Some good uses for each unit:
Gladiator: Don't use.
Archer: Don't use.
Defender: Don't use, unless you want more specialization.
Spear: Use behind defender/knight (knight preferred), good for damage from safety.
Medic: Use a few, probably one for every defender/knight, maybe a couple more.
Ninja: Use behind your front lines and in front of your snipers (helps against soldier charges + alien rain on their turf)
Mechanic: Use only in defense if you decide on cannons or walls.
Mage: Don't use, unless you think it's cool.
Sniper: Should be your main ranged unit.
Knight: Put in front, great tanks.

i think the only way to defeat it is if u leave one guy alone up in hokkaido with a huge army defending them from attcking u and making masses of green giants for about 1000 turns

Soldier: There's only one guy left shouldn't we surround him and attack on all sides?
Other Soldiers: NO! stay in a line a only let 2 people attack him at at time.

I LOVE This Game! I Play It All The Time Now =P And I Think From Reading Top Comments You Should Make A Part 2 And Make Badges Such As, "Rule The World" And, "Full Green Giant Army" =D And On Number 2 You Should Make Max People Higher With More Upgrade Slots On Tows, And More People To Buy Like An Super Epic Dragon For 1k Or Something! =D Well Anyway, Love This Game And If You Agree With What I've Said, Click The [+]

nvm i was wrong galactic invaders is hecka hard yet boring as well only like maybe 1\20 people probably beet it so if like challenges u might like the other game but honetly i like this game 50% better.

Btw if u guys love this game try out galactic invaders it's super fun and hard i can't pass the 1st lvl but seriously play it it will blow you away if u like this. P.S start out with Armori in this if u want to rush everyone. Also just try galactic invaders out it IS MORE EPIC THEN THIS believe me.

Great game just wish there was more in game stuff like make buildings and stuff and also a part 2 and pls make a button that can gett rid of your old thing for a sector. Oh and needs to have a diffculty setting. And also could use more units\spells

It would be nice if you could tell certain lines of defence to retreat instead of the whole army. I have to choose between sacrificing my long ranged units or capturing the area.

I find that the most versatile, reasonably cheap, and powerful, useful unit in the beginning is the knight. It is more useful than the gladiator by far. In the begining, you get the knight and spam it. It will get you pretty far.

If you make a second game I think that you should have it so you can upgrade your troops (not getting different ones, but stronger or more health or something).

AI is pretty bad D: its hard to beat boss when your people just go around killing the little ones while the boss kicks ur troops ass

heres how i survived i chose hokaido got everything the niigatta and fukishima made walls at those 2 citys maxed my soldier upgrades then research and filled the walled cities up with ninjas and no attacks took it

This is how I started. I chose Wakayama (sacred ground) as my start point then chose graveyard for it's specialty. 5 Skeletons every day to own anything else. Fun ._.
