So, you (Kongregate) say we should install the extension file of Supernova in addition to the player itself for the "best functionality" of it. Thing is, I just tried and it says it's only available for Chrome. I don't (and won't) use Chrome. I use Pale Moon. And I've downloaded the player, but it's not working. The Flash games won't load. I just get this blue "f" and "i" and when I click on that, it takes me to a page about the end of life of Adobe Flash. Great. So how am I supposed to play the Flash games if this Supernova thing doesn't work!?

It sounds like, according to the instructions, you're supposed to use Chrome. If you don't want to do that, any problems are your fault.

I would say it appears that the reason to use the Kongregate site at all has gone away. I am using chromium Edge with the Chrome extensions and the full player and it does not work and there is no support on how to make it work. I guess Kongregate was caught by surprise?

I was just informed by our head of engineering that SataiDelenn is correct. SuperNova only works on Chrome and Edge browsers. Support for Firefox is planned for the future. I don't believe there's any plan to make it work with Pale Moon. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

But I'm using Edge and it doesn't seem to work at all. It's happens just like op said. Nothing will load.

Not working on Chrome either, for me. Have the player, the extensions, and when I'm on a flashgame in Kongregate it won't open the player when I tell it to, nor work otherwise.

Odd, considering that I was able to start up the demo on the SuperNova website using Firefox, at least before AVG flagged the player as a threat and quarantined it.

Yeah, I think the player worked for me on firefox (though not on kongregate) but not the extension.

Yep, the extension is only for Chrome and says that, but the player doesn't say anything like that.

Great, thanks a lot. I don't have Win10, so I can't use Edge, and I refuse to use Chrome. Thanks for destroying my reason for being here. And really funny how Supernova itself claims to work on ANY browser?! So, that's a lie?

Agreed, anyone else get the sense that they are trying to force people off the site so they can claim that it wasn't worth to keep running and shut it down?
Edit: And as he said, right on the SuperNova Player page it says "The Supernova Player is a standalone player which launches from **any browser** to play .SWF games on any website." But that seems to have worked out real well.

You can probably use Srware Iron or other browser based on Chromium

Cromium is Google. Hence why I won't use Chrome.

Iron is based on Chromium but without spying and tracking parts https://www.srware.net/iron/#whyiron If you are not using Chrome because of privacy issuses then Iron is a good alternative.

Using Chrome, fully updated, Win10, Supernova doesn't seem to do anything. Games will not load. I receive the "Flash Outdated" message even when clicking, "Run this time."

OK, so I downloaded it, and I'm trying to play a game, but instead of the Flashkill thing, now I'm getting, "This game requires the latest version of Flash. Click here to download it now." So, how is this browser supposed to be better? How is it supposed to allow me to play the games I was playing yesterday?

SuperNova does not work with Kong right now (because of how Kong embeds things with iFrame). They were supposed to roll out a fix today that would get SuperNova to work with Kong, but nothing so far. "Stay Tuned"

Oh, got it. So good, not my fault or anything I've been trying to do to get the games to play. This is beyond ridiculous. How long has Kong known about the death of Flash? The same amount of time as the rest of us? So WHY didn't they test and implement this thing sooner? Oh, because that would mean they would have to be COMPETENT as a company and CARE about their players. Gee, I guess we know where we stand, don't we? Don't want to play an idle game and waste oodles of money for nothing? Well, eff off then! That's the attidtude they're projecting.

I'm right with you on this. I've been wondering why they didn't start work on something to replace or work around Flash soemtime during the period that it was know that Flash was shutting down. It's not like Adobe came out three days ago and said something like "Hey, guys, we know Flash is rather a bit part of the internet, but we're shutting it down two days from now. Have fun! Peace out."

I have installed SuperNova SWF Enabler on Iron and Supernova Player, I can run demo swf file at getsupernova and (for example) factory balls 2 at armorgames.

This sucks, man. No more Mud and Blood... I've been playing a game of that daily since 2010... no more Endless War... no more Road Of The Dead... Shockwave Flash isn't doing anything for me no matter what I try. Why would they do this? Just throw years and years of peoples work in the trash in an instant. Years of games, animations, unplayable and unwatchable. Is the future just going to be Pay2Win mobile garbage? I don't want this, no one does.
I'll miss you, Flash.

They might have to make tomorrow's game HTML too.
