to quote an idiot (samsearan)
"Don't play!!! Retarded and there is nothing worth winning the game for exept, you beat it, great???? "
What did you expect to get by playing it? A muffin?

it's kind of like risk only more choices and you don't roll dice. I like the little voices that they make heh.... funny.

This game is so bad its not even worth rating!!!!!!I lagged soooooooo much that half of my army died before they started attacking!!!!!

some people who just start the game doesn't really see the use of the brainwash facility, until the last part where you can use "those" "things" after you killed them xP

Your AI are such retards... I lost a battle even though the enemy only had 1 attacking unit (spear dude) cuz my guys were just sittin there letting him kill them off...

Heh.
I killed off all the bosses minions with two waves, then sent in 25 snipers. Helios, some luck, dead.
Rather, dead *just* before the revive for the enemy set in.

thedarkgypsy312, you get the same effect with the freeze tactic. It offers more flexibility too as far as strategy goes. I think those two abilities are the best.
toggling from holding the line to attack at will at key points is also important.

i love how each game is different too. Plus, darkgypsy, that overwhelming you talk about is natural, but you lso have to take into account unit types and tactics, aswell as the provinces' special effects, so its a bit more complicated. My advice would be to use walls and archers for defence, and ninjas for attack, keep tactical research high and dont underestimate defenders!

The reason I tell you this, is because by recognizing it, you can plan ahead of time and predict the battle more thoroughly, giving you a decisive advantage. Another reason is that I want to point out the overpowered 'hades' tactic. In these balanced battles, using the attack strategy may offer more total damage, but by using the hades strategy you almost gaurantee you get the first kills, and an early advantage is far better than total damage.
Hope this helps someone, feel free to copy and repaste.

In battles that are balanced, or in other words have a soldier difference less than 3 for under 10, less than 5 for under 20, and less than 10 for above 20(Examples; Unbalanced = 3v9 11v17 and 32v44 Balanced = 5v6 14v18 and 26v32) There is a crucial strategic point that must be recognized to take full advantage of in-battle tactics. I call it the tipping the point, when one side completely overwhelms the other, because he gets the first kills. Even if the battle is started fighting at 'will', the lines are going to remain fairly intact, so there will be no deaths in the very beginning, just passing hits back and forth. When the first few die, the soldiers no longer occupied with them will be free to help others, swinging the advantage way over to them.

You don't need so many giants to finish this game. I finished the whole thing in 55 days using only 13 giants and samurai. You can use the giants to tank for the samurai, the samurai as your mobile troops. The boss level was easy. I came in with 13 giants, rest samurai and used attack boost; all samurai and two giants died but it did the job. The rest of the prefectures easily fall to all knights with the freeze strategy. When you get enough prefectures transition to samurai which you should use to fight the weird guys.

I take aomori, then capture the spot north of it early, and with that huge advantage, its easy to expand. I have about 1/3 of the map, the runner up has 2-3 territories total

Really great game in concept and execution. The only thing that i would change would be to have some of the military base powers apply to more than just that prefecture. (hospitals, brainwash, and prison camp)

Very lazy game...
Not much to it. It's really once sided, once you get a full wave of ninja you can conquer every city in Japan...2/5

Too easy... Need a settings button that let you choose (will) as the default action, changing will/hold sucks and doesn't work consistently for any number of clicks, no challenge after half the map is taken, additional bonus to territory is pointless for some units, you can't have the artillery an upgrade except for that zone, but then you can generate units and send them to any zone. pretty silly. 3/5

I tried really hard to like this game. It seemed my cup of tea.
Buuuut...
After three straight complete obliterations without capturing another single prefecture of my own, I realized this game was way out of balance and completely awful. 1/5
