There is something weird about when you charge lightning when catching your breath. Your character still recovers energy, but when you jump, he stops lightning and you need to press 'z' again to use it.

+ if you got the lighting and then went home and killed everyone.... "JUMP OFF A CLIFF NOW B****!!" *zap* "WHAT WAS THAT?!?! GO BACK WHERE I CAME FROM?!?!? EAT THIS!!" *zzaaaaapp!* *get treasure* the demon lord guy laughs and destroys my world.... "awwww s***...." *zap?*

There's a pseudo-glitch to get around the island that blocks your heavenly ascent. Just whip out your parachute while holding up and you can move out of the beam and still go up. Dodge around the island, and the NPC up there will be very confused as to how you got there - he'll even say so! Fun game!

when you climb up that beam of light, near the top, use your parachute and go left out of the beam then back right and you will be on top of that little bit of land.

Apparently he wasn't just being a jerk, I literally had to jump off the cliff to advance.

I think it's insanely funny that when you go back to your home, if you have the lightning, you can zap the tutorial prompts for souls :D

Heh, interesting versions on the ending. Once I started finishing collecting the gems though I definitely knew what would happen. Awesome game and awesome story, 5/5.

Having found a youtube of the ending (with the fruit, since I did it without), it looks like the big difference is that with the fruit, the other people at the beginning don't call you a weakling anymore, while without, they're still jerks. The game seems to expect that if you take the good ending, you get the fruit. Other than that, there is no notable difference that I saw between my playthrough and the fruit-taken ending.

Does taking Youth Berry affect ending in some way?
I didn't take it and used just normal endurance - I had to be very quick though - because I supposed, that it may be some malicious trick

An amazingly fun, challenging, and deep game. Though I'm not sure why everyone suddenly starts liking me just because I climbed back up the "good" way, or how my buddies back home seem to have this uncanny knowledge of what I did while I was away.

I liked it. The only thing i didn't like was the 3 endings. I don't like it when a game makes me play it 3 times just to see what happens. :/
