Wow I shoulda read these posts first. When I got to the last country, I was confident I would win so my troops were spread out and did not have a lot of samurias. They cam in and destroyed my research facilities and I could only create level one soldiers. Then my army of 50 giants fell and I gave up after that......

POINTLESS! After enemy attackes you, and you kill them, all thier units are already alive again and will just attack you next turn, while when you attack, you lose the units you lose in the battle.

If anyone wonders how to kill the ???, all you do is use an army of all samurai. When the game starts, set them on hold, but drag them to the enemy lighting guys. Only use the 'heal' tactic if you have it.

You should be able to turn off a place's special ability. The non-stop skeleton making- and gladiator making got annoying.

First add a soldier lab thing, then have all spearmen, and throw in a green giant every so often. Then after like you finish half the map, have all ningas. Haven't lost yet...

Hokushima!
hard to start with, then really easy in the later japan part, then the last thing is kinda asinine, but not tooo bad.

brilliant! i thought it was a little bit easy so i started again and did nothing for about 45 days and let the computer build up some monentum and it did make things quite tricky. i think if the graphics were less cartoonish and the fighting was a little more sophisticated you could probably find peopel who would buy the game. 5/5

Beh, game froze after playing it straight through. I knew it had memory leaks or something, but I didn't expect an actual freeze. =(((
The end. 4/5 for a pretty fun game.
