with fire or earth, but the quickest win path was pure gravity only) ... but this works only on NORMAL, on HARD (level 3) I will need to use one of the proven (from elementscommunity forum) ... I feel so stupid not to be able to find out myself...duh

@WOWEEEEEE1, To add to that you can counter a pharaoh deck with immortal type creatures, creatures that has growth, Using a rush deck that can do damage fast before the ai3 pharaoh deck can set up it's cards and using a deck with Creature controll cards. @Gatts13, Here is a topic based on decks made and tested for Ai3 with stats for version 1.27 (http://elementscommunity.com/forum/index.php/topic,21865.12.html) the only problem is that it isn't completed which you will need to view all it's pages. The old study is (http://elementscommunity.com/forum/index.php/topic,17903.0.html) which was for version 1.26.

Any ideas/hints on good deck? I just can't figure it out... and losing nearly each level 3 battle is making me crazy!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@WOWEEEEEE1 i once ate an ARMAGIO with scarabs. It's not impossible to eat a gold dragon. Although, phase dragons would be a better counter for pharaoh decks. OR just add a quintessence to anything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
in response to sgrlaway: just beat a pharaoh deck with the apparently underpowered darkness deck. He got out 3 pharaohs but without gravity quantum (which he lost via devourers and steals) to work them they are laughable. Then later on used vampire potions so no more scarabs. Secondly I would like to see scarabs try to eat a golden dragon. There are SO many ways to counter a pharaoh deck. Without the quantum or the ability's it is just a bunch of creatures with less than 4 attack power

@phantasy77, The score system is to keep those who can't handel the ai level from it untill they can. It's like you now started and you want to fight Ai5 (Half Bloods) with a starter deck which doesn't have a good chance to win. @sqrlaway, All elements have their advantages and disadvantages, you just need to utilize on its pros to the fullest. @GameDylan, You said "1/5 for copied game" which game is this a copy of please say so we can tell you what's fact or not.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Time is unbelievably stacked, life is a bitch, darkness/light tend to be desperately underpowered. Serious balance issues that aren't being addressed here. If you don't believe time is stacked, try bringing your deck against one of the Level 3s that brings a couple pharoahs, twenty scarabs and a bunch of hourglasses. You'll be on my side after that one.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Alright can someone change this idiotic score system? It's a F@#king card game its all about luck and im really tired of bieng so close and then my score just drops.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Gnomeo, About "there should be multi-coloured creatures" well i can tell you that some card ideas have made it to the last card stage at where it's up to zanzarino to add in the cards in the next patch or not. It would be basically the summoning cost is a different element from its ability cost. @Eduelmago & xrennerx50, The upgrading cost is too challenge players to play the game to earn the coins to upgrade, it isn't to be easy for that everyone could upgrade all the cards in the game quickly. @Eduelmago, You can't be mad that most players uses rush decks because it's the smartest thing to do, would you like to win fast or not? @chaoticblade, Both Darkness and Death are good elements it's all about how you use them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To give you some insight, chaoticblade, I haven't really used Darkness, but Death has some interesting combos, but by itself and with Gravity. Though, for annoying your opponent, Darkness appears to be better at that with cards like Steal (which lets you take one of their permanents) or Devourer (which limits how much quanta they can use per turn. I found that particularly annoying against AI players). Hope this helps. -DonRosenberger
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree that grinding for the upgrades is a tad annoying, and that the upgrades are a bit too expensive. The game is great overall, besides that... 4/5.
