Hm this is actually the first time someone says that i lack expereicne. I have 6* all cards counting both rares and upped, I'm master of earth and a card curator. And when you say that just add a couple of shards and no rush deck will be able to beat you, you are wrong. I never said that a deck with rares have the same amount of counters to one with without but it's certainly more than 10 that you are implying. Furthermore I'm not mad at you, I'm just correcting your statement. See you around.

Can't you see that the number of decks with no rare cards that do well in PVP is objectively smaller than the number of decks with rare cards that do well in PVP? Or are you REALLY saying that rare cards are bad? Stop bringing shame on yourself

@lugui01: Plat is not what decks should be focused around at all unless you are specifically trying to farm them. You dont' ever need to touch plat. Gods get you about the same amount of cash and dont' require nearly as many for half of there decks. And rares don't determine win rate in pvp. Ghostmare, for instance, gets fairly high win rate and doesn't have to use any. Super bows also don't need to use any can can do just fine. And ed does not lack experience in the least. And decks with rares do have just as many counters. Taking a little more thought doesn't mean they don't have plenty.

omegareaper7: Better win rate in arena definitely. Try to farm platinum with no rare cards. And definitely a better win rate in PVP, but the PVP is really luck based (it depends on who you are playing against)

edcedcedc you lack experience. I know that each deck has a counter, but it is a fact that GOOD decks with rare cards USUALLY have less possible counters than good decks with no rare cards. As example, a good deck with rare cards can be countered by only 10 decks while a good deck with no rare cards can be countered by 30. Rare cards have simply way too specific effects.

@lugui01: Better win rate against what? That really needs to be specified. In pvp, rares do not decide games. That is what the game is balanced around is pvp.

actually, miracle is so slow that it's not frequently used in pvp2, it would easily get outrushed. Sosac is hard countered by purify, which is a common card. You seem to be confusing win rate with how these decks do against each other in pvp, something which isn't exactly the same. You might also want to consider not only win rate, but turns to win - even though a rush deck may have a lower winrate than pdials in say bronze or ai3, using the rush deck is still way more efficient.

lugui01 For how long have you been playing this game? Your statement is false. Every deck got a counter. Even fully upped decks with rares can be countered by fully un upped without rares. Of course rares makes your deck better but just cause you have a miracle you dosen't win every single game vs non rares decks. It's actually quite the opposite when you got the rares you want you realize that they aren't as strong as you first thought. @iub3oir that was just a coincidence. Down voting this game won't result in another patch.

You guys can say anything you want, it is a fact that good decks with rare cards have a better win rate than good decks with no rare cards. I mean, it doesn't matters how effective your rush deck is, if your opponent has a couple of miracles or SoSacs you won't stand a chance.

@Hinanawi: Balance is not based around rarity in the least. Just because a lot of people like using stupid shards doesn't mean they are necessary in top level decks. Look at ghostmare, nova rushes, super bows, poison dials can even be used without any. Immo rushes, air rushes don't usually carry more then 6. etc etc. I suggest you get a look at the metagame as a whole before you blindly state things.

@Hinanawi that is because the specific rares they are based around, aren't that long in the game (or changed, in case of SoP). This game is not updated that much; there haven't been many updates to balance these shards. (last change they moved to cost in-element). It's false that rares are better than non-rares; SoV, SoG, SoSe are not overpowered. Not to mention the non-shard rares.

I hate how balance is largely based on rarity in this game - don't believe me? why do all the top upgraded decks have more than half their deck as rares?

Typodestroyer, arena decks lose hp based on how long they've been in the arena. The longer they're in, the more hp they lose. On the arena menu, if you hover over the question mark next to the "Age" stat, you can see how much this penalty is based on how old the deck is.

@BattleMage: Yeah, it's a decent combo, especially with Hope, but it's slow, so that counts against it. My current deck might be able to beat that out depending on how lucky it gets, and my current deck honestly isn't very good.
A question: in the arena, with a multiply-upgraded HP, I still only have one HP. The max I can get is around 72. Can I ask why?

Just an advice. Air and Life Element would be great. Because it has the firefly queen that generates a firefly, A firefly that generates Light element and a rustler that generates Life power that you would definitely need for the firefly queen to generate a firefly. Each 1 light element costs 2 life element.

@nekrodark: A weapon (permanent) that can't be stolen or destroyed means it can't be targeted. Endow doesn't work with morningstar/glory.

Is it a bug that I can't the "Endow" skill of the crusader on my own "Morningstar" ? I know that it can't be destroy or stolen but the skill don't destroy or steal them ... :s

Hey Hinanawi. Well the servers hasn't been fixed but the developer knows about it and he is a quick worker when he well starts to fix it. So it will most likely be fixed in a few days.

Don't rate FrozenGaia down. He makes a good point. Don't get obsessive when you say elements is entirely balanced. Cards like Antlion, Catapult and Flooding are barely ever used, according to statistics. Shards, while not outright Dragonball Z, are still almost always a good addition to any deck, without lowering stability. Therefore, they are slightly overpowered. Dim shield is actually excusable; if aether had another shield, perhaps it would get less use.

Minus a few of the shards and dime shield, correct Pork. I mean, dimensional shield is critical for the sucess of lower-end FG grinders, and we see SoD everywhere.

more cards do not mean better gameplay, how many ccgs are out there full of useless cards that are nvr used? instead the 5% of the rares (OP) cards are used over and over with the same strat, while in elements every card is up gradable and 99% are used alot in just about every play style which means theres no "WIN ALL" deck that cant be countered but still there are a few spam decks that are annoying and a bit harder to counter. i think more strategic cards should be added after balancing and testing but elements shouldn't be flooded with useless cards just to have more cards available.

@DragonCrusader: The game has a huge focus on pvp. That is end game. There is TONs of pvp stuff on the forums as well. Team pvp, war, leagues, etc. And more cards will come eventually. Its not like a sole developer has much time.

This game needs to be less grind-focused and more pvp focused :/ you should have to fight pvp in order to get real good money instead of killing the ai over and over again imo this is what the game needs to do to succeed. Also more cards for a wider variety of viable strategies, but be careful to make sure each playstyle still has its own distinct strengths and weaknesses.
