I think it's sorta interesting that there's more gems around than you need to beat the game by collecting them. Haven't yet done a playthrough to see what happens if you keep collecting after he tells you that's enough. It's kinda a nice feature though since it means that you can beat the game without going insane trying to figure out where that one last gem is hidden.

I cannot find words to describe the excellence that is this game.
The gameplay was enjoyable, the storyline was interesting and engaging, and both endings I've discovered were equally epic.
I'm confused as to why this is the first game I've seen by this creator, to whom I say:
Zillix, make more awesome happen.

11 creatures killed and souls collected, and the guy in the cave won't tell me anything new. Maybe because I already collected all the gems?

Good exploration game, the only problem I had with it is one the first play through I completed all three of the quests before finishing, only to get the world destroyed by evil. As I had already spent an hour or so on the game and seen all its content (except for the alternate ending credits) I didnt really see why I should go through all the busy work for 15 seconds of content.
4/5, would have liked it better if I could start mid way through the game on a replay.

I loled at the comment of one of the NPCs: "don't trust anyone" as I thought, "You mean like this god I'm collecting gems for?" I knew he'd be evil in the end.

Put the FRIKKIN sword and message some place I can reach it DAD! Preferably BEFORE I find out about what's going on...

What a great little game.
Love the music, love the exploration.
Some will hate that you don't get a lot of hints about what to do, but I had fun.

you kill 10 creatures and go to the giant maybe he'll grant you your last ending. I really dont know i only got 2 and i give up because it's so time consuming

Dear January, i was tempted to play this game by a description that bore a marked resemblance to our shared world of looming. I was disappointed to find, however, that it was merely metroidvania, as devoid of charm as the Oarboar is devoid of life. I shall be returning to you shortly; fondly yours, September.

well i did it in this order and here how i felt after each one. 1: give the guy all the gems then get the sword, find out he's evil. how i felt: SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.... 2: kill 10 guys then kill him, find out im now the evil guy. how i felt: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU... 3: climb up get the sword and kill him: YAY

i LOVE these games, they play with your heart and mind and make you really think about stuff, also the worst endings are the easiest to get

Amazingly well done metroidvania. Thanks for this! 5/5'd but I'll have to keep playing to find the item that goes in the third slot, second row, and SOME day I'll get to kill that snow leopard!

Good ending:
1. Jump off.
2. Go to the left map, past the guy who asks you if you look for gems, go to the LEFT, THEN UP, to find the GRIP BOOTS.
3. go BACK to the original falling place, go to the RIGHT map , get to the TOP for flippers.
4. Find as many of the endurance fruits as possible ._. sorry about that. XD i don't wanna list ALL OF THOSE >-<
5. Bottom of the ocean --> PEARL (far right side) --> keep going LEFT, resurface, get the endurance fruit to the LEFT of the resurfacing area, then go 2 times, to the left to get the GRIP gloves.
From here climb "the wall that goes on forever"
;) you can figure it from there if you've gotten the sword.

Weren't you that guy that made that weird stage on newgrounds? You were this guy and their was this person called july. She was your wife and you were in a black space. You were a white stick like character? Memories a bit old.

anyone else surprised at the vulcano with the random epic music, this is a good game, but a little long and confusing, im not about to go through it all again for an alternate ending though

Great game. Though i was wondering, is there any chance that the location you start from when you lode can be changed, i was hoping to collect all the gems but now i cant on account of always stabbing the alter upon loading. im not so sure i want to start a new game just for that purpose ether.

Awesome game! what it would benefit from is: 1) definitely a map 2) maybe a newgame+ since it has multiple endings 3) noticed lag when I killed any creature. 4) Portals should indicate where they take you (I've taken the wrong one) and be able to take you back to Malor. 5) checkpoints... I think the best way to have checkpoints is "teleport to last flower touched" or something similar.

i don't understand:
i collected all the gems, rose up, but then ther was a wall on top of me, but the voice said "hold UP to rise" buti couldn't pass the rock...

SPOILER ALERT: 1st Ending-Get all the gems and return to the temple, then float up and get the sword. 2nd Ending-Kill 10 creatures and return to the cave and get the ability to zap yourself back up, then get the sword. 3rd Ending-Get lots of endurance and go to the cliff on the far left, climb all the way back up to the surface, and get the sword. There might be another one that has to do with the life berry at the cliff... rate this up to keep it alive

These kinds of stories are getting to be very common and predictable in these types of games.
step 1: help someone
step 2: Oh no he's evile!
