Why are there Gladiators in Japan? I think it should be Samurais and Samurais never used shields. Also Samurais were basically the lowest ranking soldier in the army not the highest, Generals are another story by the way.

strategy to stay alive with various soldiers;
nights: slowly move away from enemy short-ranged soldiers (while attacking) when on one side of the screen quickly switch sides
ninjas: move to one edge of the screen and when enemies get there switch sides quickly
samurai: click will and once health is low run to enemy ranged units and use the healing ability
green giants: click will
any ranged units: your screwed

YAY!!! I officially beat the game with Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Yamagata, Miyagi, Niigata, and Fukushima. (and proved that I have no life)

is it even possible to win with gunma? i tried three times, the first two times i couldn't conquer one prefecture. The last time, i conquered half the country, then miyazaki desimated all of my troops. try with gunma

So far I've won with Okinawa, Hokkaido, Kagoshima, and Oita! Now try to win with OITA!!!!! TIP: To win the game, you will need Green Giants. I won with only 8 giants, you don't need 25. But if you just send a huge number of samurai and snipers at them, you will lose every time.

this game is really good even for 2D graphics that means its REALLY good but the alein things were kinda hard they took 50 % of japan !! so i spammed green giants

TIP on unidentified organism:use 25 green giants and dont kill the last country until you have like 100 green giants or samurai [+] to let anyone who cant finish the game know how to finish it

one bug : When you use Eos to revive your dead soldiers into skeletons, the skeletons don't attack, and toggling to Will doesn't change this.

this is one of the most epic games on kongregate but like transformice needs badges. if you have all samurais you need some green giants to win if you start in hokkaido ut any other place start with the defence cannons and build up your money and your on your way

finally beat the game.
tip; use constant samurai force from the three ??? island on the main base, i had to send 5 waves nonstop to destroy the boss. a war of attrition is best played against the boss

It is really easy all i needed to get most of the way was max knights and the increased damage or zeus if i felt damage wasnt enough then i used sammuris for the boss i maxed the three islands with sammuris then used two islands to wack its backup then used the final for a 25-1 fight using heal instead of zeus cause i was feeling smug

I think there could be some more updates. Suggestions:
More Upgrades - Blacksmith: Upgrade defense when defending a place, Para trooping: During a defense weak units come in battle by parachutes just like shower of weak organisms, War drums: more attack during a defense, Castle: Every 25 turns there will be made a warlord, Eco-Friendly: A ent will be in the middle of the field protect your units in this defense, Portal: In a defense every 20 seconds you summon any random monster except too strong monsters like the green giant, Joint Attack: 15% Chance that troops you kill withdraw to their territory but when attacked their, they join in with you.
More Strategies - Athens: 25% to dodge far-ranged attacks, Posiden: making a flood which enemy's speed decreases for a while and damages them 65-167 HP each, Ares - enemy's cannot hit for 10 sec.

Won it. I seem to see if you attack the boss you must control 3 of his side islands and he will only attack when full. Wait until he attacks and then fend them off with warriors( Samurais). You can now either kill the boss with organisms you brainwashed along with warriors( Samurais) or if you are like me, kill it with 8 green giants along with samurais + brainwashed organisms.
