Good WAY TO defend, put 10 defenders in a line wth 15 knights behind that, i concoured forces of samurais wth that tactic, the defenders take the damage whilst the knights use there sprears to reach in and kill them

nice (poorly drawn) game (not that i can do better but... XD ) its AWESOME better then feudalism and other capture games i know ;) 5/5 but it IS kinda hard :S i got pwned in 15 min or sumthing

The interface is clunky. I wish there were keyboard shortcuts for moving the map and zooming out. I realize the mouse wheel can zoom it out, but it also moves my page up and down so that won't work.

I realized I unfairly rated this game harshly the first time, as many of the issues can be attributed to the new chat features. Rating increased to a 4.

Good game, but needs some work. I like in particular how hard it is starting in landlocked Honshuu prefectures. I have to agree that it gets ridiculously easy once you get Samurai though.

played with Hokkaido n finish in 38 turns. expand aggressively using only knight. dunno y ppl like amauri so much becos i hate skeletons. knight have longer reach than most melee units. pulling them back a little allow them to inflict n not take any melee damage. build soldier lab 1st n giant magnet until turn 14. then build all labs max n continue with giant magnet. place covering fire at ??? entrance to make invasion easier. giving giant splash damage is really a bad thing.

lol. only 25? i had the last 3 minor organism states filled with giants. i had them early and forgot about them while i beat most of japan with samurais, but good thign i had them for the boss.

5/5 but if your having trouble do this:
Buy Nagasaki (near the bottom left of the island). Get the Graveyard, and attack the neighbouring army when you have your army full of gladiators, archers and skulls. In battle, use the speed strategy and you will (most probably win). You will now have 2 spots for your army and noone can attack your other one.

for people having trouble with the ???, 15 samurai and 10 snipers worked for me. Give your snipers a chance to hit the tanks from behind, more dmg.

Wait a minute. Helios isn't a Japanese god. He's a Roman god. And the game needs to have a better way to scroll the screen. But I give it a 4/5 overall.

Tipp for beggining: Choose Aomori (Right below topmost region) and Pick a good defense (I reccomend Defensive Cannons or Barrier) Buy 5 swordmen and 4 Bowmen. Next turn, Immediately attack Hokkaido. During battle, hit the God of Power Strategy and click the thing below your groups oof troops. You will win the battle. After this you can figure out :P

The random attack from Atlantis, showering you in ridiculously powerful enemies with entirely too much HP and spawning in overwhelming numbers was a poorly executed attempt at making the first part of the game a little too repetitive. I give it a 3/5 for having room for improvement, and a few irritating points.
