To have fun with a game, I need a bit identification with the hero. How shall I identify with a hero if I can hardly recognize him?

Excellent game in the Metroid-vania mold... also, love the twisty ending, don't see those too often. Going to start playing through the other two endings now, keep it up with the great game development. 5 stars, for sure.

Also can we get a page to download the music without needing a decompiler? I like it and would like to put them into Elona to replace some of the cheesy town music. The fire mountain and jungle music would be nice for boss floors in dungeons.

false: ghostman. You just have to not break the limit. Killed the Deep One followers, the climber guy (I wanted my character to keep the gloves) and the one annoying dwarf that's all 'fine, see if I help you.' that's a dick in all the endings. (next to the 'i kinda missed you' guy). Still got best ending, lol. Don't eff with this dwarf!

Oh man... and I WANTED to get that tiger... and that buried seed... and get the non-talking special creatures in the story to talk. O_O

For anyone interested, since no comments seem to have been made, there is a lightning sword that you can get after acquiring the gloves, the glider and enough endurance. And with it, you can get a berry that grants eternal youth, and you'll never lose endurance.

Reminds me of both Knytt Stories and Shadow of the Colossus (because of the climbing/endurance scheme + the fruit). Absolutely wonderful, I looked up and realized hours had gone by. Also, the soundtrack sounds reminiscent of Quest 64, a personal joy for me. Great job! Thank you for making this wonderful game/art!

@wankie12 on loading times: It has more to do with your Internet connection (and any other applications or pages loading that may use bandwidth) than the speed of your computer.

►WARNING EXTREME SPOILER ALERT◄:
Wow I played all the endings and i was pissed about 2 of 3.
1) Climbing up the mountain: to do this you need at least 15 or all fruits, and parachute, lightning ability,and grip gloves. Just a lot of climbing. Get the sword go back and jump down.
2) Killing the ten creatures for green thing: just get the lightning powers, kill ten creatures, visit the green thing, he'll send you up, get the sword go back down. This is the 2nd worst ending... you'll see why
3) Get all gems: There are 11 and you only need ten, they are not that hard to find.
This is the worst ending... Listen to what people tell you around the place they all try push you away from this ending...5/5

omg!! what a great, awesome, addictive game!!! there are sooooo many things to do, I managed to make all 3 endings, and the graphs are really cute! loved it 5/5 it needs a sequel plz! :D

i would say this game is a success! i love the story, and i like the way its all pixely! btw i thought that my caracter had one eye and a leaf on his head! :D

i saved the world! yay! it may have been harder than the other endings, but it was worth it. this game should have all the guys up in heaven cheer for thear savior! ;)

Great game. Even though the endings were revealed to me there is something very significant I missed: **Spoiler alert** Gloves. Like every NPC said you can find them in the water... kind of. Every time I replayed this horrifyingly addictive game I was always trying to get the 'good ending' but always missed the gloves.
