This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. HeadSpin: Spacerace is the sequel to the hugely successful puzzle game Headspin: Storybook. It takes the same concept – a magical clockwork popupbook coming to life before your eyes which you need to arrange symmetrically – and taking it to new heights. More objects, more levels, more detail, more everything in fact.
Inspired by comic books of the 1930s, 40s and 50s, this game looks and feels like leafing through a long-long treasure you’ve found in the attic. Take your adventurers from the dusty desert to the depths of space, fight giant space-squid, discover searingly-coloured brave new worlds – it’s all here, and just waiting for you to turn the page.
Hand-made paper characters pop up in front of you, a different puzzle each time you play. The game has a fully interactive score, composed by Luke, which ebbs and flows with the story and helps take you on an enchanting, fantastical journey through space.
