There is nothing odd about it and you're suffering from a misconception so allow me to clarify.

This is just unfair. I thought that the "chat" button will be gone for good, but "chat" button is alive and some chat's are not killed. Jeez, this is so stupid to make kongregatians suffer :(

So wait are we still keeping some chat rooms like AAA? That's not too bad. I don't really care about the forums. No game uploads sucks for future developers though.

Exactly. There are a few, but they're all full, so there's no way to voluntarily enter any of them. However, as I found out while I was in the Anonymous chat room VERY early this morning, when I went to get the BOTD and got disconnected from that chat room (which technically doesn't exist anymore), when I clicked "reconnect," it threw me into another chat room. So as long as you don't close the game you're in, but instead just connect to a new game, you'll remain in chat. You just might get thrown into a random new chat room when you go to reconnect. But at least you'll still be in a chat room. Which will only suck if you were talking to someone and you're not put back in the same room you were in. Oh well.

It's a process. The chat rooms will probably be mostly removed eventually, except for the select games that get to keep them.

They need to just stop, and leave it as it is now, and raise the chat room limit so people can go back and forth between the chat rooms they prefer right now. ^sigh^

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much of a voice calling for it. Or, if there is, they're not voicing it in the forums.
