In their own words, [Extra Life](https://www.extra-life.org) is a 24-hour charity gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals that has raised more than $30 million for local hospitals. Individuals or teams pledge to play games for 24 hours straight, and then their friends and family donate to support them! The money all goes towards buying expensive equipment, funding important research and specialized training, and helping cover costs for kids who can't afford the expensive care they need. A marathon isn't as fun without seeing it happen, so we're also going to stream the whole thing from the offices for everyone to see! Our event will start on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 10:00AM Pacific Time, and will end around 10:00AM Pacific Time on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Yes, that's a 25 hour event, because of Daylight Savings. ### Who is participating? Our team is all Kongregate staff who are interested in raising money for childrens' hospitals. Ok, I guess that's all of us. The actual event participants are going to be people who have the time and interest in sticking around for 25 straight hours of sleep-deprived gaming. Yes! Those events are always awesome. How about some good ol' Minecraft? Would be nice to see what you can come up within an hour/ day. Maybe as some sort of side project. Where you take a look on the progress from time to time. On top of that you could make an "auction" for places to participate in the game or something. Good luck with the fundraising!

Hey :) I'd like to contribute to this, but currently the best payment option for me would be via Paysafe Card. This option is already available when purchasing Kreds directly on Kongregate, is there any possibility of using this option for the donation too? And for how long will this remain open? Thanks :D

Thanks :D Hi there Pixelbass! Extra Life isn't a program that we own, we're just participating in it, so we don't have the ability to change what donation options they allow. Our event is on November 3, so that's the ideal date to get your donations in by!

I donated but it didn't ask me what my stormbound username is, how do we get the rewards?

I think Stormbound is linked to your Kong account so if you've put your username in, you should be fine. If you forgot to put your username in, then PM IAmTheCandyman with info like how much you donated and if you've left any specific message or anything like that, and he should be able to credit you for it.

When you donate, you can leave a message with the donation, and most users put in their Usernames there in the message or as the name of the donator. If you've donated and have forgotten to leave a message including your username, you can PM IAmTheCandyman and explain you forgot and include how much you donated (if you have a screenie of the receipt, that always always helpful to include). After that, you only need to wait until the event is over, and you get your prizes.
