Has a game on Kongregate inspired you, taught you important lessons about how diseases spread or where *%&$#* Madagascar is? If someone offered you a choice of a Nonillion plus an Octillion, a Duodecillion, or a Vigintillion of gold doubloons, would you immediately know which to choose *and* how to write them all in scientific notation because you have played *that* many Idle Games on Kongregate?
Well here is the chance to share your love of learning and your love of Kongregate and Bring out Your Memes!
"How can I contribute to the enlightenment of the gaming masses?" you are probably asking, well,
**First** get or make an image from Kongregate. It has to have a screenshot from a Kongregate Game, part of the site, Kongpanions or Kong avatars arranged on a background, etc.

**Second** add some wholesome text. Think of all that Kongregate games and the Kongregate community have taught you over the years, the ways you've been inspired:

There's more information on the contest page, where you can upload and vote! The contest ends on September 27 (at midnight, like, as soon as it's no longer September 26, contest is over).
Post your entries here to brag and share the fun and talk about how much better your memes are than mine!

Kongregate server time: Pacific U.S. You should have plenty of time, though.

^^ FFT, we would really like you to get something from Kongregate in the image. You could do the search with Kongregate's search tools or get an avatar image or the Kongregate K in there somewhere.

I'm told to submit this.

^^ The order entries show up in is random each time the page shows up. It does not sort by vote or date uploaded (I checked since this was a concern raised previously). Obviously, there is still some advantage to entering during the early days, since the entries up now already have a chance to get votes, while later entries will have to rely on the votes they get on later days.
There is only one of the three categories for which entering early could give an advantage, and seeing the entries and voting as the contest progresses is part of the fun. I also have to say that in all the contests I can recall us running with gallery voting, the winner by user votes have never been one we didn't find very deserving. In fact, often the one many of the admins would have picked has been the mod or vote winner, so we have to go back and pick another. If we ever thought the best didn't win, then we'd try to correct that with our prize pick.

I wanted to see if submissions got in without some sort of filter or check. I sent in a picture of a banana. Sorry

I feel like this should get some more exposure (Kong's twitter/fb doesn't seem to do the trick, maybe front page?) as with the limited amount of people voting, someone could rig their own entries by voting for them through multiple devices like their xbox.
Not to say anyone is doing that. Who would do such a thing?
Anyway, I like the Upgrade Complete one. Not sure who made it.

Not if all of those devices share the same IP.... not like I haven't tried to use my xbox or anything. I've also been trying to get people involved like HyperHippo Games with this contest too and sharing it around thorugh social media/discord servers etc. :D

Couple questions:
1. Are the memes strictly static images or can they be multi-media (i.e. gif/video).
2. Are we allowed to cross-promote our memes on other sites and platforms (as other individuals in this contest have done)?
3. Is the contest strictly focused on Kongregate-based games that inspired us or can we create content based on inspiration brought upon by notable figures in the Kongregate community (i.e. admins, moderators, significant events, etc.)?

Sorry for not getting to the questions sooner. I am not sure how well gives would show up in the gallery, but you could certainly post your gif/video version here.
I'm fine with cross-promoting/asking people to vote, voting for your own each day is also ok. The intention is that you only vote for one work a day, so we prefer that users not try and go around that, at least not ridiculously so.
The only requirements are the ones in the rules. You need a Kongregate visual, but it can actually be a photoshopped banner or avatar, so the inspiration doesn't have to be a game. People are more likely to vote for something they recognize, of course.

*Carefully reads the rules . . .*
It seems at no point does it mention that the lesson learned needs to be positive so I have submitted the following for consideration:

Now lets see if this entry touting one of Kongregate's top series will garner approval. =P
*Adjusts halo . . . *
