three different endings i found:
1. Help Malor.
2. Kill 10 creatures (using lightning) and become the disciple of "the Deep One"
3. Get back by your own power.
Havent tried the third one yet, but it seems like the "nice " ending compared to the others.

This combines all the best elements of console gaming from when I was a kid. Had this been written around the time of Atari through the Super NES it would have sold millions. This is one hell of a game. I guess it's safe to say I LOVE it! Keep this up and submit it to some gaming companies. You might just get hired :)

amazing. breathtaking, with fabulous ending. I was led-on and betrayed. 5/5. this shall stay on my favorite list, till the time when MALOR rises.

There are only two jump power-ups (you get them before you jump into the abyss); you need them + the parachute (found in the maze under the pillars) in order to get to the "jungle in the far east" (and the lightning power-up... which allows you to kill things, but you need to avoid killing things in order to get one of the endings... still need lightning to get the youth/infinite endurance though). Keep exploring. Dunno about the snow leopard; that's bugging me too.

well, it would be a perfect game, but there was absolutly NO CHECK POINTS!!! i had to restart the climb over and over and over because of those jumping accross for the ropes and the ladders, i kept double jumping cuz i was use to using the parachute by that point. either way 4/5 CHECKPOINTS

With overly sensitive controls and music that frequently gave me a headache and a want to put my computer on mute, the only thing that could save this game was the gameplay. Mind you, I find the pixel graphics quite fitting so as to hide the truth about this game.
While I admit that i had at first found the game extremely boring and actually rather annoying, as I progressed through the game, and explored further and further, the game grabbed me and brought me back.
The exploration of such a large world may seem quite daunting and tedious, but in the end, it was well worth it for such an immersive experience. I never thought the actions I took would have an impact on anything in the story, yet it did.
Well done, this is one of the better games i have played, here in this vast internet.

The flowers are a brilliant idea, more games should have something like them. My only suggestion, add some way that you can put them back the way they were. Passing it turns the flower "off" standing in front and hitting a button turns it back "on"

how do you kill creatures? I seem to be screwed, my jumping isn't high enough to get to the "jungle in the far east"... Help??? Also, what the heck is that weird white leapord looking creature in the snowy area? The on I can't reach?

Pthbbbt. There's no way he could have gotten all the gems because I roasted him with thunder and reaped his soul before he had enough to empower him. Then I collected the rest of the gems for myself. I AM MALOR! Tremble before me! MUHAHAHA!

Very cool game. But the only issue I have with it is the menu music... it sounds suspiciously similar to Mass Effect's menu music. In fact, they're almost the same.

Great game, proves that arty feel and a somewhat open-ended meaning which makes you reflect and think doesn't have to come at the expense of solid and fun gameplay and exploration elements.
Forever, endeavor.

Fun game, I enjoy the exploration/increasing abilities nature of the game. Reminds me a little of Knytt with the critters and all. Nice job.

This game REALLY reminds me of "An Untitled Story"... The exploration, power-ups, and overall feel of the games are pretty similar. ._.
