This is genuinely one of the best action games I played on this site. Simple concept, but great variety of modes/levels and replay value. Shame that it has a somewhat mediocre rating (3.67/5), probably got pulled down by people who rage-quitted and gave 1 star for the challenging (but fair) difficulty that makes this game worth playing over and over again.

A simple goal, simple to understand mechanics, nice aesthetics and creative ideas. Easy enough even for me to complete most levels, hard enough to get all stars at a level. Everything seems right! I also like that a player has to learn how to behave in different levels.

I lost my progress upon restarting, is this supposed to happen? High scores are still there but everything game wise is back to beginning.

It's likely faster to get the easy badge by replaying Guardian (3) than the first level. Since you don't have to move like a tractor in that level. Icy Hot Balls (11) also works well but it's way more intense.

simple concept. good progression. the only real problems i can see is that it's designed solely with the mouse in mind: a potential problem if you're a laptop owner. i would also have liked to have keyboard controls, even if only to simply see how downrightly horribly hard it would be on AWSD or arrows. just for funsies.
also, could use more than one tune for the background music. nice for a while, but if you're OCD to get everything, that's gonna get old pretty fast. thanks for the mute, but i shouldn't have to rely solely on my own houselist when this starts to groan on me.

okay i tink tis is nice game may be but i dont no how to do upgrade so tat te lazor cant hit ball no more coz now i die all te time coz of lazor and i cant jump to next lvl witout upgrade devloper so weres it ???? or its bug may be ????? coz tats not nice i dont wana tat its bug

I just love how this starts with a basic Flash games concept, keep away, and iterates and iterates on a core concept in a way that has all the challenges feeling fresh and reasonable. I keep coming back.

Holy memory leak batman. Firefox goes from ~350k memory use to over 1.2m in the span of 15 minutes. Fun game but would love to not have to crash firefox and reopen it every 3 levels to keep it running smoothly.

BUG - The Back arrow and the Replay arrow are missing. I had to watch a video and then click where the back arrow should be to return to the menu.

Hmm, half the time I die the laser is between the red and blue ball because it hopped the red one. (laser and ball both moved between drawing)

Got my first impossible badge in a few years here. It's a pretty great game, not much to complain about. If there was one, it'd be the unity engine. I solved it by zooming out. Dark Chroma Zones / Spin Zone ... I was playing on ~33% zoom. I like the mix of challenges: once you get past learning "the swivel" to direct the blue ball forward, you learn to jab the blue ball, you learn how to avoid getting boxed in, you cry about parallel lines, you cry about dark world. You try enough, you get lucky once, you never have to do that level again. My scores:

Makes sense that it's called Beam Ball, because I'm both beaming and having a ball. Yes, you don't see wholesome puns that often. This game is great and deserves it though. 5/5

Stopping at the hard badge, but I appreciate the time and effort that went into this game. Logical concepts, simple game play. Very fun. The concept of the dark world levels is a unique and brilliant idea. Love it!

The second level, Jupiter, is heavily reliant on luck. Many times two lines will cross each other with their red zones out of reach, making it impossible to go any further.

I love how many different variations on the same concept there are. However there are many times in levels where you don't get direct control over the blue ball that impossible situations can happen, such as the blue hitting an intersection between a red and a blue or getting your red trapped in the small corner of two blues that you can't speed up the hits on.

My best score is 6. I get hit from both sides at the same time and I can't keep the blue dot from getting hit. Super slow reflexes combined with lag makes this game impossible to play for me. :(
