I don't think Iron comes with Flash installed.
So you'd need the Ppapi Flash installer too. (which** from official sources**, is gonna be time bombed)

I like how everybody is concerned with whether or not Supernova works, but an even bigger problem is that even if it does work, it appears that you can't earn badges. :/

Well, but if it does wind up working, why wouldn't we be able to earn badges? Or do you mean that at some point, Kong is going to stop adding the already existing badges and new ones aren't being made? If so, that's something else entirely. I just want to be able to start playing the game I was playing yesterday again. Badges are nice, and Kongpanions are nice, but I want to play my game(s).

Looks like Supernova is working, but it won't log into Kongragate.

Charming. Yep, I try in the new browser which is supposed to have Supernova and its extension enabled, and all I get for the game I want to play is, "This game requires the latest version of Flash. Click here to download it."
And in Firefox, I just get the killed version of Flash symbol.
Terrific.

I don't know. But out of curiosity I went on with an alt to try to earn some badges and it looks like I'm not earning any of the badges for the games that I play. :/

Interesting. ^sigh^
Glad I'm not having this issue with my Ubisoft game. They don't use Flash, thankfully, so at least I can still play that. And I can still play the games which came installed on my computer.

Yep, very interesting. I was able to load and play the demo thing at Supernova, so it's definitely a Kong issue. I hope trickeyrodent can get the thing working soon!

Supernova **is** actually working now on Kongregate - in Chrome :P

Well, I'll wait until they can get it working in other browsers. I will NOT install Chrome. And funny how Supernova is working in the Demo for me in my chosen browser on the Supernova site. So this is definitely a Kong issue.

It loads the flash game, but then it says it cannot log into Kong. There is a button, but it doesn't do anything.

Interesting. While Kong was down for maintenance, I was able to load one of the "time waste" games through Supernova (I didn't need to do anything, it just popped up in the browser asking me if I want to allow Flash or play through Supernova, so I chose Supernova and it worked), but now that Kong is back up, and I try to access regular games which used Flash, I'm still not able to load them. ^sigh^
Further, when I try and click on the plug-in extension at the top of my browser page, it asks if I want to run the game in Supernova, or enable Flash. I click on Supernova, and nothing happens.

Connection to Kongregate failed!

K -- Register Now
K and Register now are not active buttons. Nothing happens. No way to log in.
BTW, my Kongregate login is obvious, as I can post messages here.

Between using Chrome, Supernova SWF Enabler, not closing Chrome for several weeks(... yes, you read that right), not updating Flash Player OR Chrome for said weeks...
I still can load and play the games just "fine".
Of course "fine" is used in a broad sense because the browser mashes the "Update plugin or else! Fine, I'll let you *run this time*" banner at me every browser page view.

humans are short-sighted and slow to learn. with a little luck, maybe this will remind people the lesson about using proprietary technology. with a lot of luck, adobe will also be boycotted until they either do the right thing/ or die along with flash.. flash never was any good, it was just easy.

You can say the same about M$ Windows and many other "proprietary technologies" :P

Thank you for the link to the Supernova thing. And yeah, it looks like SOME games will load, but most won't. It's really frustrating because I was playing War of Omens daily since it was the BOTD last week, and it's a really great game (to me). But since Flash was killed, I can't play it at all. It doesn't seem compatible with Supernova. When I try to load the game, the game screen just sits there saying, "This game requires the latest version of Flash. Click here to download it." And then there's the games which show the Supernova screen and "Play" button, but when you click on "Play," nothing happens. But other games (like Filler 2), do work with the Supernova thing. I don't understand it, but that's the way it seems it's going to be.

I right with you. that card game was rather impressive and I'm sorry that I missed out on it when it came out. The good news though is that the game is free through Steam, though I think that might require starting over since it's a bit hard to export the save from the game here without it being able to run without flash.

Well I just found out something funny, by installing the supernova player to my system it overides and blocks flash in firefox that I had working with an older version of flash, even though I only have the extension in chrome the player effects everything system wide and prevents me from playing games on kong. Now I have to try and figure out how to purge supernova from my system
Update: Well it seems to be unhappy coincedence in the timing that it happened, that its not supernova fault but kong's as they changed something server side to force the move to supernova, I have now realized this as I went to a system with no trace of supernova installed and still get the install supernova in the game window.
supernova doesn't work for me, can kong make a link so I can at least load up the flash version once more?

i uninstalled it. i dunno why you guys think it's some kinda Denuvo DRM thing or McAfee. I can't find any "residue" left behind except maybe some registry entries.

OK, I'm trying to play one of the games on here (Cradle of Rome) and I get the Supernova window and I click on it, and the player pops up but then I get something called "Gameshell" and it has a whole bunch of numbers and letters after it, and then under that says, "Start Game." So I click on "Start Game" and I then just get a blank white screen. WTF!?
