for the ??? island just take the 3 around it 1st and then hit it with full samuri armys and a gree giant or 2 if ur bored

oh and if u combo snipers and samuri then u can kill the ??? island... thats how i do it i just strike 3 times in 1 turn then the next day i slaughter them because they ither got low numbers or ive killed the green dude

I personally don't see why everyone complains about the ??? islands.
They're fairly easy. There's just quite a few of them. Heck, the first time I beat this, I beat it with just samurai.
Second time I implemented 2 teams of giants. One that was 20 giants with 5 medics, the other that was 20 snipers with 5 giants.
They were destroyed easily enough.

so many oodles of fun, i beat it, for the boss island attack from all three minor islands with samurai on all three and three green giants on last one

I also advise you to save often, and save before a battle that you are not sure you can win, or if you are testing a new idea

easiest route is to just build the big green giants with medics. The??? didn't stand a chance. I just mowed through them all.

This is an awesome game! But I can't beat the 4 black ??? levels. I can only defend myself because whenever I attack I lose.
SO THIS GAME DESERVES 500/5 BUT PLEASE NOT MAKE THE BLACK ISLANDS SO HARD!

Started as wakayama and try to get samurai ASAP. when the islands come take the 3 with 2 samurai groups and 1 sniper. then first attack the last island with samurai (increased attack power) to kill their tanks then again with samurais (increased speed) to kill their ranged units (this attack may kill boss sometimes) and then snipers (increased attack) to finish it

@knight9910- I honestly think he didn't put that much detail on purpose. If you had a sense of humor, you might find it funny that there's snipers and gladiators...

If theres anyone having trouble with last 3 islands my advice is this: Put 25 samurias in the prefactures next to the border between you and the island. now wait for them to attack you not the other way round. this way you get bonus as defender. when you win rebuild once and attack. Repeat for 3 small islands.
For last island you should have 25 samurias in adjacent islands, so 75 in total. Wait for island to attack you. Then attack it with remaing island should guarentee victory

An easy way to rape the opposition is get 4 strategy buildings( or 5 if u like) and then just buy spear men. when the battle starts use the Freeze enemy power and take out the enemy infantry(avoid the shields if they have them) and once that is done get close enough to the ranged units and they dont have a chance in hell ;)

The islands are lame....
The difficulty goes from hard at the start, to easy when you get ninjas and giants to extremely hard when the islands pop up since the rollers completely own everything.... Including giants...

One of the worst games I've ever played. Gladiators? Snipers with laser scopes? Samurai using European broadswords and kite shields? Effing GREEK GODS? This is a Sengoku game! The level of ignorance about Japan and its culture put on display here is so astounding I'm honestly surprised the creator actually managed to make his map look almost remotely like Japan.
The fact that he at least used Japanese names for the Prefectures does get him a 3/5, then he loses 2 points because this game isn't actually fun, interesting, or worthwhile in any way.

Fun game, But the green giants is overpowered. When I get them in day 15 no army even come close to hurting me until the extra islands appear. But by that time I have so many giants that the last 4 islands is a walkover. I lost the first time because I didn't expect the extra islands and all my giants was in one end of the map.
I also think it i a problem that your power grows exponentially. The game is a bit challenging in the beginning. But it quickly becomes a walkover to conquer the rest.
